Just wanted to chime in that even now, this is still working for me. I've had to deal with really low upload speeds in my area for the past few months to the point it's pointless to stream. Since I cannot cam the way I want, I work my phone sex listings, passive income, skype shows, and use multiple texting platforms and they make up for the loss of live cam income to cover my expenses.

Love this! If I can give just one piece of advice I've recently started and apologies if it's already on here, it's the 'Cash Envelope System.' I use it all the time in addition to other things, but I honestly believe it's the BEST way to keep aware of what you spend.
You can search it online and there are tons of amazing inspiring stories, but in a nutshell this is how it works.
Use cash for everything you can! Simple. That's it. Take out the cash from the bank (assuming you are paid into the bank) and separate it into different budgets. This obviously is only for stuff you can pay cash for like food, petrol, pet food etc and not direct debits.
Using this creates two really powerful things. First, you set a budget for food for example and split it into weekly amounts, assuming you shop weekly. You take the money with you, you CANNOT spend more than you have! In fact, I always want to spend less and bring home some money.
The second huge thing is that you are AWARE of every penny you spend. This is not the case with debit and credit cards. Use real money and you'll really see the difference. And because you SEE what you spend, you see each penny leaving, you are more inclined to NOT spend and not be wasteful.
The reason I love this so much is because I've been awful with money before and much of it has been wasted. It breaks my heart. And this system works no matter how much you have. The more you are aware of what you spend, the more you are inclined to spend it wisely. It's not about being frugal unless you need to be, it's about making your money work for you.
I hate things like 'pay with your phone' and all these ways to pay so easily without seeing actual money. I see the logic, but they are not for me. The better I use my money, the more I can put towards things I thought I couldn't afford or do. It's amazing the difference it makes!
Relating it to this work, it's a great way to control spending even when times are tricky, and if you can put some away for those times when it's busy, you get more peace of mind.
