My understanding is if you are in the private/spy mode you have to be naked, but I dont think you can be like naked cleaning your house voyeur style I think you have to be like nude and ready to do a show

You can spend your whole shift in the Spy mode, but I want to mention a few important points.

Visitors who start spying are under impression they will be watching a Private show that is already in progress. You don’t have to be naked, but it’s better if there is some kind of action in your room (the level of naughtiness depends on a model's mood). Most importantly, when you are in a Spy mode, you absolutely should not leave your spot even for a minute. If you need a break, please pause the broadcast.

It also unrecommended to start your work on the site by broadcasting in the Spy mode only. During the first two weeks, a model has the New status and it gives her the opportunity to find followers and fans. I would advise to take advantage of this opportunity, but, as I said, the final decision is always up to a chathost.

Man these grey dudes are stressing me out! .. the worst part is when they carry on conversations and start arguing with you and yet have zero intention to spend money.. but yet the site says not to ignore anyone so I feel like I have to say hello and then the shit storm begins.. out of the 6 cam sites I am on this one is really mentally draining me with the grey dudes.

I almost always completely ignore the grey dudes. They’ll just zap my energy. Screw that. They don’t pay and are VERY demanding. Sometimes I just read their messages without responding tho since they say funny shit once in a while lol I look at other models on there and don’t see them engaging the greys at all either

Chloe, do u recommend having a vibe toy when starting or is not necessary? I read lovense and kiiroo toys work on stripchat but couldn't find a list with the toy models cause kiiroo has more models, i plan to get the Esca one and i wonder, should i wait til i get the toy or start as soon i am approved? I understand the 2 weeks boost is starting when we stream 1st not when we get approved. I wish to make good use of this time tho i wonder, does the site has a wish list feature where members can buy me a toy for example?
Thanks! Xx

Great questions, I will try to answer them as detailed as possible :)

That's correct, the boost period begins from the first day online, but connecting an interactive toy right away is not necessary. This is a good way to attract an audience to your chat, but it is not the only way - and certainly not the only way to keep the audience in your room. A good camera, microphone, interesting and complete profile, descriptive tags, Tip menu, etc are very important too.
However, Kiiroo Esca is an excellent choice, models with this type of toy appear in Interactive Toys and Kiiro categories at the same time.

As for the wishlist, on Stripchat you can add a link to your Amazon wishlist (My profile > My information > Social media section)

And about Grey users.
Even though every Green or Gold user was once a Grey guest, we totally understand how annoying grey users can be. Our team has already planned several updates to make chathosts' work easier.

Would that be giving us the option to keep members without funds from chatting like on Cams? They can chill in our rooms and listen and hear in free chat but not interact in anyway.
I'm not on Stripchat btw just checking out new sites because hey you never know. They might be a good fit :).

My first day on the site I complained that we can't block them and was thanked for the feedback but no solutions suggested. I limit my time on Stripchat because of them.

Since we can't silence them before they speak I go ahead and ban them ALL as soon as they ask me for anything. Not allowing anyone to watch me and beg without tipping.

I used to mute them but they would come back the next day and I refuse to put up with their harassment. Plus I get spam links pasted in by them a few times an hour, can't ban them fast enough.

I got my vibe toy but i really dont know to work the token sites, i dont know how much to charge there (pvt, tip menu, so on), i dont wanna go too low or too high but my fees might be too high for this site?
Please if u guys can help regarding prices, i wanna work with medium ones.
How much for pvt, for a tit flash, for standing up and showing off.
The private fee they mentioned $1.2/min means that's my cut? i dont really get the token system, i understand 1 tk is $0.05 but why they say $1.2/min for pvt if i can set the pvt fees myself in tk?! Pls help! ty!
Do u guys can make money in there w.o doing public nude shows? I dont wanna masturbate in free, i want that for pvt only, is it doable? What i saw there scared the shit out of me, all sexual acts in public, not willing to do that honesty.

Does anyone know what they mean when they say they your not allowed to post that you have a toy anywhere on your profile when its not on ? Like what if you dont feel like having it on one day but you have info about it on your profile and some salty custy gets pissed because u didnt show pussy for 5 tokens or something and they try to report you for it . Would u get written up for it ?

this is the rule im talking about
Using fake interactive toys trying to pass them off as real ones, as well as advertising the use of an interactive toy anywhere on your profile when it is disconnected or not working

KatM

Yes, they want only real toys and my logic is, dont mention u got a toy in ur profile at all because when u on cam and ur toy is online it is visible to members anyway and people can tip to buzz it. It can happen the toy goes offline and needs to be recharged so saying in ur profile u have a toy but not having it available ALL THE TIME while live on cam can get us in trouble, is not about members getting pissed u did not show pussy, its about the site checking if u have a real toy when on cam.

Just don't put it on your profile in writing. If you have it on and connected it shows up and if it's off it doesn't.
There's an icon there on your thumbnail when it's on.

I think they are referring to models that don't actually have it connected but are typing in their profile or in the chat room that it is.

I wouldn't put it there in case you don't want to use it sometime.

Under your bio when you log in there's a tip menu where it says Interactive Toys and you can put how much to tip and how long it vibrates for each tip.

When your toy is not connected that menu doesn't show and there is no icon.

If your toy is not connected, then we ask you to remove information about it from the profile and bio.
Unfortunately, some models like to pretend that they have an interactive device / that the toy works when, in fact, it is not.We try to minimize the number of such situations and appreciate your understanding and assistance.

However, if it's hard for you to update your profile all the time, you just need to mention in the chat topic that the toy is not working today, - and that's it :)

Big news!
We want to help you improve your broadcasting experience by filtering out unwanted comments, so now you have the option to hide messages from Grey users in the chat. However, these messages will only be hidden for you and visible to other users.
To enable this option head over to the chat settings on the top-right of your chat window.
Take into account that enabling this option may negatively affect chat activity and interaction in your room

No.

This is not solving the problem with these grey users at all.

The issue is not that I am reading the messages - the issue is that they are constantly spamming my chatroom with affiliate links to competing sites or begging for free peeks, bringing down the mood in my room.

I do not need these broke assholes in my room running off my fans and paying customers!

I do appreciate the effort but what is really needed is something like MFC's system where they are actually muted. This encourages them to load at least a little money on their account so they can chat.

I agree. Not the right solution. Greys shouldn’t be able to post links. Seems pretty easy to allow the models to not allow free users to engage in chat.

A little more about hiding messages from the Grey users.

We’ve received a lot of feedback from hosts and totally understand how annoyed they are by the Grey users and how much models would like to be able to block users without a balance. However, for the Stripchat team it is a priority to allow sending messages even for users that have not made a purchase yet. Being able to message a chat host has been proven to motivate to buy tokens significantly better than being blocked from chatting.

All this being said, we agree that rude visitors and spammers do not contribute to a safe and friendly chat environment, and here’s what we are going to do about it.

* Models who get distracted from talking with the Green and Gold members by seeing Grey users’ messages will be able to use the ‘Hide Grey user's messages’ feature that can be located in Chat Settings.

You will not be seeing any texts from the Grey users, and the Grey users will be notified you cannot read their messages until they have tokens in their balance.

* Please, do not be concerned about not having enough control over your chat room while using this feature. Any member will be able to flag inappropriate or spam messages. It has already shown noticeable decrease in bad texts send in chats, and we hope it will make the site filtering system even more efficient. Also, let’s not forget about your Knights: they can be very useful when it comes to chat moderation.

We will keep working on it, and hopefully these changes already make your work on the site more comfortable and convenient.

A few words about the New Stats in the model cabinet: after the update, they can also be used for earnings analysis.

Information in Earnings has a lot of possibilities, and it’s not only limited by tokens earned during a specific period.

In Paying Users, you can sort the data by any desired parameter by clicking on a column title.

You can also group the data by the last payment date, tips, or a specific type of show. You can easily see who of your customers buys content the most, who prefers private shows, and who has been your biggest spender during a specific time frame. All of that is accessible in only a couple of clicks.

An excellent additional option is seeing who of your viewers is online right now.

Really love the site otherwise, but giving Knights the ability to mute grey users (also green and gold paying viewers - what??!!) and not giving this control to the cam model is not good. I would never give a customer that kind of control over my room. I know some do but it often ends badly.

Also it's a bit insulting that we still cannot actually mute the greys ourselves.

Am I understanding this correctly in that if I make a customer a knight he gets to mute them completely and they cannot chat but I can only hide their text from myself and they can continue chatting?

I don't get why they offer every fan club member the same benefits pretty much. Why would a 'soldier' want to SPEND MORE to be a 'prince'? 'Prince' doesn't even SOUND as good. Wish the levels were better

xChloe
01-20-2020, 04:02 AM
laurielegs, let me explain how it works now.
Knights get the same "mute opportunities" as models: they can mute a specific rude guy or spammer in the chat of their favorite model. Previously, knights could only mute Grey users, but now their capabilities have been expanded.
Knights are very helpful when model is too busy talking during her show to mute abusive users/spammers, or if she hid messages from Grey users in her chat (in this case, the Knight will still see those messages and will be able to help with moderation).

xChloe
01-20-2020, 04:03 AM
MissAdriana, thanks for your comment.
We will improve the Fan club in the future, and your suggestion is very helpful. If you have any other ideas on a Fan club or other site options, please do not hesitate to write them, the opinion of the models is very important for the Stripchat team.

For the love of God, do not let Grey users post links. Limit the amount of times a grey can message in a room in a certain amount of time. Such easy changes. The amount of spam Grey users post is outrageous. I have to constantly ban greys for posting redirect links.

Exactly, the one who really wants to spend, will spend. I have the guests/ grey muted on CB and MFC and I actually had people signing up, because they liked me and wanted to spend.
Letting them talk without having credits purchased, will only waste my time, because Idk if he is going to vanish and also, will teach them that they can get away with the chat, till someone spends on a show and they can watch for free.
Nope.

Sex work should be expensive. This is not Twitch.

I'm interested to join Stripchat but after 8 years of camming, I don't have the time and energy to deal with free users. I will when they are totally letting us muting them. And yes, I have enough experience to say that a member will always pay, even if he is muted as guest. Of he wants my attention, he is gonna take the challenge for me.

Has anyone noticed that these cam customers are meaner than the other cam sites? I had to ban 2 paying customers today because I didn't show them what they paid for fast enough... and they were calling me fucking cunt, bitch etc etc.. much meaner.. I hope as I work there longer they will settle down.....the last several weeks it's because of this cam site I don't want to cam at all.. but right now cuz I am still not seasoned the money is a lil more than my other token sites so I feel like I have to work here even though the cam customers are mean, and customer service stands on their side telling you to promote a positive environment with such toxic negative abusers.. I notice the cam site is not ever really siding with the cam girl.. Someone got a refund for 50 cents because he didn't think like that I replied to a comment he said when he tipped me and said, " it's better than nothing" in which I replied about how men give you breadcrumb but I deserve the whole loaf.. so then he gets a refund? I think this is why they have such abusive cam customers.. I have not seen anything like it since the first days of Bonga.. wondering if any of you girls feel the same way.. I feel so bad after working on there way worse than other cam sites.

The thing is though, it’s not just annoying for us having to put up with the greys. On the rare occasion I’ve had a couple of nice/not rude or annoying ones, I’ve let them chat away cause they’re contributing to the vibe in the room and my paid users are getting along with them.

On a few occasions though, I’ve looked away from my screen for a few seconds or so only to look back and see my paid users, arguing with greys because they’re tipping and the greys are loudly and proudly enjoying all the freebies they’re getting and demanding more and more, without contribution!

How is that beneficial for anyone, other than the greys? I understand it’s up to us to create the vibe in the chat room so I mute the greys immediately and let the paid users know this, but I’m on my paid users side here. It’s annoying for me, let alone them!

I’ve converted 2, maybe 3 greys. It was straight forward and it was them asking me “how do I do X with you?” or “What do I have to do to see X?” Then they’d bought tokens in no time and paid for what they’d asked for.

I got the impression they had come to that site with the intention of paying for someone. I don’t think it was in the slightest cause they could sit and waste my time without payment, that encouraged them to pay.

Like Cutie101 said, I don’t think giving these greys constant freebies is encouraging them to pay. It’s like it’s almost devaluing our time and attention because the tone has been set that there is no need to contribute if they want to try and get our attention.

I've been on here since October and I still get it a lot. Gold members are usually the worst culprits for it. They come in just hurling alsorts of insults at me out of nowhere and I deliberately sit and ignore them to make a point of not giving them any attention and they just keep going and going!

It doesn't bother me, I just think it's odd lol. but I can definitely say I've not had this problem to anywhere near an extent elsewhere!

I ban them instantly.

Even if you ignore them and they don't bother you, they can often annoy and run off your paying clients. I've banned so many of them but it was well worth the time. I want to interact with men who are willing to pay me, not wasting a single minute with those broke losers.

So has StripChat removed their model referral program of $75 per model you directly refer successfully to the site? I had a model recently sign up and broadcast using my affiliate link but I received no payout. When I contacted support, they said the referral program is for USERS not for MODELS. That simply is not the case; or was not when the model I referred signed up...

My model referral link: https://go.strpjmp.com/?userId=d0f98412420adadd6a4183e3d8c45207dc6a21a6af eb94ad17f40289dd4c38fa&path=/signup/model

I checked the info you are asking about, and, as far as I see, you have already contacted my colleagues.
Most likely, you are using a very old ref-link, which is currently inactive (but my colleagues will provide you accurate and reliable details).

The new referral program (the one you can find in User Referral Program tab) allows you to bring visitors and earn an extra 20% from their payments in your room.

However, if you want to invite other models to the site, then you can register an affiliate account via Stripcash.com.
Here is some more information about Stripcash: a one-time bonus of $75 for Tier 1 countries, $50 for Tier 2 countries, and $25 for Tier 3 countries (you will be able to see tiers levels right in your user area). To receive your bonus, each model you referred has to make a minimum of $200 in revenue.

Stripchat does not provide such a form as we are not US-based company.

Please refer to your accountant to help you handle such tax issues for companies that are not US-based.

We recommend at least 4 Mbps upload speed, and preferably cable, as WiFi might not be stable enough.

Thank you :) How long does it take to be approved & ready to stream on here?
