Just my two cents but I dont think it is a good idea to blast the sites to the customers - Yes this is messed up that payments are late but like mentioned above guys are already annoying and obnoxious at times about doing cashapp/paypal/google etc..... and some are new to indy and nervous about using some indy sites -- I feel it would be better to not share the current situation in full and feed into that - If I decide to direct a customer to another processor my story will be that the site is not able to process payments at the moment so I need you to pay here ( wherever) -- they dont need all of the dirty details
Is there a thread started already started about AVN & Erotifix?? If not it would be awesome if one of you ladies with some knowledge of the sites started one so all of this great info doesn't get buried here and we would have a place to post updates

not sure if that was directed or partially directed at me/my comments, but yeah, fair enough. I wouldn't say I put LCMS on blast/gave "dirty details", really I just told one of my regs that I was stressed because my payment was late, and that i'd probably have to find another site for the time being. not surprisingly he was basically like "well how do you know your payments will be reliable with this new processor? just let me send you money directly." a few of my guys have spent a lot on me via LCMS over the past year, so to just all of a sudden be like "oh btw i need you to pay me at this brand new site" naturally makes them a bit suspicious. they want to be sure their info is safe and that i'm actually going to get their money, which I think is a valid concern.
anyway i'm about to start a shift on another site so i can't make a new thread right now but i agree we should start some new ones about the other indie options.

The thing is, he's never going to be "sending you the money directly". It always be through a payment processor of one kind or another. While a lot of the indie processors can be flaky and some have gone AWOL, vanilla processors can also leave you in the lurch if they ever figure out what you are up to. And trusting the customer sending the payment isn't the only thing that matters. If Paypal or Google figure out what your business is through some other means, they might ban you from the service entirely, compromising your ability to operate a vanilla hustle that uses their service or to pay people for vanilla things. It's not worth the risk.

Not directed at you at all!!! This is a bad situation with no really good answers. I have been mulling this over and over and over myself trying to decide the best way to handle it. We are all in this together, my intention was not to call you or anyone else out. What you did was exactly what I initially thought I would do. After having some time to think about it I thought I would try what I mentioned. Would love to hear any other thoughts/ideas/input..........
@spemily - years ago I lost 800.00 from GreenDot I tried for weeks and weeks to get my money from them but they kept sending me in a circle and I finally gave up - learned my lesson

oh yeah i am very aware and i ranted about this on the previous page, lol. i've been camming nearly 7 years and i've always had the stern policy of never taking a payment via mainstream/vanilla apps, period. i also do vanilla work that is paid through paypal so hell no am i going to possibly compromise that. this situation just sucks so i can't say it's not tempting to take the risk. i won't, but it's definitely tempting, especially with 'trusted' regs.

Hey all, I have emailed Steven and her mom again hoping for some real help as I got no where last time now that 3 payouts are now not done i got some movement.
Her landlord told her mom she saw Jesse yesterday and will go to her apt soon as she can to get her to contact her or me and make the payouts
Crossing fingers here for all of us that Jesse will do the right thing by us all.

I had an account with ccbill but they keep back 6 months worth of your money to insure against chargebacks and it's around £500 fee to be able to take MasterCard (or visa, possibly both can't remember). Absolutely not worth it in my eyes, they're not set up for individual models. They work better as a large site processor.

I think it really depends on individual model circumstances. I did the math and based on what I've made year-to-date on indie clients, it seems I would net at least several thousand dollars more with CCBill compared to giving up 15-20% to an indie site.
EDIT: I just deleted a chunk of my post because I'm realizing I was probably wrong about my calculations... I am now seeing the transaction fees appear way higher than I initially thought for adult-specific businesses. Anyway looks like I have a lot more research to do. At the end of the day though, it's ultimately going to come down to weighing how much I want to be in control of my money versus continuing to work with indie sites, as more of them shut down or become unreliable.
[Sorry for thread derail... I started a thread with a CCBill question (https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?228999-Using-a-credit-card-processor-directly-(i-e-not-through-an-indie-site)) a little while back if mods want to move this there]

Don’t know why I have this feeling of disappointment. At this point, I doubt there is a major force that caused this chaos. And while some might judge me for saying it, probably we’re never gonna see our money.

I have been still trying, but as of today, All sources are exhausted. We are all at the mercy of Jesse to get her shit together. Steven doesn't want any more emails and does not wish to contact Jesse; her mom bless her heart and has been trying as much as I have with nothing. She is worried and frustrated.
She and Steven ended the marriage yet again 2 months ago; she is fine, sad -- No excuse for this. Not Impressed! This is so unacceptable you do not ever put your personal issues before business especially holding other people's hard-earned income. They pay rent mortgages, food on the table for their families etc. I am beyond pissed I am seeing red!!
I wish I had better news and what I have said what breaks the agreement, but I don't give a shit anymore. People deserve real answers!!!!!

oof, i had a customer who i haven't done a show with in a while send me an unprompted tip on LCMS last night. thankfully it was only $25, but still... frustrating. now i have more random money floating around in her accounts. jesse owes me over three thousand dollars and it sounds like she is just sitting at home ignoring everyone? this is reprehensible.
i found phone numbers listed on two of her sites contact pages:
https://www.livecammodelshows.com/contact/
https://quinn69.com/contact/
unfortunately when i tried to call the first one i just got an automated response from my phone provider basically saying my plan doesn't cover international numbers. wondering if anyone else might have success. (highly doubt it but maybe worth a shot.)
the second one is out of service. :(

Just wanted to thank Jolee so much for all the effort. This cannot be easy for you, plus you’re under contract and such, so thank you for doing everything you could do, for models, some of whom never even worked for GPC (like myself). The way that you’ve tried to help us, despite not being obligated to, is amazing. If you ever open a site again, I’ll gladly work with you.
As for everything else, I’m immeasurably disappointed. For years LCMS was the industry leader in terms of payout % and transparency and ethics. That’s gone now and it’s actually gutting. IndieBill shut down the other day without warning, and who knows which other payment processors will follow. In a world where we’re seemingly slowly losing the ability to get paid for our work (especially those of us who don’t live in the US), sites like LCMS were gold. Personally, I am hoping that Jesse is mentally ok. I too have done some rash things in the past when I wasn’t in my right mind, so I know what it is to be in that space and to be struggling. Does it excuse any of this? Hell no.

This is good to hear, I just had to change my website to take off the LCMS link as a payment processor, as I'm working more again and getting inquiries. It made me sad. I have over $200 pending for payments and I'm supposed to film a custom video today so that is relieving if payments are coming, I was contemplating asking the guy to do a chargeback :(

I’m kinda pissed. I thought LCMS doesn’t do payments on Paxum anymore and now I woke up and Paxum is asking me for evidence about that transfer, cause Jesse didn’t care to send it to my bank account, even tho she has that info. Argh!
But apparently my money is on the way, so at least that.

I received my older pending payment, thanks Jesse. I hope all is well and that a statement will be made so we all can continue to work together and trust be established again. I think many of us would hate to lose you as a payment processor! I figured Jesse would come through, but it is a bit worrying that she seems to be the only one in charge of payments, if something happens to her etc. I don't like the thought of giving my 20% in future to the big sites though.

Same. With Indiebill shutting down and CMD having payment issues for years now (not payouts, but accepting payments) there are precious few ways left to safely take indy payments and I really don't want to lose LCMS. I did get paid and I'm really happy about that. However, I'd need to know what measures are being taken to prevent this from happening in the future before I would feel comfortable taking payments here again.
Luna66
11-06-2020, 09:54 AM
In order for me to feel comfortable using LCMS again, I would need Jesse to announce she has hired a separate, non-family, non-friend person (or business) to do payouts.
Nikki_Fox
11-06-2020, 10:32 AM
Not trying to defend or justify any of the recent issues with LCMS - I only know what you guys know in that regard.
From a business standpoint, I dont see how it would be possible to keep the 85% payout if an outside business is hired.
Processing credit cards is expensive for ANY business and exponentially more for an adult business. The processing fee percentage is only one of the fees that these companies charge. That 15% has to cover ALL of the fees that the processor charges, banking fees ( normal business banking account charges) , reserves to cover chargebacks ( she has always covered them to my knowledge) , accounting time/fees to calculate our payouts and issue them, then lastly the business also has to make a profit ( it is not there as a favor to us) .
( crude overview)
anonamiss
11-06-2020, 12:07 PM
When I was looking into using a CC merchant directly I was kind of astounded that the fees were still so high -- honestly I don't understand the incentive for people like Jesse or Indiebill to only take 15% when that is so close to what they have to give the high risk merchant anyway. I'd think they'd barely make a profit on that, but I suppose a very small profit margin could add up? Still, as PGD said on another related thread, the 15/85 payment model isn't sustainable. I've pretty much accepted that going forward I'll have to give up 20% to find a reliable third party indie processor.
I'm not sure what Jesse would have to say or do to get me on board with LCMS again, but she's definitely lost my trust at this point. It really sucks because ideally I'd like to be able to continue using the site. I would potentially be okay with giving up 20% to continue using LCMS if she got another person to reliably do the payouts.

kinda surprised but i got another deposit today for only $18 (it was from a customer who sent me an unprompted $25 tip a couple weeks ago). i suppose that's a good sign that payout is continuing to happen (now on time), but i can't fathom why jesse hasn't made any type of post/acknowledgment about this yet. i am having a hard time finding a good alternative indie site and i'd REALLY like to keep using LCMS, but i just can't do it without more word from Jesse first.

So I am completely lost. I was traveling so didn't cam for a bit, and now my profile is gone, Jesse's profile on discord either blocked me or is deleted, no one is replying to me. I told a customer who wanted to pay through lcms that I had to wait to see what's happening and he said "everything is fine, I spoke to the owner" I don't know wtf he's talking about. I told him good luck because my profile is gone. I had requested profile update months ago, to make it easier to take payments, and only thing that came from it is my profile disappeared. No communication or heads, up.
Jesse has always been great and super helpful, so not sure what is going on. Is anyone having any luck communicating with anyone at lcms?

I will note, my profile is not deleted so not sure what happened there in your case, Lynn.
Curious if anyone has resumed taking payments and whether or not they're getting processed on time?

Sorry if I am not allowed to share link, I forget the rules. Here is my link http://www.livecammodelshows.com/lynn-wu
That's what it looks like, I'll have to remove the link from my social media and profiles.
I also can't log on anymore from the model admin page. :-(
When I asked for a profile update two months ago, (then again month later) it was to update the prices and add more times ( I used to only offer half hour and 1 hour. ) My indies grew more than streaming and I wanted to start directing my own to lcms instead of the "other" site, customers liked using lcms better in general, and lcms is better than 75%, PLUS I loved my simple page Jesse made, I loved it, not too much, not too little. She had just finished resolving my payment issue, so I was soooo ready to start hustling lcms.
Such a bummer.
I know some have had bad experiences with Jesse, but mine were always good, and she always showed concern, gone out of her way to help, and didn't give up until a solution was found. No one else has done that in this industry and rarely in others. It does seem her personal life gets in the way of her business, and I'm not going to judge, just hope she can get that balance and is ok.
anonamiss
11-18-2020, 11:43 AM
The email I sent earlier this week specifically asked if she was going to address the late payment issue and make an official statement about it, and whether or not LCMS was even going to continue as a business.
It is so unprofessional to just ghost on all your models without answers, particularly because she's a veteran cammodel who specifically made an indie site for other cammodels, which implied a certain level of trust and understanding. I mean if Jesse is really so overwhelmed with personal issues that she can't run her business, the least she could do is send out a mass email/admin message with a generic apology and say that LCMS is temporarily or officially shut down, and make all of our profiles inactive for the time being.
I actually hate that my profile is still up and able to process payments from customers -- I'd be happier if my profile was deleted at this point. I had someone send me a random tip a few weeks ago in the midst of all of this chaos and then had to go tell them not to use my profile there anymore. (Thankfully that payment went through and I got paid, but still. I have no reason to trust that I'd continue to get paid if I keep using the site.)

I'm shocked at this development and can't help but think Jesse must have had something catastrophic happen either with mental health (I can relate and I'm sure a lot of us can) or physical health.
I hope she can get a reliable partner hired for times like this to regain trust and get back in business. It's such a needed service and there aren't many other options like this at all.

I haven't been payed since the beginning of October. My fault as I got the dates mixed up in my bank and thought things were fine.
It is quite a few thousand dollars and I'm pretty frustrated by this I know in the past Jesse has come through but judging by this thread quite a few people were paid at the beginning of the month and I wasn't in that group. Are any others still waiting on payouts?
If you still haven't been paid let me know the more heads to fix this the better. I really do hope Jesse is ok, this is a hard time for everyone and if it is a mental health issue then our, justified, reactions will only be exacerbating the pain.
I am looking at creating another option for indie models in the future maybe one that is a bit more transparent...
I will continue to give Jesse the benefit of the doubt that she will come through this again but I will be looking at how best to recover my payments if necessary.
