You do need to provide proof of your current address. A utility bill or bank statement will do, there should be a place for you to submit that in the Paxum dashboard.

I tried with Ruth but no word from her.I just emailed Chris and Octav and hope one of them will help.
I have a bank account but no debit card because it expired so i'll go today at the bank to ask them to send me a new card. I don't know how to get this bank statement.I never even heard of it or how to obtain it.

Anyone had success with loading onto a debit card? I'm scared to click yes, incase my money gets lost. Also 3% is insane :(

So far It's been over a week since I withdrew funds to my EU account from Paxum via EFT and I haven't gotten anything yet... getting concerned! I withdrew last Thursday.... I know it says 5-7 business days but really!

I uploaded documents april 12th they just got rejected a few days ago. You really do need to have YOUR name on everything so I am searching through my stuff to see if I can find SOMETHING in order to get approved but really that is fucking ridiculous and I already don't like them just for how long that took

They approved my EFTs in usually 4 days, sometimes even between 1-5 days but the media was 4. Since the influx of new applicants on their site, I noticed it s taking them longer.
I applied for their card months before the FCP hysteria and they failed to print it during those months. When I asked in the winter, they told me they are having problems with the issueing bank.

It's 5-7 business days from when you get the email that it has been completed not since you requested it btw. I thought it was 5-7 since request is made but no.

I havent. It wont take your money if your card doesnt support the deposit. I tried with 10 usd, it said my card denied the deposit, then i tried 3 others, same thing.

Thanks, that's a good idea actually, try a small amount and see if it transfers, I'll try that. Otherwise, the money has been paid into a usd paxum account, and I also have a gbp one on there so I will do a wire. To do the wire you have to transfer between paxum accounts, and their exchange rate is AWFUL, I lose a hundred gbp.....plus their transfer fee of 50 dollars.....this is pretty terrible tbh.

Cosmo sent me their card so I might start using them after this but I'm still on the fence about them too. I wonder if cosmo is better than paxum, both give me anxiety..

I came here to ask how long it's normal to wait to be verified since I sent in my documents 10 or 11 days ago and still haven't heard a peep back. But I see other people have been waiting a long time too.

@panzi, I had the same problem. I had nothing as proof of my current address. The way I solved it, was to go to my bank and ask them to print me a document called "Credit info" with my name and address with Latin characters on it. It usually takes 24 hours/ 1 business day to take that document on your hands from your bank. I submitted the document and paxum verified my account. I hope this will help you.

The website just posted it could take upto 15 days to answer support tickets and verification. I've seen chats of people freaking out.

I requested for my card May 1. so now I am wondering if I should switch my sites that have it to paxum.

have it be check in the mail for 2 or 3 months and deal with check cashing fees at money mart. I am curious what the WIRE fee is on the paxum card. since I can not transfer my funds using EFT or Debit or Credit Card method.

PLUS. found a near by CIBC ATM that is USD$ so I don't have to travel to the airport to take out money off my card and keep my fees super low. basically I can withdrawl US funds here in Canada then walk down to the bank and exchange it back to Canadian dollars without the card eating fees.

if I was doing the airport route. I Would take the train $19 round trip for a USD$ ATM instead of 3% plus $3.99 from money mart.

I can tell you this whole thing got me super creative.

please let the next crisis happen in another 10 years.

I am curious too I was assuming its $50? Damn how long is the train trip!? Money mart took over $100 from my last check but that's pretty much the easiest least stressful option I can find lol

The idea sounded crazy at first. but If I end up losing $65 or more from money mart or wire fees. I will be travelign to the airport for a US dollar ATM. or hopefully a CIBC bank with US dollar cash will work out for me. it's much easier to have US cash on hand and walking into almost anywhere and exchange it to Canadian.

the train ride is about 30 minutes and it's straight into the airport to find a forgein currency ATM and back home $19 ! plus yes there is travel time to get to the train but that is $3 on regular transit system. so that is about $6 round trip. might as well give out all the numbers so you can see the work I am doing to keep more money and less in fees.

I don't know yet. but I will have to wait and see if I can just put on my card walk to a cibc machine if will let me just take out my US money yet. I need the paxum card and cash on it plus if it works that is a walk down the street to it and then a shorter walk to my main bank. and then that fee will be $2 US withdrawl. that is the ideal option right here.

This is what i am waiting for

it would be one day, money is on my paxum card, the paxum has arrived and it active, I walk to the Cibc machine, if it doesn't give me the option to take US dollars. i will hope on the subway to the train to the airport and get my money. I might even make a vlog on my youtube channel when that happens. cause its getting a little ridiculous getting my money with paying as little fees as possible.

even with my other affiliate marketing stuff if I walk to us their e-wallet pre-paid card. its abotu the same method. but they are easier to send me my funds via paypal or direct deposit because they are non-adult.

but making US dollars not living in the USA is always some type of field trip, but the good thing is once that money is in my bank account regularly my banks tuirn around give me every damn product they can sell me because they see me as "Valuable"

FUCK. This is a big problem for me. This makes no sense... how can it take 7 business days for the request to be completed and then another 5-7 for me to actually get the funds??

I requested EFT twice so far. It took 3 and 4 days for me to have the request completed and another 2 and then 3 to have funds loaded in my bank account. I prefer credit card withdrawal right now, even If I pay more in fees.

That makes me think something is wrong.... I can't wait 4 weeks to get one week's paycheck! Anyone else have a delay of this long? I have written Chris, Ruth, support, tried calling... can't get through to anyone.

So as it turns out, withdrawing from Paxum via WIRE can take up to 10 business days. I requested some money about 10 days ago, and only today does it show as validated. If you can use any other payment method at this time, I urge you to do so, as there is a huge chance that you will not get your money on time to pay month end bills etc, even if you start withdrawing mid month.

Is somebody in the same situation as me?
I filled the form and paid 40$ for it in April 2018 and until now, February 2019, they did not send me the Paxum card!!!
I am tired of letting them tons of messages. Never saw something like this in my life!

They did not print my unit number on the envelope so it took 6 months to track down my card.

I did eventually get my card, but I had no way of knowing how they print the address on the envelope.

now with them offering EFT / or ETF transfers for $8.95 I might use their service since it is now available in Canada

Email their support and find out how are they printing your address on the card. missed printed address will definitely stop your items from arriving to you.

Took me 4 months to get mine and that was with paying for express shipping to Canada.

Today a a card showed up with my unit number written by hand on the paper holding the card. this makes the second one

so not only are they finally answering the back log of complaints I have made some how two cards have been sent out.

Do you think it's worth the risk to test that out after already having a bad experience? I applied a long time ago they never even approved my documents

the ETF is a different system then the mastercard.

With a solid emergency fund. I can handle it for one time attempt.
