Is anyone else still waiting for payment from SM to their card? I got the card almost right away and in my payment History it says payment for the last three weeks was issued on April 28 but I have not actually received any money on my Cosmo account so I just wonder if anyone else is waiting or if I need to contact Liz.
I don't know if that is the case but I just read on another board that there are delays for the first transfer to cosmo account. I wonder if it's true because I just switched my next aw transfers to cosmo from paxum because my bank got slow and I need cash faster in the next two weeks . I emailed cosmo to see if they confirm what I read, hoping to get a reply tomorrow.

I got back to post Cosmo reply to my question regarding delays. Looks like what I read on the other forum was not true but I shall find out by myself on monday when I have an AW transfer scheduled.

I don't understand why SM can't offer transfers straight to bank account for non-US models. A lot of the smaller websites do it. I get my money straight into my account from both LCMS and CMD and SkyPrivate have said they're going to start offering it too although I can't get it to work on their site. Streamate is SO BIG compared to those sites, surely they should have the means to make it work?
Yeah, and they take a whopping 70% of customer spending. You'd think for that they would be offering free bank wires to anywhere in the word. Another US site I work on only charges $9 for a bank wire transfer and it's always in my bank 2 days after pay cutoff date.

I suspect its because they are so big that it would be a logistical nightmare for them to offer bank transfers globally. Having to send them out every week and deal with all that client information. I dont know for certain of course but I think of the thousands of models they would then have to do each transfer to and they would probably have to hire more staff just to deal with that alone!!

We know the bank they deal with and there are "hard limits" to how many people you can support via direct deposit with their system. We brushed up against those limits just recently and were forced to do some house-cleaning, and we're only a fraction of Streamate's size.

What is up with the lack of customer service?
I have secondary balance, tried to get verified with several different bills, bank statements etc and it's really annoying because I have money on this card which I can't access to.

Katy I was hoping to hear from you on this. Your always more in the know about these things. I remember I had asked SM why these didnt do the transfers and they told me they would like to but it wasnt possible so its good to know its a bank limit. I know they even tried to open an account in Canada so they could at least offer the transfers to their Canadian models but they were rejected on that as well.

^What extra fees to Paxum? There are no extra fees for the years you had your account active. I know that for sure. My friend owe them 45 for the card, she did not use her account for a long time and there were no extra fees. Only the card fee of $45. Someone else might think from previous post that they will have to pay fees just for having their account active and that is not the case.
EDIT: My bad, there is a Dormant Account (Inactive for more then 6 Months) $5.00 per month but my friend wasn't charged (yet) so I thought there were no fees.
I've had a Paxum account for 4 1/2 years. I'm pretty sure I only paid for a replacement card every 2 years. i.e. $45 every 2nd year... however, I just looked at their fee list and noticed it now says card fee is $45 per year. That's a big increase. It used to be level with FCP, which charged $2 per month, or $48 per 2 years, but have they increased it to double because they now have a monopoly and are cashing in on it? One day when they actually reply to tickets I'll ask them.

Okay Im not freaking out cause they are saying this is a glitch and the company has been around for 10 years previously so given the recent influx of companies and clients signing up with them as a result of the FCP fiasco Im gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say this is just a one off. Glitches can happen to the best of us. Just hoping they get it sorted in a timely fashion and there isnt a repeat.
If you needed that money today I get that this is a huge pain in the ass right now but lets not throw them under the bus straight out of the gate!
I understand u want to be positive DeepT tho it looks like this is a habit of Cosmo and not a one time glitch, several models on several forums including my local forums for camming work report this issue.
When u fuck with people's money then you as a payment processor are seen as non reliable, they getting alot of new income from all of us who uses their service, they should update and improve their system and pay us on time.
What if i had an emergency situation? Is easier to be positive when u have reserve or somebody to back u up but i dont have any of these, i freak out cause it hit me simply, i budgeted my money taking into consideration i'll get money today.
You know i like u & appreciate ur input here on SW still this is a major issue if they do this constantly, from now on i can not trust them i'll have my money on friday but think it'll happen again eventually so i better budget my money differently.

I try to understand the logic in this situation with our payments and when to expect they sort this out cause when i emailed/messaged them on their internal message system i received an automated email where they say their opening hours are from monday to friday between 2pm and 10pm GMT which means they dont work weekends and dont sort things out before monday afternoon or later in the week?!
I mean, seriously now, i get paid on friday by SM and then Cosmo blocks my money and i am stuck because u cant contact them and they wont fix their 'glitch' for a few days?!
And how is this even a glitch with soo many performers having the money blocked BUT THEY GOT THEIR $3 out of my account as deposit fee???!! There is no glitch when it comes to take our money as fees but only when we need our funds available?
The 'glitch' is a made up story i tell u ladies, i think they just use our money in between and this is infuriating, that's why i say they not reliable cause to me it looks like a practice to block our funds and not a one time glitch/ error cause of the system.
After i get my money and it happens again i am out, i hope SM finds a better paying solution if this Cosmo is such a shitty service.

So u got the 1st payment and all was ok, u cashed out ur money but the 2nd and 3rd got into secondary balance and u cant use them, do i get this right?
Pls tell also what site pays u thru Cosmo? I mean how often do u get paid? I get paid by SM once a week on friday. I dont want the next payment from SM for next friday to get stuck in there again, if they block our money like this i'll put a hold on my money on SM till i have a better solution or Cosmo fixes their shit for all clients (us).
By the way, no matter what amount i try to transfer nothing goes thru, i get that error message "invalid acceptable amount".

I'm sorry you ladies go thru this. I'm expecting a payment on monday and I'm also stressed that it's going to get into secondary balance. Too late to stop my two incoming payments to Cosmo but for the rest I'm gonna stick with Paxum. I had no problem taking out my money out of Paxum so far but since I don't have a Paxum card yet I thought I'd split my payments to not send everything into my local bank but after all that seems to be the safest way to get my payments. I rather give paxum $6+2,95% fees for a card withdrawal and have them in my bank in 24hours than have my money blocked in Cosmo fod God knows how long. Glitch or not, some of us depend on that money and it sucks.

Because Cosmo is not reliable, I've read about Monese. It works to connect it with Paxum. So apply for Monese, they verify super fast, give you a card with an actual account (Iban and Swift number, I think in Estonia) and then you can transfer from Paxum and actually cash out your money.

Interesting. I will be looking into it since Paxum card is "printing" for 3 weeks already lol. Did you apply, how long does it take to receive a card, any idea?
By "connect with paxum" I guess you mean using a Monese card as an external card?

Everybody said it takes a couple of days for Monese and that you transfer from Paxum, into your Monese account (because you actually have a bank account, not just a prepaid card).

To connect it with Paxum, it would probably work. I was also thinking about using this for sites that only pay via wire transfer now, but I'm hesitant because they have "not to use their card for adult entertainment" in their TOS...Do you think it's safe or not?

I just saw that also. Having it forwarded from Paxum to Monese I think would be ok, from a website to them, probably not. I think this goes for all the banks. My local bank wouldn't be cool with adult money, but from a payment system to them, they don't care that much.
I would use this just as a temporary option, until websites offer more. SM said in the last email that new payment providers will be added soon.
MFC already has Epayservices and Epayments, so maybe those will be available in a few weeks for multiple websites.

One of the girls in a local forum here posted this message that she got from another forum, Cosmo answered to an email with this message:

Thanks for keeping us informed Kat. I checked my account last night and also my money is in the secondary account. After sleeping on it Im a bit more pissed off and a lot less forgiving. Im not really buying the "glitch" excuse or passing it off as a MasterCard issue. I mean if its MasterCard why arent other cards being affected? We all know that MasterCard services a lot of other banks and they dont seem to be having any issues as a result of this Maintenance! It feel a bit fishy to me as well.
Also why the fuck are they responding to email inquiries with this response but they havent sent out a general email to everyone?!?!?!? Its incredibly unprofessional! Feels like they are hiding something. We should all be kept up to date on the issues and solutions of the company not find out after we email them asking WTF! When your holding peoples income its a very very serious matter and should be handled as such.
Oh but they did take their $3 charge fee didnt they!! No glitches in that system it seems!

The problem is, i dont have another payment option but Cosmo, Paxum is not a solution to me (i dont have a local bank account, no card to transfer the money to) so what else is left?
Checks? No way i'll do checks in EE, it'll take 2 months from the time SM issue a check till the day i'll be able to cash my money! Not even sure the banks here will even accept these checks.
Here on SW we are just a handful of people from Europe who are paid thru Cosmo & have issues now but the local forums are full of complaints from people in this situation, their money are stuck in Secondary balance too & nobody has the situation sorted out yet, they hold the money since a good while already (i think i read the 1st complaints dated 10th of may). This is VERY BAD news already!

Not to add too much to the fire, but the list of demands they're sending to their business partners is getting bizarre and excessive. I know a lot of models are crazy about having a tax or bank avoidance card option, but as of right now we can't justify it. Paxum and Transferwise are just too good, are cheaper, and cover more countries (not to mention 98%+ of our models). COSMO does not have the edge to justify their odd demands. We finally did get our money credited there and got some models paid. We'll keep trying but its not looking good.

I have debts at Paxum for old card and few years account maintenance (i have the account since 2011 but never received money into it), if i send money there they'll keep everything, dont even know how much i owe them; when i tried to open a new account they found the old one active with all it's debts. Back in 2011 i tried to work with another cam site that only had Paxum as payment option but the site was not lucrative to me so i never made payment on it, was not able to pay Paxum debts :(

I think in a case like this Paxum could waive fees, you might want to talk to them either by email or address them on their thread.
Transferwise isn't something you "get" (as a business), it functions as its own bank or bank translator. It does have a very nice card option now also. Streamate wouldn't work well with it directly because they put wires directly in your bank account, no need for a middle man.
Pro-tip...do not get a business account or use it to directly take client money. Personal account only. Their security and watch list is spot on, and we've already had a few models lose their accounts this way. If you use it just to "receive salary" from a business payer, you're just fine. I think they saw what happened with Circle.
