They didnt said a word , nada ! So i asked them, into the public Payment forum , that is read by all of the hosts ,telling them Cosmo got troubles and kindly asking them to find out what is going on and they sent me a message to my personal email address : " We are contacting you in regards to your forum post.

We would like to let you know that if you wish to choose a different payment method, you will be able to do it 72 hours before the pay period has finished.

In addition, if you have decided to choose a different one than Cosmo, please do it ASAP.

Nothing into the forum , nothing related to what the heck is going on with Cosmo .

okay that makes me feel better. They are just covering their butts doesnt sound like they are in the know about something. Although im worried about a locked account now. Just a rollercoaster this whole thing

Right so what is the plan then we all put our account payments on hold? I am foaming I am broke now and I work flaming hard for this money. I am trying with Paxum but as others said using it is far from easy or straightforward I have been trying to get verified forever.

Email [email protected] and ask him nicely to verify your account. He s replying within minutes :)

Ok girls we have a new issues now.. not sure if it's only me but apparently my account at Cosmo has been...locked??? I cannot login and I receive this message: Log in
"Your account has been locked. Please contact support." (like there is any support thats ...contactable)
That's the last thing I needed.
Maybe its the final kick in the ass for me to fuckin QUIT this shit for good!
Has anyone else had this happening?

I can still log in.

what's even more frustrating is that this Cosmo ghost blocked my account without even letting me know. If I wouldn't have tried to log in I wouldn't have known! And they are saying "contact support. Year right. What Support???? Does anyone know their phone number or something? I will fill in that form but I have no hope!

The call from landline went thru without the zero in the brackets so just +44 844 7744 725

Ok, my son tried both from mobile (he was not able to get the call thru) and landline, on landline he was able to reach them without dialing that zero key in the brackets. He tried several options to the last one to talk to a rep but no real person answered but was asked to leave a message. He hang up. I will edit the number in my post

I am pretty sure I saw an address which was Isle of wight somewhere. Its 6.42 in the UK so guessing its closed?

^^^ Isle of Man and the opening hrs for this number is stated on the paper as Monday to friday 14:00 - 22:00 GMT and 15:00 to 23:00 CET so it's in the schedule

Ok I called without that 0 in the brackets and it got through but no human available :( They told me to leave a message. Like.. RIGHT! You don't answer emails, you don't answer the phone, and you want me to believe you will CALL me back! Duh!

Tracked down the Twitter nothing today so who knows what is going on. Have stopped anymore money going onto mine I will have to chance Paxum so fed up. Still can't get that verified either despite emailing too arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

^^ So fun! But I dont understand why they keep saying they will be back in touch once the issue is resolved! Shouldnt they be in touch as soon as there is an issue to let us know they are working on it? Why does it fall on us to track them down with emails and phone calls and tweets? Very Unprofessional.

It's funny Indeed how they word their answers and how no site reacts on this situation, who knows what is going on but Cosmo & maybe some other entities.
No word from SM except the message they keep on the Dashboard for a few weeks now, no word from Ifriends or Imlive, i mean these are the sites i updated my payment method to Cosmo.
I really really hope they dont run with our money & will pay us very soon.

They didn't tell businesses anything about what's going on, we're learning it from ya'll. We don't have cards. I just know that they've had trouble finding a bank to work with, based on their bizarre emails to us about 2 weeks ago. I can't even speculate what's going on, but the full picture doesn't look good.

I do know something happened between the US and European banking systems, but I can't find what. All European banking partners have been asking us for various paperwork suddenly.

Katy, in Europe something happened regarding a new law called GDPR, is the law that regulates the personal data of people that companies store in their data bases, this law was enforced on the 25th of may. Is this what u looking for?

Looks like Cosmo are not transparent enough for the banks to work with them as we found out they hide the ownership of the company? And First Choice, maybe that's why they went down too?

So where does this leave us all with money in there system then? I am foaming about this had a shit nights sleep. I can't get paxum to sort out that account etiher so next thing will be money stuck in there too.

Paxum site now says up to 15 days to verify people I just am so flaming pissed off with this shitty industry. Why cam SM not just let people transfer their profiles to studios this is hardly our fault is it?

There will be a central registry where all banking clients are on a master database.

Total crackdown on crypto-currency.

All of this will make taxation infinitely easier and more difficult to avoid.

Also, Streamate allows you to join studios without issue. You take the most important parts of your account with you.

Thanks Katy I was under the impression we lost our feedback had to start again to gain our placement? I have had my account for years. As totally fed up as I am about this rubbish I am concerned with the slow down how this could affect earnings? If I was to swap how long would it take?

My account is still locked, lol. I think they decided to show somehow that they are still alive, closed a random account (maybe more) and went out for drinks with my money. Don't even wanna think that I wont see that amount anymore... I cant stand that thought so I'm avoiding it, even if its not huge, its MINE!!!
My question is...with all there shit regulations that my poor brain can't figure too much out of... is there any solution or is this all going to hell? I am also looking for an exit strategy here....

I feel sick right now. Like this post actually makes me want to vomit. I get they wanna make sure everyone is paying their taxes but why would they be restricting cards to anything? Its our money! This is just so convoluted.

Will this be true for Canadians as well?

I have to assume its gone. If they had made some sort of contact but nothing not even a universal announcement with an ETA. Not even an attempt to keep face they must not care if the business continues.

Because this payment solution was implemented quickly, there may be a delay on when you see the funds in your Cosmo account. We are working to resolve this and expect processing to return to normal schedules in the coming week or two. Rest assured, your payment will be received!"

This makes me wonder if this is the reason Paxum cards show as printing for ages. Even those who apparently had it sent, did not receive it.

And regarding that central registry, it means that authorities will have access to everyone's transactions and we won't be "undercover" anymore, as we were with Payoneer and first choice, right?

Did u change ur payment method on SM? Cause if so, u wont see that message anymore.
I changed to paxum so the message is gone, is visible only when u have Cosmo as payment method.
I noticed that too when i changed payment method.

I don't know who Paxum's issuing bank is for the cards right now. If they're Caribbean off-shore, they should be safe. Keep in mind, no solid date has been set for compliance, so every bank is doing this on their own schedule.

The idea is to eliminate as much "black work" in Europe as possible - everyone pays taxes. This is why they targeted Pre-paid card programs specifically, they know full well people use them to dodge taxes. The second goal is to keep the Russians from buying more elections through dark money and laundering.

Paxum Bank is placed in Commonwealth of Dominica. I assume that's the card issuer.

I changed to paxum so the message is gone, is visible only when u have Cosmo as payment method.

Yeah I switched to Paxum. Didnt want to but given the current climate I dont want to get stuck losing a bunch of money cause Cosmo pulls an epassport. I would recommend stopping all payments through them tomorrow if they dont have their "little" maintenance issue sorted by then.

You bet i wont let another payment to go into that Cosmo account anymore OMG, luckily i have the Paxum account active and verified so i was able to link my local card to it so on friday i will get my SM money sent to paxum.
There is no other choice so i'll take what i have. If Paxum was not an option for me now i would have put a hold on my SM payments till another option was available, no more money going into Cosmo account for now and ever i feel, even they sort things out i doubt i'll trust them anymore.

But guess what?! On local forums here people say they still verify accounts and welcome people to the site, looks like they want people to send money to their cosmo accounts so they can block that too. Give me a fucking break Cosmo, u just play us big style!

Ok, here is a message they sent to a friend of mine:

"We do apologize for the delay and are sorry for the inconvenience, however the secondary balance function is still currently undergoing maintenance as advised directly on the CardPortal.

Please note: the function will be available again shortly and you will see the notification in the portal removed once it can be used.

Unfortunately since this maintenance has to be done in conjunction with the MasterCard processor there have been several pending procedures on their end in order to finalize and enable the function. This also means the timeline is not strictly defined by us which is why a specific window of hours for completion has not been provided.

We are aware many cardholders are in a similar situation and we are doing everything we can to grant you access to these funds as soon as possible. For the moment we advise you to check your portal regularly over the next few days, once you see the notification removed this will mean the function has been enabled again.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

^^ That is what they are posting on Twitter. They also mentioned this MasterCard issue previously. The thing I dont understand is why cant they just move our money to our account?? Who Cares if there is a problem with the "secondary balance" function? We never used that function! The $ just got dumped on our account and we moved it to the card so That should be irrelevant to us. What is the connection between the secondary balance having maintenance and our money being sent there all of a sudden??

Its like they think we are stupid and we cant see this so they drop terms like secondary function and Card Portal to blur the line of reality. All they are doing is moving Numbers in a computer from one account to another. If a person never used this other function then they should be able to move the funds over even if its having some sort of maintenance or glitch so this just feels like a cover for stealing our money!

I also don't think there is any tech issue. Since they mentioned MasterCard it's obviously not a tech thing that needs maintenance. They probably try just now to get things right as they probably didn't do it when they started.

I'm stressing enough for having to receive money in my local bank, i don't need this Cosmo shit nor to read that withdrawals don't work on paxum today. This is getting me tired.

For that you'll need to get a confirmation. A lot can go wrong with one person and their card, but if its not confirmed then its nothing to worry about yet.
