Thanks for posting this! I love reading about it. Also if your club is still looking for girls, I’m definitely interested!

Where do you find temporary housing besides from the clubs? Is it something you could book ahead of time or do
You just go looking and talk to locals?

A lot of enlisted military personnel will hook you up with either roomshares or full rentals (they want to make money too and it is expensive there.) I walked to and from one rental while I was there b/c it was a trade off of affordability versus closeness to work.

It all depends on how many girls are in Guam. Sunny owns two apartments that can fit 4 girls each. The apartments are really nice, but sharing your room with another girl sucks. I moved out of dancer housing because I couldn't stand sharing my room anymore. It also costs 450$ per month which I thought was stupid. The rent comes straight out of your paycheck. So you usually only end up getting 2 - 450$ paychecks a month if you stay in the housing. You could stay shorter than 3 months, but then you'd have to pay for your own airfare there and back.

Wow! I am going to have to go back and read all of this info in more detail because there are so many good things. I have seen on sexyjobs.com they advertise for ladies to come down there and work but didn't know anyone who had done it. Thanks so much for providing so much info. It is really great! This is the one thing that was my concern was sharing housing. Do you know if it's possible to set up or find your own housing before going down there? Thanks again! This is a really helpful thread.

Sorry! I don't know how I missed seeing this before, per my previous post/question! Thank you!

Olivia,

I'm assuming your contract came to an end and you are wandering in Thailand currently. I do hope Guam treated you well and that you are haveing a super time.

I am seriously considering heading to Guam soon and would love to know if I can get dancer gear on the island. Is it easy to get shoes, fishnets, mac makeup, etc?

I need to travel light so I hope there are supplies there.

Please do give us an update about how Guam was.

Thank you for going and telling us about it. Your adventure was very inspiring.

Cheers,

Booty G

Hi guys! Sorry for the long response time. I'm actually still here on Guam. The busy season is coming up so I'd rather wait to get my flight back to the states until after. I also still really like it here. There are so many more hikes I have to go on, and it honestly just feels like home now.

To answer the question in regards to housing : Well, I don't know about the whole military thing before hand. I'm not really sure how to go about doing that and don't know anyone who has ever done that before. I'm sure people have, but I don't know a way personally? Most girls just link up once they are here and deal with the housing for 2 or 3 weeks before getting short term leases or places together. I know some girls end up staying in hotels too. Most just end up meeting each other or finding someone in the military to stay with after they are here. That's what I'm doing now. A fellow dancer at my club is married and they had an extra room, so here I am lol. I also stayed with another dancer in her extra room at one point before she moved back to the states. Military people go on deployment for around 6 months all the time and usually need people to watch their homes/apartments, especially if they have pets. Oh speaking of that.......that is one of the best ways to get a car. There is a facebook forum where military leaving for deployment rent out their cars for pretty cheaply. Rental car here are sooo expensive :(. You don't need a car, but it definitely makes living on this island more fun. Cabs are so/so price for going around Tumon but can add up.

To answer the question about dancer clothes - It's really hard to find dancerwear here. There is a dancer store downtown, but it's expensive and very limited. Our Forever 21 has a lot of dancer clothes though. Pretty cheap too! I know that's where most girls get their outfits from. Amazon ships shoes to Guam and that's how most of us get new shoes when we need them. The dancer store downtown has shoes.....but they are expensive. There is a Mac store downtown! Our Kmart also carries a bunch of your standard makeup. The military base NEXT store has every kind of makeup for much cheaper though. You can't go yourself, but someone can bring you on and buy it for you if you give them the money. Our DJ used to do that all the time. Now I usually just ask my friend I'm staying with.

Aww well, thank you for all of the kind words everyone! I hope you guys can make it out to Guam. It's definitely been a fun adventure. I came out here having never really danced before with 100$ to my name and wow have things changed haha.

Never been, but I am curious about Guam. So what girls on here perpetuate is that Guam is very heavy 2 way contact even on stage. However, someone I talked to in real life has told me that there's no touching either way at all from the stage. Idk if people are lying, these are different clubs, or it's changed at some point?
