I mean really the only way this industry will stop the downhill slide would probably be if all the girls were on the same page, and if management and owners stopped being fucking retarded with equally dumbass staff. But we all know this will never happen.

It seems that a lot of girls/mgmt/staff are doing things to make short term gains not thinking of how they are fucking themselves in the long run.

I mean to be fair there is no training in this job. And most girls who enter the biz are truly desperate and perhaps don't give a damn about anything except what can they do right now to get the money.

I really can't stand a lot of the younger girls that seem to be stripping and boyfriend shopping while at work... like wtf.

I'm personally completely burned out on guys trying to touch/grab who I never gave consent to. Sure I can accept touching is part of the job, but I can't accept these rapey molesty little fucks that dont think they should receive permission first. Seriously considering getting a vanilla job and only dancing part time idk.

IDK why everyone is hating on Millennials. I actually really like Millennials, maybe because I'm a Millennial. My best customers are Millennials because I can relate better to them. I actually don't really dance for older men. Maybe it's just because I dance in the Bay Area and here Millennials make a lot of money. A lot of lonely geeky guys who just want to hang out with a pretty girl and make them feel special.

times are changing because $20-$25 for a 3 minute tease can be better off spent elsewhere

its easier to meet and hookup with people these days, older men didn't really have that option years ago,

now they can go on POF or tinder etc for free,

free internet porn, heck even netflix only cost $10 bucks a month

when you compare the price of a lapdance to other forms of entertainment its outragously expensive!

And what is considered better is based on want... Some guys prefer women who take the time to look more appealing and value their time.

... You speaking of broke, cheap guys who can't afford to spend or spoil/take care of a woman

You have to understand the male mindset.

No man wants to "spend or spoil/take care of a woman" without getting "something" in return(strippers, cam girls, sugar babies). Even men with careers/owning a business(es)/trust fund babies/ etc.

In today's society and economy, this mindset is on overdrive. When it comes to women, it's the actual product: woman and companionship for a period of time with sex involved multiple times, or the service: sex, or any sex acts that involves an exposed erect penis(entertainment-value). The old times...

All we provide is dancing naked for free and get "brownie points" for it, either be a $1 tip or a compliment, and overpriced "teases" for a very, very limited period of time(entertainment-value).

It doesn't appeal to men of today, especially the regular Joes, the majority, who are working minimal wage or working less. There is a market for "teases" but it'll shrink even more with the current trends governing the growing male minds.

Only thing is to take advantage of men who don't know any better and are timid. Reason why strip clubs will market themselves as "adult nightclubs" more in the near-future due to the changes. Creating a recreational atmosphere but with dancing naked ladies wanting "brownie points" while collecting house fees and bar sales.
