Took 2 days off & did nothing but sleep good, eat well, hydrate fully, meditate fiercely, & relax. As a result my RHR has dropped down 42 bpm yesterday & this AM. Fitbit shows an avg of 49 bpm which includes all sedentary HR activity.
But taking 2 days off really helped me de-stress.

Girl, you rock! I didn't even know a human being could have such a low BPM rate, maybe only astronauts or pilots ... mine is usually around 80-90 no matter how much I try to relax (ok, I agree I live in a stressful environment: inlaws, kiddo, hyper hubby). A few hours of camming usually gets my BPM to 120, especially if I don't make good money. Ugh. I go to the gym, do yoga, eat healthy, no smoking, no alcohol and still, my heart goes crazy. At times I am afraid it won't handle more camming. I wish I could stay at least at 70 bpm somehow, without having to take meds...

^^Girl, thanks! But I'm a Spinning instructor (indoor cycle). I've been training regularly both aerobic & anaerobic for 6.5 years. I am an athlete. DO NOT try to compare. I'm abnormal LOL. Seriously, I taught 12-15 classes a week for 5.5 years until Nov last year. My heart is massive as a result.
BTW, you're normal & healthy with a RHR of about 80. & right on for training with your full plate! Having a family IS stressful then add in camming & holy hell LOL.
You know, in addition to regular training I eat super heart healthy. Lots of extra virgin olive oil, salmon, & avocado plus sleep 8-9 hrs a night & drink damn near a gallon water a day. It's my full time job haha.
But thanks & remember not to compare. I'm single & have nothing but time on my hands. I'm actually jealous you have so many ppl in your life. You're blessed.

MEditation didn't go as expected today. Unfortunately, I had a bad day, I failed at something in my personal life and that shown up, I was agitated all day long and meditation didn't help either. But I am gonna meditate again 2-3 more times today, untill I manage to calm down.
I didn't reach my steps goal either, because I had a busy day and couldn't do any exerciuse, but no biggie, after I am done with work today, I'll go on a jog.
Meanwhile, I saw why my resting BPM was lower last year. It was because I was doing lots of cardio and Hiit so... back to it!!!!

^^Yes, HIIT will strengthen your heart. I train in power zones 4 & 5 which are Lactate Threshold & Danger Zone. Those zones put the right stress on your heart. With proper diet, hydration, & rest your RHR will lower (heart becomes stronger.)
Girl, Bravo for even meditating longer than 10 min while upset. That takes discipline. I hope you're ok. I know how personal setbacks can disrupt your vibration.
How was that jog?

I've made sleep my priority for the last 4 days. I turn lights off at 7pm, watch an hr of stand up comedy, then put on meditation music while reading with blue light filter on my phone til 9pm. At 9pm I start my deep sleep hypnosis album then fade out. I've been getting 10 hrs & stress is next to none. Waking with a low RHR makes me happy. I'm meeting my sleep goal.

I did my workout, before work. I woke up late, my schedule is a little messy right now, but I realised that I have to do my workout no matter what, no matter if I start work 6 hours later than usual. I am just gonna do my shift regardless.
Even if I was late, after workout I washed my hair, scrubbed my body, styled my hair... I took my time, I was like: I was supposed to be at work 6 hours ago, meh, I'll take my time, I'm late anyway, if I login, at least be fabulous 8)
Did this workout, btw: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/cardio-hiit-workout-butt-thighs-abs-ultimate-workout-for-belly-fat-loss-no-equipment
My fitbit stats for the workout: 51364
I noticed that working out, really works like meditation for me. It boosts my confidence higher than any self love mantras. Those are helpful too, of course, but just saying, I feel like a Goddess all the time :)).
I didn't meditate yet, because working out increased my BPM and I was also having an excitement boost and I knew I won't be able to sit still and calm down ;D;D;D
I will meditate in my work breaks. I am gonna do a 8 hour shift today.

I went to the country side that day, sorry for not answering, I haven't visited the blog in the past 2 days. I played with the dog and achieved 5k steps. I can count it, right?:))) I haven't reached my steps goals in the last 6 days, but at least I was a little active hehehe.

Mine is neither. The Fitbit shows 265 calories burned, when with my old Polar watch i was burning at least 350 calories in a 40 min session.

This is actually what I have started doing. I used to run around like crazy trying to get on cam at a certain time. Now, I get up, do what I need to do, work out, etc., and then I get on cam whatever time it happens to be. I cam until I hit the goals I have set and then I go to sleep and do it again the next day. It's a lot less stressful to just go about my day and not worry about what time it is.

Exactly, I try to get rid of that guilty feeling and just move forward from where I am left. I know I need a fixed schedule, but meanwhile, I am just gonna do this, because it's frustrating to skip over my workouts because I am late for work, I promise myself I workout tomorow in time, or after work and never happens. Not anymore. Working out is prioritary and doing my hours, no matter what hour i login at.

Took a shower, ate a breakfast (yes, at 3 AM) and now i am online, pulling a long shift, because monday i will be off and I wanna make up for it.
I don't think I can take the 10k steps theese days, because I will keep pulling insanely long shifts (10-14 hours). Next week I'll be on period and I don't work on periods, so I'll make up in advance, by working hard for the rest of the week.
I'll take my steps when I'll be off!

That has always been my strategy. I cam when my energy tells me it is time otherwise it is not going to go well. What I found is because I have random hours, I have regulars no matter waht time I get on and when they do see me it is a treat so they grab me up! As long as one is getting on, a routine does not matter. JUST KEEP GETTING ON!
I have struggled with routine my entire life. I make it 3 days max and then I have to go with my flow and that is why I cam. I cannot function with someone telling me to be here or there at a certain time... though I wish I could.

That camming sucks right now thread is a good example of how negative energy can be contagious and how thinking negatively can produce more negativity in our lives. That thread should be closed, not a sticky. It is not positive or helpful. We all need to vent, I get it but jesus...so many girls complaining yet truly doing nothing about it or to better themselves and live in a more positive state, only spreading more negativity. If you want to have a bad day, check out that thread. If you want to have a good one, read the camming rocks right now thread. And see what a difference this makes.
I have to agree, I was so not happy when it became a sticky and had no idea why on earth it ever was. I don't want to see it in my face every time I log in. Nasty vibes, staring right at you.. yeah, that is exactly why I come to a forum (sarcasm).
There had to be a good reason but I do not agree with it, in fact, do the opposite! Camming rocks should thus be a sticky. I try to read it before I go on because I have posted in it and I know the energy is amazing in that thread. Everyone cheering for each other, love it. And it makes my mindset say --- seee..... there is money out there babe, go get yours......

I got a massage Saturday and it has TREMENDOUSLY helped the stiff muscles I get after a long session. Just a suggestion for those who are too busy or financially strapped, a Hitachi is actually a good self massager. I'm looking forward to putting in more hours once I get approved on a dozen or so sites and it's majorly reduced my fear of hobbling around like a stiff, old lady by the end of the week.

^^I have a friend who gets a massage once a week for self care. She loves them. I've thought about doing it myself once a week. Touch is super healing. & it's interesting you mention the wand as a great massager as I use it in taboo RP to start with massaging certain body parts before using it as it's intended.

So this week is going splendidly and I just wanted to share... I've been eating super clean (yummy home cooked healthy meals/snacks), cut out alcohol (which was much needed - was definitely imbibing way too much lately and my body was getting mad at me), been drinking ~3 liters of water everyday, and getting back into yoga and low-impact cardio after being too sick/injured to do much physical activity for several weeks. Holy moly I feel fantastic. Super clear headed and focused. I'm also on top of all my chores/cleaning around the house - it feels weird not to have anything I *need* to do! I've been spending my time cooking/meal prepping, reading, and working on arts&craft projects. I've also been really enjoying silence. I'm not usually big on meditation but lately I have been feeling sensitive to noise - normally I always have music, podcasts, or tv on in the background, but this week it's made me a bit anxious, so I find myself just opening the window and zoning out while listening to nature. It's so calming.
Suffice it to say, I'm also having a really good week on cam and I seriously hope this positive streak keeps up!

& I can attest to good energy affecting sales positively. When I'm on top of my self care game I attract more clients. Right on!

So today is starting out killer. I slept 7h 50min well, had coffee, 10 ounces water, and repeated 15 min positive affirmations then trained at the gym indoor cycle for 39 min. The whole session was an hr but I'm not counting warm up and cool down plus stretch.
I'm super proud of today's training session as I was able to train upper aerobic zone (80% of max hr) which is a must as I'm cutting calories and eating low carb. I can't train anaerobic (high intensity or HIIT) and eat low carb; I'll just fuck myself up plus can't make gains that way. I'm currently trying to lose a stubborn 8 lbs I've been wrestling with for about 4 weeks (I lost then slacked and gained again ugghh lol).
The session felt damn good. I was breathing deep and rhythmical also sweating plenty. My Fitbit doesn't track my sessions accurately for indoor cycle (Spinning) so I'm at the mercy of my old Polar chest strap which is only half great as the watch needs replacing...but I was able to get decent feedback from the indoor bike I trained on (it shows all averages for your ride: speed RPM, power in watts (super important), and HR).
51389
While the session felt good and was exactly what I need to accomplish my goals, I realized what 2 months of irregular training and missed training sessions have done: loss in power and strength. I used to train in the upper aerobic zone with quite a bit more power. Today my avg power was only 90 watts. About 2 months ago the same exact training session yielded 100-105 watts. Bummer, however it's to be expected and I'm in a phase of aerobic base building. I'm giving myself a month of regular (5 days a week) aerobic training sessions to build my base back up before killing any HIIT sessions. "Patience my dear" will be my new motto.
As soon as I got home I made a super clean meal. I'm keeping calories below 1500 until I meet my weight goal. Lightly fried up 2 cups power greens, 6 small spears asparagus, and can of sardines in a tblspn of extra virgin olive oil then added half a medium avocado. Washed it down with 40 ounces water.
51390
Self care on point so far. I have my regular shift of 6 hrs to complete soon. I'm planning to meditate on abundance during one of my breaks and have a total of 120 ounces water today (80 is my bare minimum without exercise and 40 for my training sessions) plus stay below 1500 calories.
I'm gonna do it haha.

I had a reasonably good day with a bit of stress involving one show. Had to balance chakras as I was feeling overwhelmed and self critical. That session almost put me to sleep. I really need to get good sleep tonight if I'm gonna be able to cam tomorrow in good spirits. I am, however, in a better mood since that long meditation session.
You can find the whole guided chakra balancing session here:

And my stats show heart was seriously stressed in the beginning of the session but I was able to calm down towards the middle:

Oh yeah, I love when I break a sweat from yoga. It's a great feeling. Yoga Collective has a great selection of vinyasa and power flows that definitely make me feel like I'm getting a substantial workout in. I also noticed they recently added a pilates section but I haven't checked it out yet.
My favorite teachers on Yoga Collective are Anaswara, Kyle Miller, Mary Beth La Rue, Steve Jones, Tony Guiliano, and Travis Eliot. I'm pretty picky about it and I'm happy I narrrowed it down after being subscribed for like 3 years. They all have (in my opinion) a uniquely engaging, personable teaching style that keeps me motivated to stick it out, especially for the longer 40-60 min classes. I also find that all of these teachers have a knack for explaining how to properly get into a pose. Anyway, check em out :)

Hello everyone,
I hope I’m posting this correctly lol I’ve been on here as a “lurker” for a minute, but recently to post about self care and self love. I’ve been working as a cam model for about 3 or 4 months now, and some nights are amazing and fun and profitable. But some nights are slow, and my social life suffers, and I feel isolated. How do we care for ourselves as sex workers when we have to operate mostly behind closed doors? I’m sorry to ramble, I’m just struggling with the idea of taking nights off to just allow myself the peace to rest and self love I know I need without feeling guilt. I have been self employed for a while now and have always struggled with time off when I dictate it and am hoping for advice if anyone has insight. Thank You <3

^^Both Cutie & I feel the same: 2 full days off for rest & relaxation.
I cam a day shift so I can do happy hour 6pm-8pm Thursday nights with friends. I too isolate. I'm an introvert & like alone time, but weekly meet ups are necessary for me to function healthy.
Choose 1 night a week for social hour. It's part of self care: social medicine.
& for self love: positive affirmations on self-compassion help me.
You got this doll. You care enough to reach out. Good job.

All cm models have been trough this phase. I guess this is the bad part of this job. You get lonely, at one point you don't feel like socialising anymore (cause u socialise all day on cam anyway haha). But it is ok to take days of from time to time, or work one hour less to go out with someone.
I persoanlly have very few friends because I work my ass off. But I do try to go out with the few friends I got. It is something like Sasha said in my case aswell.
Camming has also helped me see peoples true colours and read them better. So many are assholes, so I don't bother with the ones I feel like it is not worth it (so super few friendssss haha).
And yeah I do feel guilty for taking days off but evan if you feel it, take it anyway (when your logic, your brain says you need it - take it).
I just wanted to write this so you know it is normal. What you are feeling is normal and ok. You are not alone.

Self care on point and thank goodness cause there's been plenty of stress on cam this AM.
While I only got 6 hrs rest, I did feel good when I woke. Had coffee as soon as I got up, repeated 15 min wealth and abundance affirmations, then did a 20 min yoga session. It was from The Yoga Collective, online subscription, called Soulful Sweat Sesh 20 which included a good amount of core poses. Yowee my abs...I found them LOL.

I've eaten super clean today and I'm target to keep calories below 1500, also had 82 ounces water so far, plus listened to 1.5 hrs of binaural beats.
But legit: men on cam have behaved badly and I had to block a handful of members which is something I rarely do. Thank God for the block function.
I'll be balancing chakras today FOR SURE. I'm emotionally exhausted with 3.5 more hours to cam. EEEEK!
Update: DAYUM! Was so close to 1500 calories. Went over a tad bit. Ugh LOL

About to get on cam to finish off this 6 hr shift. Cleansed all Chakras in a 22 min meditation session. Interestingly sacral & throat chakra appeared tinged when visualizing them (Chakras for emotion & communicating boundaries). All is well & I feel ready to, like Nikki says, MTFM (MakeThatFuckinMoney).

Just did a Ho'oponopono negative energy clearing meditation to a peaceful serenity gong track. Clearing negative energy is something I try to do weekly.
During the clearing session 4 phrases are repeated:
Please forgive me.
I'm sorry.
Thank you.
I love you.
These phrases are a call to the Universe to eliminate negative energy. You can direct it to an individual or make it general (like negative energy from potential cam clients).
Here is the track:

Today is a day off. Taking 2 days off is the best mental health wise for me. Today is just a day of rest and relaxation plus an opportunity to run a couple errands then possibly clean. Goal however is to just chill.
This AM started off great: 7 hrs good rest, coffee, a banana, 15 ounces water, 15 min of repeated positive affirmations, and a really long indoor cycling training session. I trained on my own for 29 min with very good results: upper aerobic zone, steady power, and a good amount of speed. Then I stayed on the bike for an hour long Interval class directly after my training session.
Good news is I followed plans and trained aerobic in the beginning; bad news is I pushed really hard during the class and trained a good amount in power zone 5 (danger zone=anaerobic). As a result I had to consume a good amount of carbs to replenish and recover.
This is the training session only (does not include warm up which was 7 min long). Improved speed, improved power, and maintained upper aerobic zone (80% of max HR):

The total time for exercise today was 80 minutes (does not include cool down plus stretch which was 10 min). Since anaerobic zones were engaged I had to eat more carbs. This is the meal:

I'm kinda feelin myself LOL. I plan to meditate to balance chakras this afternoon which will be a long one: 40 min.
To those camming today: may the force be with you!
Namaste <3

What if I challege you to do that workout and come up with some stats? When you have time, of course!! Since you're a trainer, I am curious about your performance and what levels I could reach. Should be interesting!
Girl, I trained power zone 5 a lot today which is HIIT. I'm gonna try to do that training session using the bike. I haven't seen the video but I'll try to use the bike to reach the peak zones. I'll update with the HR stats.
Haven't seen you on the board. Hope you are well.

Starting the morning off right: coffee, 15 min wealth & abundance affirmations, 15 oz water, & a sweaty 20 min yoga sesh.

Anonamiss, giiiiirl: I did Short, Sweet, & Sweaty #1 & fuck it was hard LOL. I was sweaty & struggled on Warrior 3. Damn, hella balance issues plus my core is weak. While I struggled a bit, afterwards I felt accomplished. Thanks again for the tip. Anaswara is a top notch instructor too. Her gentle guidance helped out heaps.
I have a 6 hr shift planned & I'm feelin ready to sell, sell, sell :)
Update: mood dropped first hr, so a negative energy clearing session was a must.

Now I feel much better.
