Had a Reiki session today that was long overdue. Intuitively I knew I was fucked up. Well, everything but by crown needed work especially my heart.
I don't know what happened, but I totally fell apart talking to my childhood best friend. I was yelling, screaming, crying & asking the dreaded "why me?" question.
I haven't ever really fallen apart like that on her before. I'm usually so put together.
But I was this monstrous mess & carried on for like 15 min. She just listened, added it's ok, I think I understand.
I guess I had to purge. It's all been hell for like 4 months & it finally came to a head. My eyes are puffy, my head hurts, & I'm tired AF.
I wanna give up but I know that's not an option.

Slept poorly last night and didn't even wanna hit the gym, but I made myself go. I could only manage 30 min mostly aerobic on the bikd as it was too hard to get into zone 4. I was weak, but it'll do. I also did 30 min strength. Arms, back, and legs.

Heart still weak. Made it to the gym, but couldn't get into zone 4 without so much struggle so I settled for higher aerobic zone 3 heart rate training. 20 min was my max and let me tell you, I was tired!
Then 10 min legs for strength.

I feel well, but just tired. I think it'll be a lil before I can hit zone 4 again on the bike, but I'm ok with that as long as I still show up.
Still having my Skinny Greens daily along with a smoothie for lunch and a sensible dinner lower carb. I'm drinking about 90 oz of water a day.

Thanks! I'm ok just Reiki still working on releasing toxins. There was a lot of work to be done on my heart. It's normal to feel tired a few days after a healing session.

Got the FitBit Versa 2 to track Spinning as it has a preset and it's a dope smart watch so it does all kinds of neat shit. I mostly want it for sleep, scheduling, Alexa, and heart rate training. Does it's job.
Trained with a new partner. This fella is sweet and young. He wants to get back into fitness so I suggested we train together as the gym is right by his place.
He did good. I did good. I feel well and accomplished.
Heart rate training went well and I was able to reach zone 4 no problem. I'M BAAAAAAACK!!! lolollll

Still going strong with Synctuition meditations daily. I've skipped a few here and there, but I meditate with it practically daily.
I love the app and the results are astonishing. I've been lucid dreaming at an alarming rate with each afternoon meditation. Sometimes when I've trained real hard and meditate at noon I fall asleep about 10 min into the meditation and have a lucid dream.
Can't be happier with this program. IT WORKS!!!

Weight issues: thyroid issues. Wow, no wonder I keep gaining despite all good efforts. I will be taking a thyroid supplement & continuing the clean diet with greens & exercise.
Damn, I thought I was going crazy: 20 lb gain in 4 months despite all good efforts? Hypothyroid issue.
This sucks, but I'll be proactive.

Got some pretty heavy news last night and my training partner totally flaked. The only thing I could think to do was stick with my routine.
I got to the gym and did what I know what's best and rode as hard as I could given the circumstances.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2012. Took the med, but became a fitness instructor: lost 90 lbs through exercise, clean diet, hydration, & rest. Dr took me off meds & tested me for a year. Thyroid recovered somehow. Must have just been an infection.

Very stressed out currently. I'm in a life situation that is very difficult to deal with. I do not feel like camming at all and I have to as I've now incurred an additional $300 expense per month.
IDK how to deal really. I'm scared.

Just woke from another lucid dream. I fell asleep to a Synctuition meditation again and found myself with the lucid body sensations that are a tell tale I'm going lucid.
This time I asked a question to learn a lesson. I was curious about success. I asked how I could become the most successful. The answer was so cliche: follow your passion. UMPH lololll.
Then I chose to fly. Last time I flew I failed and kept slowly floating down, but this time (in regard to a post I saw recently about arm placement when flying) I remembered the flying post I saw and stretched out my arms like Superman and caught the wind flying higher and higher. Haha. It worked!
I feel incredible! I feel in control. Last lucid dream turned into a nightmare so I've been hesitant to try again...but this one did not disappoint.

^^Thanks! Yeah, I really needed to make $1k+ this week and that's not going to happen due to how shitty this week has been and now contest. UGH.
BUT I got some good news and I feel a whole lot better about the situation. I still have to come up with $300 extra a month...but I'll figure it out.
Went to gym this AM and did 40 min HIIT on the indoor bike. Power training and it felt sooooo good to get shit off my chest and on that bike!!!

Got a tension headache yesterday while camming. It's brutal as I feel stupid irritable as all get out. I realized what may be causing it.
Logging off for a bit to get some powerade and magnesium supplement. Did some yoga this morning to relieve the tension in my neck. Hopefully with some rest and hydration I can get back online today

News from Dr and it's not my thyroid that's the problem...it's the elevated triglycerides which are a result of drinking 2 glasses of wine a day. Well fuck, guess I can't have red wine everyday now if I wanna be healthy and slimmer. DAMN!
Training partner C came through and we trained for an hour today.
I did 30 min HIIT on the bike with 30 second attacks to zone 5 and 30 seconds rest to zone 1. Really felt that today lollolll.

Then C and I did arms and core. Damn, was hard AF but he kept me going. I was shaking my head on the last 2 sets as I did 10 reps x 4 @ 70 lbs on ab crunch, 20 reps x 4 @ 85 lbs for obliques, and 10 reps x 4 @ 30 lbs for arms. Strength was not fun, but I feel good getting it done!

I struggled through training then went home, showered, found myself without power due to a storm & napped for 4 hrs.
I've been awake 2 hrs just lethargic as shit! On my period too. Idk what the fuck is up, but I'm ready to sleep again.
Dude, I'm totally wasted & I ate good today. Totally baffled.

Overtraining will fuck you right up. It fucks with your hormones in particular cortisol and adrenaline. You don’t want to fuck with your hormones or your sympathetic/parasympathetic system. It’s a mish to fix

1 hour day 5 times a week is pretty standard workout regime? I just saw shasha’s post that she did 30 mins of cardio and 30 strength. I’m not sure what you’re talking about?
It’s just best to honor what your body wants and needs. If your definition of overtraining is doing too much for you than I can see that. My definition of overtraining is doing serious harm to your body from over working. The average healthy person doesn’t have to worry about over training. I’ve worked with professional athletes of all ages. I was worried about it too. It’s really hard to workout too much to the point it’s causing serious harm. The body can really adapt with the right workouts, recovery, and nutrition.
Always listen to your body though.
I got a massage today, I worked out, I did some financial self-care. I just need to do a meditation and go to bed now and do it again tomorrow.

I was a fitness professional for almost 8 years & know overtraining can really mess you up. It happened to me twice. My resting heart rate is ok currently & I don't have any other symptoms.

Completely recovered from whatever the hell happened yesterday. A total of 11.5 hrs rest with proper hydration and clean food helped me out majorly.
Trained an hour today: 32 min SPIN HIIT and 28 min Strength. Today was legs and DAMN do they feel sore hahahaaaa. Totally smashed my goal.
FitBit recommends 150 active zone minutes a week. Well I'm already at 335 and my weekly goal is 400. About to smash the shit out of that goal this week as it's only Wed. Feeling real good right now. Lots of energy and positive mindset.

Intermettint fasting is easy for me. I have been doing it for years. Dry fasting is not an option because I have renal insufficiency. I get deyhdrated very easily.

IF is great! I used to do fasted cardio when I taught classes and it was awesome. I don't do it now tho. I do my greens in the AM with tea that has honey before cardio, but replenish thoroughly after my training session.
IF really kept my weight maintained for a long time.
I couldn't imagine dry fasting tho. I have to drink about 120 oz water a day with my 1 hr training session. I can't stand dehydration. I feel it bad fast when I don't drink when I need to. It's gotta be dangerous for you then.

I have gained about 10 pounds since I moved to the bottom floor from the top. I need to start climbing the stairs again, even though I don't live up there. People might look at me strange but that's okay. haha

I’m such a bitch when people wake me up after camming. I’ll go to bed relatively early, wake up “early”, workout, and then cam. I made sure I hit almost half my goal by Wednesday. Otherwise I don’t have the motivation to cam for the rest of the week if I’m “behind” I’m going to doing some meditation on money blocks tonight.
With my physical health, I’m just trying to practice radical self care. Thinking about seeing my doctor, but I still feel “yellow.” I’ll wait till I feel “green”. I’m going for a walk and foam rolling when I get back.

80 ounces so far today and I'm feeling great. The more water, the better I feel. I rarely drink alcohol but I drink 3 cups of green tea with honey every day. I do walk around my complex when then weather permits, plus I have an exercise bike in my apartment.

Sleep has been so much better this week. I'm getting about 8 hrs like I need. Woke early this AM after 8 hrs rest and hit up the gym early so I could stream a lil earlier.
Killed it at the gym today. 32 min HIIT on the indoor bike. 30 sec zone 5 then 30 sec zone 1 and repeat. Damn it felt good. I did 20 min strength: arms and core. Totally smashed my active zone minutes goal of 400 a week!!! Currently at 437! I feel badass haha.

I have slacked on meditation for a couple days. Goal today is to meditate at 12pm. I cannot flake on myself when it comes to meditation. Gotta get it in.
Since Dr mentioned cutting back on wine I am NOT drinking it daily. I'll do a cheat day once a week and have a couple glasses, but daily red wine is a NO NO from now on. I WILL lose this 15 lbs NO DOUBT!!!
On day 5 of new greens and my bowls are SOOOOO healthy. I love Beyond Greens. It has Matcha which gives me energy without the jitters. It's top notch.
UPDATE:
Meditated, took the rest of the day off & played bar games & had my 1 cheat day with a couple glasses of wine.
Going to bed early for gym tomorrow then plans to stream & hope for the best.
I really hope tomorrow is decent. I need a miracle.
