Self-care is knowing and accepting certain things you just can't eat. I love spicy foods but my asshole is so sensitive. It's on fire when I take a shit after eating spicy foods.

I am back here after a hiatus. Been going through it with anxiety and depression the last few months. But back now. Made some lifestyle changes. Quit the Red Bull down from 1-2 cans/day to 1 can/week (maximum) now. Eating better, thinking more positively, being less sedentary and on a wellness journey lately. Got a blood panel a couple of weeks ago and my liver function is off. So that motivates me to live a more healthier lifestyle. I have to retest in two months so I am curious if it improves.
I am spending some time (too much time lol) on Tiktok and I came across the parasite cleanse. Apparently we all have parasites in our intestines, responsible for all kinds of ailments, and I have a lot of these symptoms. You can eliminate them with a herbal supplement (https://www.amazon.com/Zahler-ParaGuard-Digestive-Intestinal-Certified/dp/B016LBZSDK) . So, I bought it. But now I am afraid to do it! Because you can get symptoms when the worms like die in your body. And its gross. Anybody ever did a parasite cleanse?

I know. I am 5 days in now. Not feeling 100% well because of the die off symptoms. I won't go into detail but there IS stuff coming out of your body. You can see it. But I havent seen anything extreme like on these pics (yet) luckily. Would freak me the fuck out.
Yeah I have never been to Latin America. But I have been to South east Asia and also got sick there from food. Never eat burgers or salad there. They wash the veggies in water which contains diseases there. So I won't be surprised if I HAVE these monster parasites.
I have a really weird symptom. First night I took it I had a tingling sensation in the back of my neck, on my head.... Now I have a mild headache and these sensations are back. Maybe I have a parasite in my brain? LOL

Even more nasty reviews, LOL. For those who want to try it: be aware, it is DISGUSTING. I am used to a lot of supplements but this is the most rancid thing I have ever had to ingest. You can smell it through the bottle once you have opened it for the first time. It tastes like strong alcohol with cloves and rotten trash. I do a little bit of green smoothie in a shot glass, then I add the supplement and I shot it. Green juice is a treat compared to this shit.

Still maintaining 158 lbs, but it must be mostly muscle as I'm fitting into most of my old small dresses & workout leggings.
Totally fine with it. Still training SPIN 5-6 days a week at 5am, same clean diet, same hydration, same supplements, like zero wine, 1 cheat meal a week, & happy.
Meditating twice a day, sleeping 7-8 hrs, & napping after a lot of hardcore zone 5 training 6 hrs into the day.
Mental illness stable AF & I'm grateful AF!!!

Met a new Spinning milestone. My power has improved significantly. Today's 45 min ride was mostly zone 4 (hardcore/lactate threshold) & zone 5 (max effort/V02 Max).
I maintained an avg watts/power of 122 for 40 min. At peak performance my highest avg watts for 50 min was 144.
Just last week I tried & maintained 117 avg for 40 min. Getting very strong & proud!

Maintaining 158, but def smaller. I am fitting into some of my XS tops and jackets. So crazy I fit the XS workout jacket now. The last time I had that thing on it was so tight I couldn't even zip it up. Now? That fuckin thing zipped up so easily and there's room in the tummy area. Totally stoked about that.
On a total whole foods plant based diet. I cheat maybe once a week and hardly drink wine. I have about 120-140 oz water a day, train indoor cycle 5-6 days a week for about 45 min to an hour. Meditating twice a day and taking naps most days I train really hard. Sleeping about 7 good quality hours a night and mental illness is stable AF. Soooooo grateful.
Supplements: ashwagandha, apple cider detox, green tea extract, Beyond Greens, and now organic beet.

Loool Marina! I had to quit them spicy foods and coffee because of cystitis. Btw, feels fine without coffee, and I ditched teas, too. I just buy frozen berries like cranberries etc and add hot water and drink it.

Well, no wonder I slept like shit the other night: caught a slight cold. Thank fuck my immune system is strong...I've just been tired.
No gym for 2 days is ok. I'll rest all today, meditate, & eat well. I'll be back in the gym tomorrow I'm certain.
1st cold since Dec 2019. Feelin kinda blessed.
UPDATE:
This cold turned into laryngitis haha. I've never had it. I have great energy tho. Went to gym yesterday and today. Just can't talk. Funny thing is: I'M STILL MAKING MONEY :D

Took SPIN class today and stayed aerobic. Fuck, I got a cold and although I don't have breathing problems I'm not about to fuck with my system...so I did some work but not tired myself out. I've been aerobic 4 days now. When my voice comes back I'll do HIIT hahahaaaa.
Diet right, training good, and I lost 2 lbs. Weird cause when I was first feelin sick I was eating ALL THE CARBS and NOT training. STILL lost. Hmmm, looks like my metabolism is just fine :D

So since I've had laryngitis I've trained low intensity, but after 6 sessions I had a feeling today I could push. Well, damn...did I ever! The SPIN class was dope. New instructor with great coaching ability & excellent music.

Met a real cool Army vet who is "pursuing" me. He's taken me out three times and yesterday I said "if I can send a shot of your ID to a trusted individual you can come over". He was like "well, what you gonna do with my info?" I was like "make sure I don't get murderlized" hahahaaaa.
Anyway, yesterday was real cool. He behaved himself and didn't touch my feet or try to kiss me AND he has a foot fetish lololll.

Hmmm, really really odd. This cold is crazy. I stopped coughing about 4 days ago (it was keeping me up at night). Well, last night it came back. Fucked my sleep all up. I went to bed at 8pm and woke at 2am, stayed up 1.5 hrs, then slept til 6:30am. I wasn't even trying to go to the gym lololll. Good thing I didn't cause all the sudden my resting heart rate shot up 3 BPM since yesterday.
What gives? I'm healthy AF and the cold symptoms were really mild, but it's lingering for all this time. I have had really good energy tho which is weird.
Gonna just STFO today and tomorrow. May not even go to gym and train tomorrow.
Self-care hardcore. Already meditated and will again.

In an attempt to combat stress, I've meditated 3 times today. I'm happy to report my vibration has stayed high & sales are good.
I'm on lunch. I just did a negative energy clearing session with positive results: low resting heart rate.
I'm having veggie spaghetti & 20 ounces of water.
I'm at low goal & intend to exceed high goal with this positive mindset.

I need this thread so bad today because my anxiety is through the roof.
Some days I'm pretty fine but today while I was at Publix, I experienced major anxiety attacks, almost had to ran out of the store.
Just started going to therapy and it has helped me tremendously but there are still episodes. I suffered badly from 'Persistent Pretty Disorder'. That's when your anxiety is caused by being pretty when people stared too long.

i am so wound up with adrenaline from my shifts that i havent slept even decently in 4 days. i sleep 1 or 2 hours and then toss and turn
i fall asleep at 6 am and wake up at 3 but i dont sleep at all. i never fall deep asleep.
ive tried Melatonin in several doses for more than 8 days and its useless.it just gives me a headache.
tonight i am going to try some cold flu tablets that always work.;
i know i shouldnt but , this cant be healthy so many days this tried and hyper.
i am a mess
i think its the bright lights and the adrenaline.
i also have been weighting myself before and after a shift, and within 2 hours i have been sweating off sometimes up to 1.5 and 2 pounds of water.

Now I am pulling these super long shifts that end up being succesful and I can't get any sleep anymore, especially because I also workout after work. I get exhasuted and still won't sleep. I get in bed and toss and turn and it's annoying. Melatonin tablets still work for me, but I gotta take them like 2-3 hours before sleep, if I get them within an hour, they don't work for me.
No wonder when I wake up, I struggle to drag my ass on cam, because, guess what, that's when I actually have the deepest sleep.

Sleep issues are the worst. I have to get good sleep as I have a mental illness. Poor sleep for a few days can wreak havoc on my mental health. I take Benadryl at night about an hour before closing my eyes. I black out my room, lay down, play self-love subliminals set to 528hz, read on my phone with bluelight filter on, then after about an hour I close my eyes, start my gratitude meditation and can fall asleep fast.
When I'm highly stressed however, it can sometimes take me an hour to fall asleep. I'll be doing my gratitude meditation that long. If it gets that bad and a different meditation doesn't work...I get up and do something out of my room: dishes, clean, yoga, shit anything for about an hour then try to lay down again. That helps.

I hear this. I can't workout at night cause then I won't sleep. Melatonin doesn't work for me anymore. It used to, but I had to take it an hour or two before bed also.

I've been journaling for a while when having episodes...long before ashwagandha and my entries then to now are like night and day. I'm so much less scared. The panic used to reach epic proportions and now I just feel uncomfortable. I can look myself in the eyes in the mirror and tell myself I truly love myself, cry a little, meditate, then I'm all fine. Holy fuck...a miracle!!!
Also, I'm now 152 lbs, but an XS top and med/lrg bottoms (leggings). I actually fit my old Spinning workout leggings too. I'm like so totally stoked.

So during my shifts I use bluetooth earbuds paired with my laptop and play a very long YouTube LOA playlist with many vids. This one in particular I use for a couple cycles when streaming to keep a high vibe.

I highly recommend Ashwaghanda for stressful times, anxiety brain, etc. It really helps level me out and take the edge off. It's a good supplement to have on hand take when you got 50 million fires to put out.

I've been meditating almost a year with Synctuition and I've been lucid dreaming at an alarming rate (4-5 times a week). Each meditation is about 25 minutes long with binaural beats, ASMR, 3-D audio, gamma wave frequencies, and incorporates voice. The meditation journeys are UBER relaxing and often times I'll fall asleep meditating and have a lucid dream.
I usually wake around 3:30am, train from 5-6am, and meditate around 12-1pm. And like clockwork I'll lucid dream every afternoon. I don't always fall asleep during the meditations. Sometimes I'll fall asleep afterwards. Either way, I have a lucid dream almost every time.
Everyone has the ability to be aware during dreaming and with practice can control the dreamscape. I often say to people: "you know how you really look forward to that action movie as you can live vicariously through them? Well, in a lucid dream you are the action star."
Anyhow, it's not just Synctuition that has increased my ability to lucid dream so often: I was lucid dreaming a lot with other meditations that I used on a regular basis.
Meditation is magic and this is just one of the things meditation does for me.

I'm gearing up for the SM xmas contest. I plan to stream my ass off, so for today and tomorrow I'm gonna treat myself like a goddamn princess: just self care & indulge a little. Sometimes self care looks like a couple glasses of wine while soaking in a bubble bath with Sade playing then stuffing my face with carbs afterwards hahahaaaaa.

Oh this looks good!!! I'll definitely try to hit the 400+ calories range in 40 min spinning sessions. Altough, you're taller than me and automatically burn more in same time. Still worth a try to improve myself in time and see how far I can go.

Thanks sister. It's according to heart rate and age, but yes...on Fitbit: weight is taken into consideration. At my weight for my age I can do this. At your age and your weight you might be able to reproduce the same.
Let's see hahahaaa.
I'm still off having a blast. I have eaten good, meditated, cheated, and had wine. I'm in bliss hehe.

I *highly* recommend yoga for self care. There's some amazing classes for neck and traps and any other discomfort and it seriously has been life changing for me to incorporate it into my everyday routine. It's so key to pay attention to your breathe and move, even if it's only for 10 minutes.
Sha- can you post your youtube page so I can see your meditation/affirmation playlists :) THANK YOU!!!
