also, I hear my sick roomie getting sick in their bathroom, it's right next to mine!
He ordered from a sandwich place, not saying that's the problem, but he went from eating soup only to that, it was too much too soon.

I got the $600 stimulus money. What a weird feeling to get "free" money from the government.

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if you all remember me but I occasionally post here, I’m not very consistent with my posing sadly.

Have you tried the Amazon Prime contractors? Better than using your own car and putting a bunch of wear and tear on it. You might also look at some of the apps like Instawork. There’s also BlueCrew, but that tends to focused more on skilled trades and labor, whereas Instawork deals a lot with hospitality and such.

I got two retainers from customers yesterday.

1k ( between both )

:)

It seemed like it was just sitting and sitting and waiting and waiting. Now I feel inspired to do more advertising. The most profitable one came from a FaceBook special and ads I paid to push out. So I'll keep on pushin ' that one out with the same offer .

Covid just killed my stepmother. Descanse en paz mi madre.

It was too much to hope I wouldn't lose anyone to this horrible pandemic.

I'm still numb. My family members are freaking the fuck out right now. Covid was easy to laugh about when it wasn't affecting us directly.

I feel really really bad for my stepsister, she was so close to her mom.

& Obviously my poor dad will take it hard. I truly feel he and my stepmother had the soul mate bond going on. On a lighter note, he'll probably outlive his wives by years since I don't see my mom lasting much longer.

A small comfort is my dad's town (where he lives) is very close and wonderful and they will be supportive of him through this hardship. A saving grace.

It's hard. Everyone copes with grief differently. Some go through the normal process and others do what is best. Tried to work on the day of my grandpa's passing and tried to pretend it didn't happen. Of course mom sent the nurses phone video of him where the nurse was trying to contact her before he passed. It's like FUCK....I was trying to be okay on day 2. Some people handle this so different.

Same happened to me. I like the card better.

I'm not doing so good. Now-ex bf just texted me and brought me down. I don't want to get into it, but I blocked him. Don't need the drama. I'm crying now. Why can't guys just be considerate and respectful? And prioritize me and communicate???

I still have to find a new home.

Physically I'm good. Workouts are paying off.Gonna keep it up.

I am horrified at the slow rate of moving these vaccines out .
I’ve never been politically active. This might tip me into some sort of activism .
I feel like I want answers about this.

It’s disgusting to slow the economy making people wait anymore.

Our family saga- Covid killed my sweet stepmom, and my dad has been hospitalized for days with Covid. He's getting better & should be out of the hospital in a couple days.

The silver lining is- the family pulled together and is making sure everything is going to turn out allright, and my stepmom's funeral will be a nice, socially distanced Roman Catholic service. Wish I could attend but looks like my brother will be going instead.

So it goes. Even in this strange time to be alive, life goes on.

Ugh. Even worse because of how the vaccines are designed to be “10 doses of vaccine per vial” for both Pfizer and Moderna and when vials leave the ultra cold temps, there is a 6 hour window to use it all up before it’s considered not effective. And due to how regulations are with who is allowed to get it at this time, product is being wasted. It’s pushed at the moment to make 5 or less doses wasted every time. But doing that all over with a bunch of living facilities daily and that all adds up.

In the state I an in, it was allowed for a brief period of first come first served for people within the company and not directly involved with living facilities can get vaccinated on a first come, first served basis. Because hey, how else to use something up that is about to expire anyways? But then the state reversed it and now it’s LOL NOPE fuck your first dose to the few individuals who already received it and might get their second one WAY late now. It’s one thing to decide employees of a company isn’t the best priority, but c’mon then, have some guidelines of where *else* it can go. Any arm is better than the trash.

That being said, I’ve noticed at least within my tiny bubble of where vaccinations in living facilities are taking place—it is getting more organized more with logistics and taking off more and there is more staff members who are on board helping with rollout. I assume it’s like that with other places too. I think a lot of kinks will be resolved soon enough however. Kinda like Covid testing was really tough for a while but it’s easy to get now.

On a personal selfish note though, seriously debating how long I’ll stick around with that after I get my 2nd vaccine dose though. Which will be happening pretty soon lol. I wanna get out of this state for a while.

I seriously hoped Covid wouldn't affect me directly. (For what it's worth, my dad and stepmom were trying to social distance as much as possible, but it turned out a relative of stepmom had Covid and did not know until a day after he spent time with my folks. So no one can really blame him, he didn't expose them knowingly.)

New strains have been circulating so unfortunately for the forseeable future, Covid is going to be a bane on society. Yes it's depressing.

I’m still working through my health issue. Praying and meditating. My Dr. was kinda of a dick, so i have a new Dr. He’s one of those people that doesn’t have a high emotional intelligence. As a nursing student, I’m sure I’ll have to deal with dismissive know it all white male men, but I just shook it off.

I believe in miracles. I believe my body can heal itself if I give it time and the environment to do so. He was negative and said I wasn’t getting younger so don’t expect to get any better!!! I’m only 35! I’m not 50! Even though 50 is awesome. I’m just saying I expect to live relatively pain free until my 50’s and I don’t think that’s a crazy expectation. I don’t expect to do gymnastics, but I think I should be able to be active. The problem is our modern “sick care system” and stress. In other countries that do back breaking labor they don’t have back problems! I seriously think my pain is from stress and trauma. I’m not going to quit seeing Dr.s, but I’m doing a lot of my own healing work both physical and psychological. Maybe I’m wrong, but the no-placebo effect is just as strong as the placebo and telling a patient they won’t get better I think is....wrong. Men don’t understand this shit. They think women are crazy with their woo woo healing treatments. Not all cures come in a prescription, sometimes healing is more emotional, but you know men they think emotions are “crazy.”

Also, I’ll find out if I’m staying here for school next week. I will know if they have a spot or not, I’ll be glad to have some clarity either way.

stay tuned to another episode of the life of an ex stripper

I heard that the second would be worse, and that seems to be the most common thing. Idk why, but I felt it way more after the first dose, and it was way more mild the second time. But then again, it’s likely I already had covid so idk if that affects anything. I had Pfizer as well.

I’m waiting for the nursing department to admit me- this week they are sending out emails. On one hand I want to move, so I hope I don’t get it. But on the other hand I really want to get into the program ASAP. I’m refreshing my email every minute.

Well I’m pretty sure I’m on the stand by list. Damn it! Looks like I’m moving! Boo or yay? I hate this place, but I hate moving too?

I’m kinda relieved to know one way or the other.
