I’m going to start a daily meditation sitting in the desert with my hands on the land. I’ll visualize the land giving me what I need ( it’s just money lately but maybe eventually it’ll be something else )! I’ll try it over a few days and firmly set that intention.

^^^^ I don’t know the science, but I’ve heard it actually good to walk barefoot outside.
I went out with a friend and got a cold. We wore masks, but I still got sick. I don’t think it’s covid-19 (if it is it’s mild) My friend told me I’d be down for the count in 24 hours if it was covid. I took some cold medicine and feel fine and it’s been over 24 hours since I started feeling run down. I am getting tested tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll know by Monday (it’s suppose to be a 24 hour test). Gonna get some good sleep. I hope I feel better tomorrow, so I can work.

I heard something about standing in bare earth (obviously not concrete) and sun gazing at certain times that is safe for your eyes? Sun gazing correctly is supposed to be therapeutic or something?

^^^I don’t know about that! I remember a doctor telling my ex when you go outside to make sure you take off sunglasses, so the light gets into your pupils. Maybe that’s what you’re talking about?

I'd be afraid to do too much sungazing due to it causing cataracts. The sun was probably awesome for our health before we destroyed the ozone layer. Now that we don't have that protection we have all these skin cancers and things happening.

Might just be a sinus infection. I had a Covid scare weeks ago and it was just that, not Covid.
I'm doing ok. For me 2021 is a continuation of 2020. Yep. Urgh.

I hate to bitch but 2021 has been incredibly difficult.
Life won't ever be the same without financial things turning back to normal and not knowing the timeline for it is anxiety from hell.

^^^Me too. I’m done with 2021 already...lol. I know things will get better, but it’s taking soooo long. We’ve been waiting over a year already.
I’m a pro at isolation and avoiding people, so I’m kinda doing okay. I literally feel like all the events in my life have prepared me right now. I’m a pro at dealing with trauma.

^^"I'm a pro at dealing with trauma." Girl, SAME. I'm fine with being isolated, probably because then I know the likelihood of me getting hurt, screwed over, taken advantage of is greatly reduced.

I was out there again today !
I dug my hands deep into sand to connect with the Earth .
My PUA will go through, a day job customer will pay a retainer, and I’ll have the energy and patience to finish real estate school. These are my income intentions. These will come true.

You will. if you don’t give up and you get up every time eventually you’ll manifest your dreams.
I’m setting my intentions that my body will heal by June, I will pay off my credit card debt before I move, I will move in October, and I will be accepted into nursing school next January. I don’t have the desert...I could make snow angles if I want to connect with the earth...lol.
This too shall pass. I just didn’t think it would take this long. Dr. Fauchi said by they will be getting the vaccines out and they are already working on boosters for the variants. Slowly but surely life will get back to normal.
Update: I tested negative. Just a regular cold. Thank god. I couldn’t even leave my apartment for fresh air. Which is what I’m gonna do now. Free at last!

So anyone in real estate if you can help, what are the pro/negatives of refinancing? I'm not sure if it's a good idea?
I put 105,000 payment down on 501,000 cost of the house in 2016...(dunno if that matters) not including closing fees. I'm not sure if that helps or if the current value matters as well? I'm no realtor and just don't wanna make a poor choice?

^ The main thing is if you can get a better interest rate. Rates are good now. Typically better than what people were getting in 2016.
The lower rate over time can pay it off faster or even lower payments.
I never suggest extending length of time on a loan FYI.
^ It’s tempting especially now but then if you keep extending you never pay off / pay down your property ! IF they suggest that tell your mortgage person you specifically are shopping for the best interest rate options NOT loan extensions.

I did that meditation over the weekend too! (Although for me it was more just sitting in a foot of snow with big gloves on...) Next day I got called in to cover for a PT at another facility, and it’s now looking like I’ll have steady hours there for several weeks at least. Which is exactly what I needed in the short term. I had been meaning to find your original post about it and tell you that it works!

It seems I was told it would lower both the interest rate and the length of loan to 25 years instead of 30 years. I just remember reading somewhere a while back that you shouldn't refinance and it scared me to consider it.

^^^you should join my feminine finance class...we just talked about this. It depends on how much the fees are and how long you plan on staying in the home. That’s what she said. I’m sure there’s more to it. I don’t own home.
Pm me if you really want details it’s 2400 a year but I think it’s worth it. I got a discount of 1400. I don’t know what promos they are running.

You'll have to pay closing costs again, so it depends if you'll keep the house long enough to allow the closing costs to be worth it.

Holding up better now that I'm in a clean, quiet home where late night parties aren't being thrown and I don't hear coughing all over the house. My anxiety levels are down I haven't even felt the need to smoke weed. Day 10 of being weed free, though I fouled have used some yesterday with the ex landlord being an ass..

It should be 1400 whenever it gets here. Hopefully soon. It’s going to the senate now and then if they make changes it goes back to the house to voted on. They are wanting it to pass before unemployment runs out mid March.

OK
So I woke up today with my soul burning in anger ........
I had to make a to do list and do yoga at the house in between each item just to keep from melting down, ugh.
BUT ...... I just looked AGAIN at my PUA and it was finally approved !!! OMG . I had to come report here. My job has made me about $500 for all of Jan. and Feb.
^ Obviously can't live on THAT so I'm thrilled to get it approved !! I knew you guys would get it so I had to report asap !!

I hope they do. Sucks how they have to drag everything out when other countries have been receiving $2000 a month this entire time.

First of all, all of you dancers out there have my greatest sympathy during these hard times. Hopefully the worst is behind us now.
This year has been different, not different as things progress in a normal uneven pace, but different on a completely new level. Suddenly the conditions changed in a way no one had seen or experienced before. Add a great portion of uncertianness..
Personally I’ve managed quite well after a shocking start. Luckily things turned out so I could do more or less all my business online. They got the competitions going again during the summer. After a while I managed to get 70-80% of my pre-covid income being close to even at this time. Working a little more hours at my 2nd job, in which actually allows me to do some of my main work simultaneously, has been great.
I'm happy to see the end of this now, and I'm having my first workshop (posing/comp. prep seminar) in a long time this weekend.

Has anyone noticed a shift in motivation regarding PUA ? I was talking openly about it with my partner today and just confessing that I'm less * motivated * due to the $511 a week ( which is enough for my basic bills ). I am having moments where I'm following up less with sales leads ect. knowing I have a " cushion " . I have never had any type of assistance so I'm sure I'll be back to myself and hustling away very soon but things are also not entirely BACK day job wise ..... it is still admittedly slow.
I think I just feel guilt at times not getting in and FIGHTING for these sales like I always would have prior to PUA stuff.
I'm kind of interested in some *cash only* type of work currently and not really paper trail type stuff which I guess is a grey area ethically but also ...... I just have never had this and maybe never will again. :/

I might start a new thread for this.
I feel it's so informative.
Two things ..... an extension of PUA benefits ( the $300 supplement is STAYING until Sept ) .
^ That amount makes a big difference over weeks.
Next ..... the first $10,200 in benefits in 2020 is looking like it isn't subject to taxes . That is a big help too.

I don’t think anyone here is gonna judge you. Maybe you deserve a break. This pandemic has been exhausting. It’s just capitalist programming making you feel guilty for not working all the time. We’re human beings not human doings.
I’m happy vaccines are coming out. I’d like to go back to work and make money, but I just don’t know how comfortable I am with coronavirus being in a club. The vaccine aren’t 100% and with the variants it’s hard to know how much protection they offer. I’m thinking most people will be okay, but I’m not most people.
I miss dancing, but I don’t miss the drama. Also, I don’t do well with the locals-we just don’t see eye to eye. I end up saying something to piss them off or they say something to piss me off. I like talking to people from all over the world from the safety of my home. I just need to make “stripper” money with camming and I’ll be happy.
im still alive so that’s good!!!!
I’m still getting the unemployment but it sucks cause there taking 200/week out for an overpayment so I only get 374/week which ain’t shit. Been waiting for them to waive my overpayment cause it wasn’t my fault but ive been waiting forever and lots of people were denied so that sucks, I’m gonna need to start making $ again. 374 was a shitty shift dancing during the week, super broke ish

I was doing experiments with very low cost living pre-covid so the timing worked somewhat for mine ( shared living vs living alone was big ).

I’m getting that feeling I can’t do this semi - retirement much longer haha.
I’m glad PUA is a back up but I don’t think I can just call $2044 a month “ good “.
I’m putting some promos on my day job website ( they get the best deal for mating mostly in cash ) , prob dancing soon, and finally choosing a broker to start real estate . I do realize if any significant paper trail income comes in I’ll lose PUA but maybe it’s just time anyway.
I just felt it strong today ( the desire to level up haha ).
Like my day is 2 hours at the gym , getting a sandwich , two hours of computer work !
I still need three hours of something to do haha.
^^one month on pua is like 1 good night at the club! Lol swear idk how IÂ’ve managed to live like this, IÂ’ve gotten the rent and utilities help tho thatÂ’s also helped but still living like this is super restrictive $$wise

Right ?!?
Ha. That’s why I’ve spent the last 24 brainstorming on cash on my income.
I worry my day job won’t be fully back for 2-3 months , and a real estate deal could take 30-60 days until I see a check.
I really need cash , ha.
I’ve got my stripper bag together finally lol.
Im just so curious what I’ll actually encounter.
Do guys have any money after 2020? :/

it's been so dead lately. i thought with people getting the stimulus checks, it would pick up, but it hasn't . alot of the issues for me are technical difficulties on some of the sites I work, like the desktop versions won't work even though they say they do, and then i miss out on chats or vice versa. it's really starting to piss me off. I also run an etsy store for witchy stuff and it's dead af too .

Better. I get my 2nd covid shot in 10 days. My kid can get his shot as of tomorrow, so I called him today to let him know to schedule an appt. The book I'm writing will be available on Amazon in May so I'm excited about that. After I get fully vaccinated, I'm going to start working in LA and while up there, I'm going to pass my book around to directors , actors, and producers I'm working with.
