Girl... so curious where and when you danced in Portland because I danced there recently the last 4 years and these customers have been the LEAST generous with stage tips. Daily entitled asses sitting at the bar for free, watching the show for hours without tipping a dollar. I tried several clubs and watched it happen everywhere to even the hottest hustlers. Maybe it depends on what someone considers generous but the lack of stage compensation is one reason I got so burned out. I strongly do NOT recommend Portland, for the record. Yeah house fees are lower in some places but there is also no cover charge so you can literally have homeless people wander in, buy a PBR and stare at the stage for hours without tipping you. It's bad.

Lmfao homeless dudes wandering in?! Seriously?! I’m sorry but I’m dying

I shit you not. It's ridiculous. There are a few clubs with door staff and a cover, but most are just bars. Anyone can wander in, buy the cheapest drink and park their cheap ass as long as they want.

Hmm. To be fair, I might have had new girl money advantage. That and my looks are more “exotic”. It wasn’t a huge leg up tho because I’ve made more money in other places. It’s just where I’ve had the most stage money on average. And I don’t really have pole skills.

...If the club is stage only once I guess back tho, I guess I’m going to have to learn pretty quick.:O

What club did you like best if you don’t mind sharing?

What clubs didn’t you like if you don’t mind sharing? Idk I’ve never danced there but follow a ton of pdx girls on social media. Though they are at the better known clubs on the good shifts lol

Well I had mixed feelings about Lucky Devil and Devils Point because management and the girls are all really cool on day and mid. Downside is the cheapos can come in whenever and money was very inconsistent and it can take a year if ever to get on night shift.

Rose city was similar as far as customer base and crappy stage tipping, but it was at least easier to sell dances because they had contact dances. They are closed though now apparently.

I did hear the $$ is better at Stars, Rouge, and Casa but I never could handle the high hustle clubs. I auditioned at all of them but didn't stay more than a couple shifts. I am a stage girl ar heart and Portland isn't set up for me to pay my rent that way. I got spoiled starting out in a peep show where you got payed hourly to just dance, no hustle. Those were the days...

Acropolis was better.with stage $$ on mids, but again very inconsistent and you might be on stage for 40 minutes of an hour due to their rotations and if someone calls out.

Honestly I never was cut out for the sales aspect of this job. It's why I am now semi-retired from adult work. But that is another story.

Thanks for all the info! It’s always been my goal to move to pdx (for personal reasons) and work there while I get my shit together or whatever but shit keeps coming up and knocking me off ugh

One of the clubs in my city just opened last night and all the Karen’s called the news, the health department, the police, etc and they had to close again today lmao they were mad AFFFFFF. They were freaking out on the Facebook posts comments “omg how can you open this filthy place but not our churches?!?!?!” It was the best hour of my life reading them lose their shit. Well we just entered phase 2 and phase 3 all the clubs can finally open. So close!!!

Maybe mid-June the phase 3 will come-
