Ha last week I experienced the "spaghetti legs" feeling of too many leg days in a row.
I skipped a couple workout days but caught up the next day. I'm going to start to write down workout info to see what is making a difference.

Did nothing today, as I had put on tanning spray. and didn't want it
to sweat off.
Tomorrow I'm down for a big walk in the morning. Going to try & get
out before 10 when the sun hits. I hope I am able to get out of bed &
moving by then. Then something else perhaps yoga later.

Progress not perfection. I QUIT setting unrealistic expectations that made me feel like a failure. I set small goals everyday and then I’m so excited when I achieve them. Then the next day I set a little bit bigger goal and so on and so on. It’s helped me so much not only with my fitness goals, but just with LIFE.
I worked out at home and modifying the exercises. I ate clean today. My desire to eat bad carbs is gone. It’s so self-defeating to workout and eat like shit

Exactly! Celebrate the small victories that will keep you pushing further (one extra rep, holding a plank for longer, being able to run for longer, taking less breaks, etc). And also, don't forget to take progress pictures, every month! You have no idea how helpful they are.
And ditch the scale :))
Focus on the benefits of working out and eating clean. I am not 100% eating clean, but I am trying to stay balanced. We need to help our bodies, carry us on those two legs, for the next 50- 60 years, at least. So, self love is actually fueling the body with good quality food, and help it trough movement, to keep it in shape.
In my case, once I started to see exercise and clean eating, as a form of self love and respect towards my body and not a form of punishment for how bad I treated it, things started to look better and I didn't hate working out anymore. Now I am trying to not let a week pass, without working out at least ONCE. One time, ina very busy week is better than nothing. To give my body it's portion of self love and maintenance.

Today's workout:
In the morning (wich was after my night shift on cam, at 6 AM), went for a 1 hour walk in the park.
That's when it's the most beautiful, almost nobody, except a few walking their dogs, jogging or doing their workouts (I noticed a big increase of personal trainers and groups of 2-4 clients, working out at that hour, in the park), the air is fresh and a little cold, is not humid like the evenings.
The fitbit shown a 300 calorie burn.
I slept really well after that walk.
In the evening (after I woke up- i work the nights, sleeping during day):
60 minutes of total body cardio& strenght.
6 minutes of warm up: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/easy-warm-up-cardio-workout
16 minutes of boot camp cardio (or hiit): https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/total-body-boot-camp-round-2
24 minutes of total body strenght, with dummbells: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/kellis-superset-total-body-strength-workout-calorie-torching-muscle-building-fat-burning-workout
13 minutes of cooldown and stretch (really helpful, since I am a sedentary camgirl): https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/cool-down-workout-cool-down-stretching-routine
The fitbit shown a 350 calorie burn. Cumulated with the morning walk, it means 650 calories burned.
NOT BAD!
Considering that (according to my fitbit), in the sedentary days i am only burning 1500 calories, now, at the end of the day I have burned 2060 calories, in total (being sedentary, in the rest of the day). In a very active day, aka, working out+ being active (having to go out for shopping, run errands, etc), I end up burning about 2500 calories.
Wich shows why I am putting weight fast. My metabolism is slow as fuck. I literally have to eat like 1000 calories per day, to be in deficit, if I don't wanna work out. Wich is.. bad.

I worked out everyday last week. I'm thinking about get a gym membership and just wearing a mask and gloves It's always a risk, but going to a gym is therapy for me. I need to clean up my diet. I did pretty good last week, but there were a few times I cheated. I'm going to prep my food today and make a decision about the gym tonight.

Omg I haven't worked out for 6 days!!
But meanwhile, I did go out 3 times this week, in the morning, for a 1 hour brisk walk in the park, that burned me about 300 calories, wich is the equivalent of 30 min cardio.
Today I must work out after work, no matter what!
The point is that I have time, but this fucking gaming is making me choose the console instead of turning the laptop on and using that hour to work out.
Then I complain I am not as fit as other girls.. LMAO.

Sooooo after going over my documentation for 2 years, I discovered it took 2 years of workouts and walks to keep 4 pounds somewhat permanently off. I'm getting more muscular (great) but have to accept I'll never be able to "fit into my high school jeans" as the saying goes.
Ladies enjoy being effortlessly thin in youth, that doesn't last for most people.

As an older lady I can attest to that. Eating healthy helps me maintain weight, but to lose weight and look hot I have to watching everything! No creamer, no Starbucks, nothing processed, and no added sugars.
So speaking of diet. My goal this week is to clean up my diet and stick to the plan. I need to max out at the gym. I’m gonna have to wake up at 5 am in order to get there before all the germy people get there and germ up the place. I do wear a mask and gloves, but I have to do everything to minimize the risk.
People look at me stupid for wearing a mask. Whatever. At least I won’t be on a ventilator. I think people look at me like it’s a political thing. It’s not, but if they want turn into that that’s on them. I’m just trying to be safe while working out. They can kiss my ass IDGAF anymore

Since Fitnessblender has a huge sale on the workout programs, I purchased the FB30 (round 4) one, wich is only 30 minutes a day/4 weeks. Wich is what I need right now.
It was only $4.5 and I can reuse it forever, so it was a pretty good deal.
I started day 1 today and it was a 37 minutes Hiit workout, with warm up and cool down included. Since I am on period and also on a pretty strict diet, I did everything kinda cardio-ish and low impact, didn't bother pushing myself.
It felt good, tho:

Change your perspective. Instead of saying "I am mad at myself for slacking and now I have to work out", better think "I am mad at myself for not giving my body such a beatiful treat: a workout, to keep it strong and healthy!".
That's how I am trying to see the things, when I feel lazy or guilty for being lazy. Makes working out more easy :))

My workouts haven’t been great. I paused going to the gym since the virus is out of control where I live. My place has a low maintenance gym. My goal is to plan a workout Sunday with the equipment available and log my macros. I have tendonitis, so I have to keep it light. I’ll probably focus more on my diet since I have to go light on the weights. It hard to stay consistent with my workout with everything being so uncertain. I figure I’ll do a 4-6 week workout plan and reevaluate.

After 2 weeks of no workout, I have decided to get back. I have been dreading my ass and I realised I am not in the mood for a traditional workout, or at least, not so often during the week.
So I was scrolling trough my beachbody account and I realised there are a few dancing workout programs and I stopped at "Cize".
Maaan, i thought it would be easy.
Considering that I have been doing street dance in highschool, i thought I am still skilled, but nope. I am stiff ans fuck and out of sync, moving like and idiot :)))
35 minutes into the workout and I was sweating like crazy, puffing and losing my breath.
The program is fun, because you put a lot of effort, but by the time you look at the clock, you're done.
Basically, the first 30 minutes you're being taught the moves and repeating them over and over again and at the end, connect everything and do the full dance, 3 times. Really fun!
This is a demo of the workouts:

They don’t want you to know their secrets. This book literally tells you all the secrets. One thing I will say. There’s no such things as a quick fix. Anyone who sells you that is full of it.

So, I haven't worked out since my last post. Except some occasional walks in the park, my execising was zero.
The results? Huge back pain, feeling tired and sluggish all the time, sleeping longer hours and taking me 3-4 hours to fall asleep.
I have decided that enough is enough, put my workout clothes on and did a 45 min workout.
It was low impact, but it was hard. I had to massage my calves muscles every few minutes, because i was feeling muscle cramps forming.
But I was feeling so good after I finish the workout. I slept better. Hard more energy.
So, yeah, I guess I shouldn't make this mistake anymore. Just force myself to work out, for the long term benefits.

I have been working out about 2-3 times a week.
Now I picked a new habit, whenever i watch Netflix or Youtube, i do march in place instead of laying on the couch.
In a 2 hours movie, marching in place burns me at least 500 calories. Yeeehaaaww!!!
Sometimes I even run in place. I do have a puzzle mat and it helps me with my joints. I manage to burn 700 calories while alternating marching with running in place and watching Netflix hahaha!

I’m doing resistance band workouts this week with 30 minutes of cardio afterwards. I also started reading school books on the treadmill after class. I actually get my reading done faster that way. I’ve been maintaining, but I desperately need to go to a real gym. I’m waiting after the Holidays cause I don’t want to bring something home to my mom. After Christmas, I’m making a come back. Until then I’m just doing at home workouts.
After my injury, I should be focusing on mobility instead of strength. I’m sure by January my injury will heal. I’m just grateful it’s getting better not worse! That was scary not being to work let alone workout for a couple of months.

I’m getting really frustrated. I set these unrealistic, perfectionistic goals and then beat myself up when I don’t achieve them.
With my workouts I want to at least do one boot camp on Monday and then if I’m overwhelmed I can just do some moderate workouts for the rest of the week, but at least start the week with an intense workout.
For my diet, I’m going to eat vegetables instead of snacking on unhealthy treats. Also drink tea and water instead of sugar drinks and coffee.
Those seem like small achievable goals.

I’m quarantine thick. Which thank god I look good thick. Honestly until the new year I probably won’t count my macros and workout like I should. I’m eating healthy and working out, but I still thick. Looking good at my age takes discipline. Which I can do after the holidays, but until then I’m trying to eat healthy and exercise.
So apparently I gained roughly 40 pounds during quarantine but since I've come to this realization I've lost 19. Another 25 and I'll feel somewhat like myself again. My current total goal is to lose 55 pounds but I'm breaking it down to small goals.

My plan is to workout in the morning every day. Something I am guilty of is waiting until I feel like working out, and oftentimes that never happens so I end up skipping workouts. Tomorrow I'm going to try it fasted too because it takes a long time for me to become hungry after I wakeup so if I can train myself to just do it on empty stomach it will make things a lot easier. Plus I feel like early workouts would wake me up better.

This thread is what I need. It's extra great because it's accountability with fellow sex workers. When a big selling point of your business is your body, it is best to look your BEST! Plus, if you look good, you'll feel good. When you feel good, you'll perform well!
I hadn't exercised in so long. I'm ashamed. I used to do 2-a-days in the gym + pull a full shift at the strip club. My lack of fitness these years has kept me from camming or doing other sex work bc I don't have the energy. Camming can be exhausting physically AND mentally. I used to be an all-day girl who was in her bag. Let's got back to that in 2021!!!!!
I've just completed my 1st workout of the year:

I have decided to keep a better count of how much I eat, vs how much I burn, to lose weight.
I still need to lose 10 lbs (5 kg) and even tho, i count my calories, i barely pay attention to how much I burn.
I am a very sedentary person, lately I barely workout and obviously, my fitbit shows I am burning like 1300- 1500 calories a day (mostly 1300 when i am super lazy). No wonder I am not losing weight. Since, let's be honest, you can't always eat 1200 calories tops. Sometimes, you go in 1300-1500.
So, since the fitbit shows in real time, how much i burned, I can also track my calories out, to create that 500 calories deficit. Best time to look at how much i burned, is obviously at 11:50 PM of the day :)))) Also, fitbit sends weekly spreadsheets with how much you average burn per day, based on your last 7 days, wich is super helpful. In my lazy weeks, my daily average is 1300 calories, in my active weeks, my average per day is 1800 calories. By the way, Fitbit doesn't accurately show the calories burned (the error can vary between 100 to 300 calories +/-), so, everything I track it's being taken with a grain of salt, mostly for orientation and just see an overall habit.
So, I did the next thing:
I have created a 30 days spreadsheet, where I will put calories burned, calories ate and the difference between them, at the end of each day. That way i can keep a better track, to be in that 500 calorie deficit, all the time. Or, as often as i can.
Untill it becomes a habit, after that i will ditch it.
So, according to my calculations, to lose 1kg (2 lbs), I need to burn 7700 calories. That means, I need 2 weeks of daily 500 calorie deficit.
To lose the entire 10 lb/ 5 kg goal, I need 3 months (2,5 months if i am being super consistent, wich won't be the case, lol).
So, basically, if i eat 1400 calories today, i must make sure i burn at least 1900 by the end of the day, to be in deficit.
If I eat 1200 calories, i need to burn 1700 by the end of the day. And so on.
Having all of that on a spreadsheet, will help me see an overall progress, thorought the month.
Another good example is the cheat days. If i consume 2000 calories in the cheat day, but i only burn 1500, I will be one day behind with my progress, because i have extra 500 calories to burn.
I know it's a long post, but if you made it till here, then thank you, haha!
I know it sounds complicated, but it's not. Most of what i said was just examples, to understand better.
I just want to keep an eye and make sure i have a 500 calorie deficit almost daily, that's it :))).
And this is a picture with the spreadsheet. I am starting today. Today is not gonna be that accurate, since i haven't wore the fitbit for 2 weeks (caused me an irritation) and i put it on my wrist towards the end of the day. Also, most of the times I will workout after 12 AM, so the calories burned are counted for the next day. That's why it's good to look at the weekly average calories ate vs calories burned, rather than daily. But i will come with further progress.
I have only made a 30 day spreadsheet and my goal is to lose 2kg (4 lbs). If i am being consistent, i make another spreadsheet, for the next month.

I don't have the best handwriting here, it was made in a rush, to not lose the idea, lmao. For next month, I will upgrade it.
Speaking of colors, I will write in green, if the calorie difference is at least 500 and in red if the calorie goal is under 500.
Congrats for your progress! Yes, probably your body has gotten used to the new routine, that's why you could workout on a fasted state. I'd also do it after 2-3 weeks of consisten workouts, not after a long lazy break.
Coming right behind you, haha!
