^ I was so curious where you ended up !
Masks are still very much a thing here ( barf ).
I am here now trying to "vacation" and the masks really throw me off honestly even for a personal trip.
I don't want to be a total diva ha but I am hoping to not come back until mask requirements get removed.

Probably won’t be that much longer - when I go out to fetish clubs people are extremely lax about wearing them. Tons of people just take them off as the night goes on lol

Thanks guys for sharing the good the bad and the ugly of Vegas auditions! I know it was an adventure.

Is the club Sophias sketchy as fuck ?
I didn't *see* anything out right happen but I just got weird vibes. You know what I mean. Lol.
Pre pandemic I recall there's a lot of Cuban and Black women there. And the manager there suggested that I not dance there...

^ It's funny. I was JUST getting ready to post a " it's very slow and weird " warning !! ^^^
This info is SO spot on . Scores just 8-9 days ago told me to come back at 1.a.m. and I'm like " uh ... no " lol.
What kind of policy is that anyway to not audition early ?
Same experience at girl collection. I drive up in a sports car ready to work and they said to use the website. Lol.
I might send photos ( haven't decided ) but who they can’t audition a girl STANDING THERE and ready ? :/
The Collection normally hires girls that look like video vixen so I'm assuming they want to see photographs of you to consider entertaining for professional athletes, rappers, etc.

Hey loves I’m looking to go to Vegas for a couple days and also dance while I’m there. Are the clubs at full capacity? & is there still a mask mandate? Also any clubs that you guys may recommend? & are you required to get on stage in Vegas cause I’ve heard no and some I’ve heard you have to pay to skip. I would truly appreciate any suggestions or advice. I will be there next week.

hey look back at my comment that i have made a month ago. idk your looks and physique, so you may have a different experience than me but alot of the clubs weren't hiring/weren't giving away sheriff card referrals.

Yep, I just moved here in July and got the run around at first. I’m black and on the thicker side as well (5’6 150 Chloe Bailey complexion).
I ultimately got hired at CH3 but I got lucky, when I called the girl on the phone straight up told me “it depends on the managers mood” if I’d get a referral and to try any dive first because it’s easier. Sure enough, that was the first thing I was asked about when I came to audition.
Palomino I technically got hired at but the vibe there is weird. The door guy joked about them having “a lot of chocolate already” and almost didn’t let me in until he realized my friend works there.
Rhino I got turned away almost immediately. The manager didn’t hold back and told me while I was pretty but needed to lose 20 pounds.
I can say CH3 money is great, my first night made 300 and been consistent however it can get ghetto af quick.

Auditioned at Treasures last night, got hired. Manager looks at you for like 2.5 seconds and you can tell by the vibe what the answer is (well, i could?). My sheriffs card is expired and he said come back on Wednesday when they have more so I can start on Thursday. I’ll be back.
I really want to audition at Rhino again, but I feel self conscious about it because when I went last year, I only got 2:30 shift bouncer said it had nothing to do with me and to reaudition in a month and I’d get it, but I just wasn’t in the mood to have another huge shot to my ego so I never went lol. I’ve wanted to work at this club for so long and I was very sad because even though I know the 2:30 is good, it just wouldn’t work for me as a single mom.

Oh and for reference, since I saw others do it- I’m 5’7 and 130-135. Not very big boobs (I suspect this didn’t help my chance at Rhino). I’m Latina with medium length hair, but I can look mixed sometimes if I wear my hair is curly.
oh and. I would go back to sapphire, but I worked there like 5 times about 7 years ago and pissed off someone that must have been a big deal because I’ve gone back there in hopes to get rehired a couple times and they told me there were notes that i could never be rehired lmao. I did like this club, and feel dumb for getting fired, but it was definitely a very important lesson to learn as a dancer. Always be nice and sweet because there are tons of other gorgeous girls waiting to be hired. Anyone think I should go back anyway? It’s been like 5 years since I last tried, and I’ve been thinking about it…

Auditioned and got hired at sapphire today! Waited for about 30 minutes for the manager. Looked at me from the front, had me turn around and look at me from the back, then told me I was hired and I filled out paperwork. Happy hustling ladies!

^ I want to plan another work trip.
Have the masks fallen off in clubs ?
Next weekend it felt like hotels were crazy in pricing.
Maybe it means it’s getting busy finally !
I have a concert to attend next weekend.
If I'm in town already I might stay and work.
I might stay on my friends couch lol !

Keep kicking butt !!!
From my understanding summers are slow and I’m assuming COVID didn’t help anything. CH3 has been packed but haven’t got pass $800 a night yet. However, I’ve only been dancing 2 months and the girls are nice so can’t ask too much yet.

Any hints about anywhere auditioning during the DAY like Noon to 4?
I want to try somewhere new but don’t want to wait until late to try to experiment .
My local friend is fine with me staying soon .
Ha. Good because I’d panic at shift start and be “ off “ being upside down ( paying for hotel ).
Gotta get out there , I need $$.

I believe all the big, good clubs audition after 9. I’m not sure which ones audition during the day, I just responded to tell you that if you need money you should definitely get here soon, like before the month is over. It’s very good out here right now. I don’t wanna miss a single day lol.

^ Yeah, I have found similar ( no day time auditions ) BUT that is fine !
If anyone knows of anything ( a club shifting hours to earlier soon ) help a girl out please. :)
I'll be back soon !
I can do NIGHTS ha ! We will see how far coffee and motivation can take me.
I'm feeling good about coming to town again. Last time was SO BAD for me hahaha.
The capacity reduction law had just switched that day. :/
This trip is SOLO and FOCUSED .

I'm not sure what your body actually looks like, but most dancers in the high end clubs are pretty thin. I see big butt girls too, but I don't know how they decide the criteria which they hire them to be honest, and there are way less curvy girls than skinny ones. Probably have to be fairly tight-bodied, no cellulite, stretchmarks, flab etc. The boobs will help for sure lol. The best clubs out here are Sapphire, Rhino, and I'm hearing good things about Crazy Horse. Treasures is decent as well- have had 1000+ nights there many times. Now at Sapphire making a lot every single day.

Thanks a million for the reply! I’m pretty thin usually I gained weight on purpose to do my butt lol I don’t have a stomach, I got my breast done, no crazy cellulite and no stretch marks, I just remembered they usually only want one or 2 black girls a shift if that. I feel like I’m attractive but at the end of the day it’s about what customers are into. I liked working a Rhino but it’s definitely a different hustle.

My friend has worked at Sapphire/Palomino for about 3 years now and will straight up tell you you have to be rather petite to get hired then after they don’t care too much (unless of course you know someone). Such as she’s black and has a traditional curvy body now but originally was only 120 when hired.

Who is working Halloween weekend?
I think I WILL !
The timing is good for me even though I usually avoid holidays !
Holidays can be SO hit and miss !
To answer you ( above ) really all you can do here is try.
Places are known to be quite picky but I think you are toned enough to try at many of the clubs ( almost all of them really ). You might be surprised who says yes and who says no ( managers have really strong BIAS for their own tastes ). Basically .... try multiple clubs. One place I'd try first is Sapphire. The reason is that I *don't* think they require the $200 business license just the $95 work card. It's such a pain to get the card. I won't even lie to anyone about that. :/
Wear A LOT of glam make up . The only reason I say that is your example photo looks really light makeup and that just doesn't fly here at all ha.
***^ I'm going to be discrete with the info so NO QUOTING please. I may edit. ALWAYS do your own checking obviously.***

Hey ! I tried to remove the quote part lol. When you say business license, do you mean like the sheriffs licence ? I’m from UK and really wanting to work over there but heard Vegas require a lot of documents.
I think the hardest thing to get is the sheriff card? From what others have said it’s possible to dance in places like NY and Miami with just the v1sa wa1ver. Would be amazing if there was a way in Vegas.
But generally it would cost a lot for me to go out to the US so just trying to make sure it would be worthwhile! Thanks for your posts as well they’re really helpful

Personally I’d try LA, even though I live in Vegas I’ve been going there for weekend trips and it’s worth it. To answer your question I don’t think it’s international dancer friendly. I work with a girl from Russia but if I remember correct she explained it as process. Such as she already had visa via working as a model then her sheriff card from working at a night club.

Just a quick update. Still at Sapphire. It's still good. I auditioned for SR a couple weeks back in the beginning of the week, but the manager couldn't assign me weekends-- I did get sun/mon/tuesday at 7pm. I really love SR and have made bank there everytime. Might audition for weekends soon, but still holding back due to my last experience with him. I do wonder how much I can make because I seem to really flourish at SR for some reasonl. I also got hired at CH3 but haven't worked there yet. Maybe tonight. Happy hustlin everyone.

Just have your mask on you while working. You don't have to wear it while walking around and meeting people.

I auditioned at Sapphire before having my card. I saw them tell a girl at CH3 to ask for a referral in the front and then come back for the audition after she got her card. I would probably go there if I still needed one.

Sign up for cosmopolitan players club and they give you $15 in dining. :)
Many NICE food options $18-$22 so treat yourself for cheap. :)
It’s one of the best “ insta comps “ I’ve found so I thought I’d mention it here.
I like getting little casino comps to kill some time before working when needed.

Rhino requires weekly covid tests which are also available at the club I think Monday-Thursday at 9pm. Only open m-wed 9-5 Thurs-sun 9-8. No one wears masks at rhino. You might get stopped once or twice but no one wears them. You don’t need to be vaccinated just have a negative test. Crazy horse needs a negative weekly test too, and they still don’t do floor dances, only vip. Vegas just hit slow season so don’t think it’s even worth it til next year honestly

I had a weird experience recently trying to do a couple auditions. I am new and was trying to get a referral. When the managers (2 different clubs) asked why I wanted to dance and I told them that 'it's something I want to do,' or 'I like being naked and dancing' to be funny, it did not seem to go over well lol. Am I just supposed to say that I want money? I never thought motivations for being a stripper were important.
At the second club the manager kept questioning me, saying I seem 'shy' and that 'dancing is probably not what I think it is' and even asking 'have you ever been to a strip club before?' Seriously? Then asking if I've danced, and rolling his eyes when I said 'Not in a club, but I'm confident in my dancing.' He went a little over the top when pointing out how I didn't know that you needed the card to do a true audition. I knew you needed a referral to get the card, just not that you needed the card to do an on stage audition. He brought me inside and gave me a brief overview of the place, at one point mentioning the private rooms saying 'you know, you're there alone with someone... with the door closed..' I guess implying that I didn't understand private rooms? Or I wouldn't be able to handle a customer. He then started warning me about pimps. He ended up giving me a referral but I'm not sure why, he came off like he didn't want me to audition at that club.
I expected to be turned down as a newbie, but I didn't expect to be made to feel like such a dumbass. I'm 30 and not new to strip clubs. I'm not sure what I did to come off as a total rube but if anyone has any tips I'll gladly hear them out.
I got my sheriff's card and I want to try a few more places, but it was very off-putting. I can't imagine that I'm the only awkward person who has wanted to try stripping or the only new person who has ever come off as new.

Where did you audition? I wouldn’t say you’re there for money. That’s obvious. Say like you want to work in a fun environment w likeminded people or something. Vegas is hard for new dancers. If you’re not confident everyone will see through you including managers. We have some of the harshest managers in vegas

I totally hear you on why you were dumbfounded and overall floored that they spoke to you this way. Obviously, it wasn't personal, as they don't know you or anything about you.
True newbies can be a LOT of drama and trouble for clubs. Teaching them the rules, dealing with all of their questions, dealing with drinking / drugs (lots of new girls don't have a handle on moderation and don't know how else to deal with the stress of working in high-pressure sales), new girls causing issues with experienced girls, new girls having no idea how to sell rooms, etc. Vegas is definitely looking for hot, experienced dancers who will require zero maintenance, make the club a lot of money, and leave without causing drama. That city can be tough to crack for even super experienced dancers.
If i were new in Vegas, I'd definitely try to start at a dive, get my sea legs, and move up from there. In general, it's best to avoid telling managers that you're new.

+ 1!!
^ The big Vegas club want very experienced girls.
That’s why they ask the intrusive questions.
Two options :
Lie and say you have experience ( research to appear you do )!
Or assure them you plan to be a pro / not a babysitting project.
^ My take. :)

CH3 was where I got all the questions, I swear he brought me inside thinking I would faint LOL.
SR - I knew I wouldn't get hired but I wanted to see how it was. I know I'm not in my best shape, he knew it too judging by his glances at my stomach in the fully lit back area lol. The shame.
Hustlers - I was told to come back in the morning but called and was told to come anytime, so we'll see.
I didn't have a chance to go anywhere else, it had gotten pretty late and I wanted to go early for the card.
I'll definitely try a different tactic. I was not on my mental game after driving 600+ miles on no sleep and I'm embarrassed that I came off that way. It's harder being out here alone with body and money stress than I thought it would be.
Thanks for the feedback, I've got no one else in the game!

Keep us updated! That's a hell of a drive, and 'interviewing' / auditioning is an exhausting process. Sounds like you're well on your way to getting some experience under your belt. I think you'll probably do well! Most of us came into the industry alone / without any emotional support, so i feel you!

gosh I read this and it brought back so many flashbacks of when I first started dancing. I’m born and raised here, so this is where I started and the only city I’ve ever danced. I hope this didn’t discourage you. I have been embarrassed by the strip club managers too, once in front of many hosts and other super gorgeous dancers. It knocked me down for that night, but you have to learn to keep your head up and push forth in this city because honestly, they’re just kinda mean at these big clubs and they don’t care. oftentimes don’t even remember being mean to you! Crazy right? Some tips.. from a local dancer who is now able to work at all the best clubs here. :)
Keep it short and sweet with management. I wouldnt really joke until they’ve warmed up to you. They’re busy and don’t care about you or your life. They ask because like another girl said, they want experienced girls and these managers see and talk to so many women, so I’m sure they make an educated guess on what kind of dancer you’re going to be by how you answer. Look are #1, personality is #2. The nicest person you will meet will either be a house mom or a host having a good day.
the big S clubs, as I like to call them, can be overwhelming for a new dancer. I started at sapphire my very first time ever dancing. It wasn’t long before I made someone mad and couldn’t go back for many years so do NOT piss anyone off at these two big ones- they have the most money. But definitely give them a shot. Though I’ve done extremely well at the horse too.
If you insist on working the big clubs, start at treasures and work your way up. the hardest clubs to get hire at, in order, are SR, sapphire, CH3, then treasures. So it’s not a bad idea to start at treasures and work your way up. Wear lots of makeup, nails and pretty jewelry I’d you can. Eye makeup and lipstick are a necessity.
In a nutshell, show up, be friendly and open minded enough. You can lie and say you danced in a random place, but definitely wait a good while if you wanna do it at any of the ones you already went to. Again, don’t get on their “permanent” shit list!! Feel out the vibe in the locker room.
I hope I’ve helped a bit. It hit a soft spot reading how you had nobody else to ask. Been there, it sucks. Well now you have us here to ask any questions. Good luck. And don’t give up. There’s lots and lots of many here. :)
