Late 20s is not old!! I'm 47 and my regs are asking me if I am coming back!(no. Retired) I have other life goals now and dancing takes too much time away from achieving those goals. I am appreciating where I am now because I know in 20 years I am going to think "oh I wish I looked 47 again!" Right now is the youngest you'll ever be, so use your time wisely.

So funny how 27 seems to be this magical age where women start getting dumbass comments about their age... I remember when I turned 27, this guy told me that that was his "favorite age" because that's the age where I was going to start realizing that I "wasn't young anymore" and would lower my standards. Told me that he bagged both his wife and his gf at that age because women start getting desperate

His wife and gf-I mean if they are poly okay. I think this is why I’m a mature dancer. Because i won’t settle for less than what I deserve. I think a woman’s age is how the patriarchy further oppresses women. Don’t get me wrong, there’s legitimate reasons to reject someone because of their age because they want children or because of whatever-I’m not talking about someone simply seeking compatibility. I’m hating on the 40 something year old men with dead end jobs, a beer belly, and a deep seated issues with women who thinks because I’m not 20 something somehow I’m less than LOL. Those are the type of guy that go after a woman’s age-guys with deeper seated issues with women. Normal guys, might say thank but no thanks. Only toxic men bully older women.

One word FEAR. Never let fear motivate your decisions.

That being said we’re all on our own journey, so I can’t judge, but I’m at point in life where I’d rather die alone than settle.

"The wall" does not exist for us ladies. My mom is 47, looks WAY more beautiful now than she ever has, and gets hit on by men of all ages. (Much to the dismay of her husband, who is 10 years younger than her lol)
If you use Google you can see an 83-year-old woman who has no issue getting laid off Tinder any day she wants.

"The wall" is propaganda that tries to make us panic to settle before we get "too old." And imo, you are only "too old" for anything when you have to trade in your heels for a toe tag. ;)

Quit dancing when YOU are ready. There will always be a club you can get hired and make money at no matter how you look or how old you are
