Believe them the FIRST time. Not the 50th time, lol. Change has to come from within. People know themselves better than we do.

I am going through a divorce and don't plan on getting married again. I will date but stay independent. All I can say is when someone shows you who they are believe them. They are not going to change. Don't ignore red flags like I did.

You never know. He could turn it around once he knows how much certain things bother you so that he can stay in your good graces.

You are always full of good advice, Miss P. I should talk to him about it. I feel like it's one of those things were you best get set up, cause we are in for a long talk, LOL.

Chanzep, I hear you. I ignored those red flags sooooo many times in my first marriage. I'm sure I made some mistakes in my current marriage as well, but the first one was a major life lesson.

But I hope you find tons of happiness in your new life. I consider myself blessed to be rid of dead weight and I hope you do too.

I just ordered two. Gets the message across without the weird stares my “Je suis Charlie” shirt gets.

I wish I could transport myself back to the 50’s before these dumb ass women thought it was a good idea to fight for “equal” rights so they could go slave in a cubicle away from home, ship their infants off to random daycare, n by the time both people got home they were too tired from work to do anything

I’d rethink that. The 50s had a lot of downsides, and there were still adequately provided for single income families past the 50s. I went to Costco today with my coworker who I did the robot dance with, because he was thinking about getting a membership but couldn’t decide between Costco, BJ’s, or Sam’s Club. Had I done that in the 1950s, I’m pretty sure we’d have found figures in pointy hats who weren’t garden gnomes in our midst shortly afterwards.

I remember my Facebook timeline being so damn boring on Sundays, because it'd be a bunch of posts from people clowning each other over their teams...and it'd be football this...football that. I have zero interest in football, and it annoys me that every time the whole family is at my dad's house for a major holiday...the T.V.'s always gotta be on some game. Lol. That's when I'll go back to playing Family Feud on my phone, because I cannot stand having to sit there watching football. *Yawn*

Speaking of sports, I will often rant about how men won't hesitate to pay $50+ to watch a Pay-Per-View fight that's only gonna last 30 seconds..

I agree, and also found out that most threads on here flooded by men are boring as fuck. Like really 'yaaaawn' like its a boring TV channel.
And the fact that some men are easy to pay to watch two dudes fight...bahahah! it's just another side of a gay porn to me. Just socially accepted one, accepted enough to be shown on TV lol

Here we go again. “I’m here!” You didn’t say a word to me to confirm our appointment and so I napped instead.

Also, “Oh you’re in Fullerton? That’s nearby. Can I come over?” Pfffft. You never drive to see me unless it’s convenient for you. He wants me to go to this dumb event next month so he doesn’t go alone and I hate when guys act sooooo different in public with me like I’m their walking arm candy compared to the crap they pull in private. I attract the worst men. It doesn’t matter the race, job, size, height ...they manage to find me loll. I’m far too content having a child alone as the days turn into years. Oh god! He also said everyone in his circle would nod their heads at how cheap he is. What a redeeming quality I want in a man who owns a paid off house. Girl I want to be treated like I’m special not couponing my ass. I get it but there’s a level of BS I won’t accept.

Also a customer finally divulged that he has seen me all over the USA when I've moved to certain states for work. Tell me first so I don't treat you like a crazy man who refuses screening. This is the first time I'm wearing lingerie in a year and haven't shaved since a few months ago. Thank god for blonde hair.

I’ve never been married before n I hope I don’t lose myself

I get confused with all this “we” stuff.

And I find that their bad habits affect you.

One thing that freaks me out is I like my solo time, I dont “need” a man (in fact many of them are worthless), and I’d rather get lots of money fast from multiple dudes than get it slow from one average salaried dude.

My family convincing me that being “old n alone” is like some sort of death sentence

Marriage is no guarantee anyway. Nobody lives forever. Everyone will eventually either die first or live without a partner, possibly for years. Reminds me of Cher singing "sooner or later everybody sleeps alone".

I know several older people who are thoroughly enjoying their alone time and traveling doing things their partner didn't like to do.

I'd much rather be alone than wish I was!

Men are notorious for this shit, and I can't stand it. Have you questioning yourself and things you've said (Wondering if you went about it wrong)...until you stop and realize WAIT A MINUTE...NO. I've been patient af with this dude, calm/cool/collected, and never had any unrealistic expectations. I'm allowed to speak tf up when something is bothering me, or I feel that you're being a jerk.

I will never again allow some man to have me second guessing myself. No matter how good he looks, and how good the dick is...lmfao.

He fucking ignores me thinking it’s some major issue and stressing and making me drive his ass around for 2 days.

His brother tells him to check his battery.

Im pissed that when I tell him it goes in one ear and out the other but when his brother tells him he does it.

I fucking hate men (like 80% of them) because it’s like being with them means that most of the time you’re forced to choose between love or money.

Why can’t their bitch asses provide BOTH

WTF?!?

Are they such degenerates that they can’t provide adequately for a family that they need you to work? Why are most of the wealthy ones such complete assholes that it’s not worth the hassle dealing with them/selling your soul for a lifestyle?

Most men these days are SERIOUSLY lacking.

I wish I could transport myself back to the 50’s before these dumb ass women thought it was a good idea to fight for “equal” rights so they could go slave in a cubicle away from home, ship their infants off to random daycare, n by the time both people got home they were too tired from work to do anything

I'm glad we have rights that we have today (like being able to divorce from an abusive relationship, or open our own bank account) but at the same time I wish modern feminists would focus on equity over equality. Liberal feminism believes that inequality between men and women can be solved if society treats women the same as men. Sounds like a simple solution to a complex problem, right? But nuance is important here; there are biological differences between men and women that simply put us at a disadvantage in a lot of areas. Men are the biggest danger to women today, point blank period. (I'm not saying that women can't hurt people, or that all men are bad, but you can't deny statistics and facts that men are the most likely to sexually assault/harass others, and they hold most of the power/money/influence in the world) As of now, the playing field is far from even.

Equity means treating people differently depending on need. The unique biological disadvantages faced by women needs unique solutions - treating us like men will not be enough because our problems are not experienced by men. Equity in a relationship looks like:

- A man paying for all dates because women bear the greater risk when meeting a strange man, even in public. Women also spend much longer preparing for a date. Men should also demonstrate financial capabilities throughout the relationship, because women stand to lose more financially upon marriage, especially if they have children.

- Men spending longer on foreplay because female sexuality is not the same as male sexuality, yet the female orgasm is also regarded as important.

- Husbands ensuring that their wives are not left financially disadvantaged due to rearing their children.

Women contribute SO MUCH in straight relationships. I have NEVER heard a man say he is genuinely happier being celibate or single, meanwhile women are happy to be this way (a lot even learn to become happy and whole with themselves like this before trying to find a partner).

I had this epiphany awhile back. Imagine if just by getting a boyfriend you have access to the following; a personal assistant, a life coach/advisor, a fashion consultant, homemade meals, a sparkling clean & organized house, a bigger and better friend group, a shoulder to cry on, and someone who selflessly catered to your sexual needs without even thinking about their own. A man even benefits from being SEEN dating a beautiful woman (he gets social points within his friend group & work, among other things)
In the past I never realized this but now it's mindblowing to me. Not because I didn't know that women regularly do these things for their partners, but because it never occurred to me that I should be getting the same treatment too... A few years ago I'd think it'd be unfair to expect these things, but men are just entitled to them by default.
No more. Men I see have to either share this burden with me, or they have to pony up 100% of date & bill money.
Ladies. Our labor, hell our mere presence, or touch, ALONE is SO valuable to men. Don't listen to the propaganda spreading in the media that says otherwise & attempts to cheapen our power. You deserve someone who respects that value you bring just by being.

Anyways, just my 2 cents, fwiw :)

I just came here to say i think the ultimate fuckboy is Justin Timberlake and I could never stand him, even when I was a teen in the late 90s and all the other girls wanted to bone him. He gives off such a smartass fuckboi vibe yet doesn't have much to show for it, besides money.

EXACTLY!

This is one of the reasons I stayed single for so long.

I’d constantly end up with narcissists, fuckbois, n arrogant douchebags. Of course they weren’t like that in the beginning but once I saw their true colors I bounced.

I feel like it kept happening bc I was too nice and giving these men a chance and giving them the benefit of the doubt till I realized they were self centered, misogynist, and a few of them downright dangerous.

I truly believe that if you are a nice person, the only way you can continue to be nice (in the dating world) is to date a guy as nice or nicer than you.

I’d say L is one of the few guys I can be my nice self and not worry about being taken advantage of.

Men are taught that ‘nice guys’ finish last and this (imo) is not true. They are raised to be borderline toxic masculine. It’s sad that many of them don’t even know how to be nice n if they are nice it’s coming with some strings attached. So it is rare to find a genuine nice guy (still masculine though) who hasn’t been ruined by the typical misogynistic beliefs systems.

^^ The good thing about my guy is that we both hate people and we don't care what ppl think of us. He has been burned and taken advantage of the same way I have and I don't see either of us screwing the other over because it's happened too many times to each of us and if it happens again, one of us will crack.

It's so hard to trust again when people whom you were supposed to be able to trust screw you over.

Love these 2 cents! Especially about equity over equality! I always thought that feminists basically persuaded women to turn into men to be equal. And since there should be balance in the universe, men turn into women. Bahahahah}:D
Just yesterday stumbled upon some articles about home violence and how women seeking help are not trusted and then some are even killed by their partners/husbands. It scared the fuck outta me. So, yes, it's all..very, very complicated problem. Also depends on certain persons so much.Like you cannot cut everyone into the same shape/rules. I know there re men who can keep a house organized and worthy to be trusted. And there are douchebags too. It's good to understand yourself very well so you don't attract douches lol A lot depends on a woman in this.

This probably falls in the right spot. I escort and dance just so you know my backstory.
I went out with some friends last night to a club (regular dance club). One of the guys that was dating a friend brought his friend. We hit it off and had a good time. Very sexy and knew how to dance. We were all over each other on the dance floor. We all leave together and we are making out in the back of the car. Get to a friends place & we disappear to a room. I give him head and I didn't ask for it but he automatically says he's going to return the favor. He starts going down on me for about 10 minutes and honestly not very good at it so I just play it off and ask if he has a condom. He does and we end up fucking right there. Basically a quick one night stand. We get over and everybody laughing because they know the deal. He leaves soon after as do I. Been there done that many times so don't think much of it.

This morning I get a text and he's pissed off because he found out I escort. He's all pissed because he thinks I'm a disease ravaged whore now and cursing me out calling me a whore. I remind him that he chose to not even ask what I do or what. Just because I escort doesn't mean I have STDs and some random hook up he would have could very well be the same. At least I get tested regularly as opposed to some people who don't.

Am I wrong for not telling him? I would've be honest if he asked but I was drunk af myself and just wanted to fuck him.

That thread in customer conversation about the woman who stabbed her husband and got sentenced to 30 years-completely agree with Sam38s opinion that when the tables are turned many men get off with a slap on the wrist. Had the same thought myself before she posted.

Logged on this morning and saw a certain male poster had responded to the thread and I knew without clicking on it that it would be some “well actually” type response explaining why Sam is wrong...opened the thread and yup I was right!

No i don’t think it’s your fault for his reaction.

I think if he was so concerned about STD’s then he shouldn’t have had sex with someone without verifying their health status. That is HIS fault because he made the choice to do that.

He sounds immature af

That Eric Stoner guy is a piece of work too (That's who I thought you were talking about at first 'til I read the thread), and now the mods have let Raziel back on (In that case, maybe some of the female posters who've been banned should be let back on then). Between those two guys, brace yourself for all kinds of bait posts and unhinged posts.

And fake white knight/resident sociopath Rick dugan

Baiting n Unhinged posts is very accurate.

Never ignore what men show you no matter how much you wish they weren't so. Men are what their behaviors reveal them to be.

That made me laugh because I also hate people, LOL. My uniforms when I'm out and about is 'it's a beautiful day to leave me alone' shirt. People have been warned so I don't ever want to hear anyone says 'you don't like how someone's acting so you react badly'. Um no, I do have a right to be left the fuck alone. That's the UNDISPUTED fact. Period, end of conversation.

Thank you all I feel so much better :) Come to find out I've gotten more details on the situation. He's engaged! Surprise surprise! I think the fear of STD's is more so because he's worried about giving them to his g/f and he knows he's screwed up. I feel like telling him that he probably shouldn't bother eating pussy because he's not good at it and then you might feel better knowing we did use condoms.

Tell him his pussy-eating game is so WACK, you were laying there bored as fuck...wondering "What am I gonna make for dinner tomorrow?" ;D

Yeah, last year I let some guy fuck me, and then I found out he has a fiancee. SMH. I told her, but I'm sure she decided to "stick by her man."

Ewww....I'm not sure if I wanna be a paid babysitter tonight. Client wants to spend 1500 for 4 hours so he can take ecstasy. I've had enough drama for this week.

My grandma used to say never cry over anything that isn't crying over you. It still hurts though. Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, but it's good to let it out, though, when you're in your room alone (Rather than bottle it up). Thanks.
