It looks like it could fly TBH!!! It's too small for me personally. Too small to be safe. Kinda like a donorcycle aka motorcycle.
Testing is showing safer than most cars actually. Aerospace composite.

"Aptera has a passenger safety cell stronger than that of any vehicle on the road today. Its aerospace composites assure that."
I'm looking forward to getting one. No oil changes, no gas ever, few repair bills, free energy, freedom. It's actually pretty huge inside, lots of storage space. Wouldn't work if you have a lot of kids to tow around but I'm done with such things. It's just me and maybe one occasional passenger.

GM is lowering the price of the 2023 Bolt to $26,595. That's cheaper than many gas-powered vehicles.

Ten years ago, the cheapest electric car you could buy was a Nissan Leaf, which sold for $36,000 and had a range of 73 miles. The 2023 Chevy Bolt will be selling for $26,595 and will have a range of 259 miles. The days of the internal combustion engine are numbered.

Yes, let's strip mine more lithium. EV is not the answer.

So what's the answer?

There are plenty of clean sources of energy for charging electric vehicles. There's wind, solar, hydro, and nuclear. Burning natural gas for electricity to charge electric vehicles, is much cleaner than using gas and diesel powered vehicles.

@Eagle
charging them isnt the issue most people have problems with. Its that it takes 500k tons of material moved to get enough lithium to make a battery for an electric car. You love to research things, look up lithium mining and then say whats best for the environment.

Lithium can be extracted from seawater.

California wont even extract water from seawater. You really expect them to extract lithium when they choose rolling brownouts to having a real energy source.

Nice math (again).

Kind of makes me wish I'd bought a hybrid
