Please make sure you join the protest and the efforts to rectify this horrible outcome. We ALL need to get real active because it's not gonna end here. Justice Clarence Thomas just realeased a statement saying that additional laws should be reevaluated as well.

Griswold vs Connecticut for example:

Landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States protects the liberty of married couples to buy and use contraceptives without government restriction.[1] The case involved a Connecticut "Comstock law" that prohibited any person from using "any drug, medicinal article or instrument for the purpose of preventing conception". The court held that the statute was unconstitutional, and that its effect was "to deny disadvantaged citizens ... access to medical assistance and up-to-date information in respect to proper methods of birth control". By a vote of 7–2, the Supreme Court invalidated the law on the grounds that it violated the "right to marital privacy", establishing the basis for the right to privacy with respect to intimate practices. This and other cases view the right to privacy as "protected from governmental intrusion".[2]

No man is getting pussy from me. I’m serious. There was this guy I was talking to. I’m going to nursing school, I’m not gonna fuck that up by getting pregnant. Men have ruined my life. I’m done dealing with them. I’m not even playing. If I can’t get an abortion I’m taking a vow of celibacy until I can.

On a more practical level, I’m getting an IUD next week.

Celibacy + moving to a protected state is a good idea for now, but what about the future?

They got what they wanted but it won't stop here. They will want to remove ALL of our rights. Birth control, marrying same sex, the right to vote, the right to own guns, or open a bank account, the right to make porn. They want to take away our personhood and livelihood. Keep women poor and pregnant and without the ability to support themselves.

I wish I could leave this country but I don't have any other skills to immigrate somewhere else.

That's a smart idea to get birth control now (Condoms break)...before the next thing we know, they start coming for that as well as our right to get a hysterectomy...tubal ligation...etc. I know I'm probably being dramatic, but some of these men feel "It's a woman's duty to make babies," (*Eye roll*) so I wouldn't put it past them to pull that.

I have to make arrangements on who will pick me up from the hospital next Friday after they're done removing my tubes. They can't discharge me until a person is there to pick me up.

Supreme Court Justice Thomas has confirmed that past decisions on gay rights and birth control will be re-evaluated. Civil liberties are about to be eroded left and right. Please be pro-active during these Mid-Term elections and be sure to support progressive candidates. We will need the strength of the legislative branch to create laws on the federal level that will protect women's rights. I think the time has come for American women to demand that the Equal Rights Amendment is finally passed and entered into the US Constitution.

I can't speak other for women but I have preparing myself for something like this. Celibacy has been my lifestyle for many years. Personally, I refuse to empty myself for men or governmental demands. I will not give birth if it's not on my terms. Sure, I live in California but who knows what laws will be inacted in the future. I don't give men dominance over my life nor body. I don't care they want when it comes to my reproduction. I will control my womb and not the government. Most women in my family already had tubal ligation... I am the very few that can still give birth. So, I will protect my womb at all costs.

Really hard for me not to see all men as evil. NONE of them ever deserve sex. The Supreme Court very much wants to make all birth control illegal as well as being gay. This is about forcing women to have baby after baby, it is about cruelty. More women arrested & charged with a felony for even having a miscarriage means millions of women losing the right to vote.

Rape by guards at prisons is rampant, so all female prisons will turn into baby factories to make the Catholic Church & lawyers very rich. And we all know the job market for people with a felony record is horrible, so companies will have a good supply of super cheap labor they can also abuse.

We have lost all privacy.
We have lost control over our bodies.
it is about women living a life of poverty.

Depending upon the State or even county, voting can be easy to find or hard. Some places have plenty of places to go vote & others have very few places & very long lines. Voting itself is fairly easy. And literally it is our lives, financial well being and JOBS on the line.

I know this site isn't about politics for the most part, but politics is interfering with my Civil & Equal Rights. And these same zealots all hate porn & want to make it illegal too.

vote, but hold those you vote for accountable don’t settle for hollow words. That time is over. Ask how they intend to fix this, what is their stance on the filibuster? Expanding the court? We all have to think political, trust me I know it is exhausting but shutting this out won’t make it any better. Unite with others, the fight for roe was paved with people who didn’t even like each other many times, they knew the end goal was so important.

The fact that one man can get a different women pregnant everyday of the year and the fact they have way less issues when it comes to reproductive hormones, child baring, etc and there’s not more talk about what men can do to prevent pregnancy blows my mind!! Honestly a vasectomy is like a 20 min procedure in a doctors office and very high reversible rates, they keep getting better at reversing. A women needs surgery and it’s not very reversible. Also the birth control that literally changes our brains and hormones and over all health. Just like rape victims, they never talk to the men about not raping women……no..it’s what women need to do to not get rapped. Corrupt asf!

So, next step after celibacy is holding our local and state politicians accountable.Donating to verified reproductive rights organizations such as the Adoption fund. Try to make sure those in dire need of abortion get what they need.
Tell those using menstrual trackers electronically to get rid of them. Tell those seeking Abortifacients both the pros and cons of use.

Pay attention to what she says starting at 4:20 and then at 5:20. Stop and listen to it for yourself! This speech was from the same day as the Uvalde school shooting, therefore it's fucking worthless. She actually says that the goal is to make sure children are as protected in the womb as they are going to school! Going to school, she said???

If they truly wanted to protect children then they would do more to regulate access to guns. Pay attention because there's a Sarah Huckabee Sanders in your state right now, and they're building an uninformed army designed to dissemble your rights. Pay attention and get active.

You can still order abortion pills online. You don't need to be pregnant nor do you have to prove pregnancy. Costs around $105: https://www.plancpills.org/

If you can spare it, I highly suggest getting a prescription now. I submitted a request to speak with a doctor so I can get a prescription in case I never need to use it in the future. I'll update everyone with how it goes. I also ordered some Plan B from Amazon, because I'm sure in my state (FL) they will make it a prescription required drug again.

Use a VPN and check your state's legality before pursuing this route.

Edit: Also, you can get Plan B for $10 on Amazon. It's not brand name, but it's the same dosage of the same drug (1.5 mg Levonorgestrel). The shelf life is 4 years so it's not a bad idea to pick up a few. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N1UOMJ9?psc=1&smid=A239B26N1D1NAG&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp

Im not in the USA but this sparked an abortion debate in other countries as well and it makes me so angry, I was talking to a male friend yesterday who says he has his life ruined for having a kid with a junkie chick, he thinks abortion is 'murder' but bitches every chance he gets about his ex girlfriend/baby mama because she 'tricked him'. He got angry when I suggested its probably a good idea to wear a condom unless you know 10000000% sure she is on BC. I suggested he got a vasectomy, LOL.

What we have in our country is abortion up until 24 weeks in pregnancy, which is the best argument for these pro life idiots because they think people are aborting for funsies at 24 weeks while that rule is there to be able to end pregnancies where the foetus has severe birth defects.

Men are so fucking stupid I hate men who think they have a say in this. Shut the fuck up and go sit in a corner. Im married but if I were single I would only sleep with men who are pro choice, fuck that shit

AR is ass backwards in every way. Not a lot of money running through there (most of the state is like living in the sticks), people overly dependent on a fake religion/fake politicians that are only used as a tool to keep them in poverty and in check (aka funding the extremist political campaigns), and last I recall they were paying bonuses for people to up and leave and move there for work.

Just like unwanted pregnancy is now being forced on low income and uneducated women.

I’d send those lying prolifers an invoice for maternity expenses, diapers, formula, baby clothes, school tuition, ballet lessons……those mfs are big on “bring the baby into the world” ….. ok but who is going to pay for this little ankle bitter?

Watch them catch amnesia so fast.

Prolife mfs are like fuckbois - be offering nothing but guilt trips and lip service.

I also think states should increase the child support amounts. And every man should have mandatory child support taken automatically out of his paycheck (starting at conception- since that’s when prolife thinks that it’s a “baby”) before he’s able to spend anything on himself.

thats because its already out there. WIC, snap, food stamps, prenatal care, postpartum care, Dental, housing assistance if she qualifies, but after X amount of time the mom is left without health insurance. the mom is treated like royalty until she is no longer pregnant or post, i think 6 months after she gives birth she is no longer on medicaid. as a former foster youth let me tell you, there are so many unwanted children in this world. group homes where they get abused and neglected. run by corporations. the less abortions the more these "group homes" will make from the gov.
these facilities make so much money run like prisons. they lock the food away with a chain on the fridge, pay workers $15 an hour to hold kids in down and they are unable to breath. all for profit.
children born to drug addicts... crying all night and day. boy do i remember that.
i once knew a boy who had to eat out of trash cans with his crack family.
and another who was in foster who had to walk by his homeless parents on the way to school (after being placed luckily in a good home)
trust me.. shit is going to hit the fan. the foster care in the usa is completely messed up.
and then they dump the unwanted kids on the LGBTQ community (whos rights they wanted to suppress as well)since the LGBTQ are the only ones who are even often willing to deal with foster kids. go figure.

Theyll give assistance IF you agree to adopt the baby out to a random family and too many reports of adoptive parents abusing/murdering the very kids they claimed to want.

Also I think it’s easier to qualify for public assistance when a woman is pregnant or with young kids especially if there is no man in the picture. I think you have a point in that the local governments will now need a higher budget to cover the increase in unintended births which means higher taxes, etc.

The foster care system is not that good. And CPS is a joke.

This might sound fucked up but I don’t know how else to say it but isn’t it better to just reasonably abort than to risk having the baby tortured and killed in an abusive foster or adoptive home? Why bring an unwanted kid into the world when the likelihood of them having a shitty life is very high.

I agree 100%. It feels entirely unethical to me, to create life just for suffering. Like some sort of real life homounculous. It gives me the heebie jeebies. Its like Frankenstein's Monster. Except, Dr. Frankenstein was forcibly inseminated and forced to carry to term. Ugh... My metaphors are mixed but I am so upset about this.
