I went to a protest earlier today (Or should I say yesterday...Wednesday afternoon). :) There's gonna be another one on Friday, but I'm not going because I'm getting my tubes out that morning...and then taking it easy once I leave the hospital.

Only 12% of single parent households are men.
Men make it out of single parenthood better than women so……on that note.
If I ever came up pregnant before I wanted to (god forbid) I would increase the statistics of single dads and leave the kid with the dude. I think the stigma of women fleeing situations that aren’t beneficial for them (even if kid is involved) should be eliminated. Men are out here cumming and running. Turn the tables on them.

^Fucking exactly. I saw a video of a guy railing on abortion today, and the top comment was something like "I hope the next girl you rawdog gets pregnant, keeps it, and leaves the baby with you. You'll be singing a different tune when you have to actually look after the fucking thing 24/7". Men think they can bareback any girl they like and not have any consequences. Why? Because we keep letting them get away without any consequences. I wish more women would dump their kids on the dad and fuck off, paying the bare minimum in child support and seeing the kid every other weekend. Turn the tables, see how they like it.

I was reading today that Florida and Kentucky mostly Florida though is blocking the ban and is going to keep it at 24 weeks. You never know but they're saying that's so far in the southern states, Florida has the most freedom to get that done in right now.

Show this to every pro life imbecile, to see what happens in a country where abortions are banned. A LIVING daughter was left without her mother and a husband without his wife, because her unborn child died in her womb and they refused to help her clean the remains, so she died too, thanks to this stupid law. Spread this clip everywhere you can:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UY3HAO1J6LY
The rest of the Eastern Europe is kinda safe from this, for now. We are slowly detaching from the church (that's what I hope) and the horrors of banned abortions and contraception, that only happened 30 years ago, would never be repeated. Also, the orphanages were horryifing, full of abandoned children that mostly died or ended up exploited and abused, because foster system sucks everywhere in the world. They don't give a jack shit about children.

I can't stop thinking about the increased femicide that's about to unfold...the increased percentage in the number one cause of death for pregnant women that's about to spike even more due to this...damned if we do, damned if we don't...it's like a target being put on our backs just for our gender...we already get taxed due to our gender. to have more pregnant women: murdered, forced to give birth, to live in poverty, to be single moms, to die of complications, to put their baby into an already overstrained system is incomprehensible. women have become much too powerful and have been threatening the current balance of powers for far too long and the powers that be cannot let it continue, that's what it feels like to me. i live in a country that is practically an unwanted baby factory. children having children. the ER is filled with 12 and 13 year olds having kids, and often with birth defects because they are too young to be popping them out. birthcontrol is a concept people dont understand or care about, and some women have 10 or more children , no joke.
10 year old kids get knocked up and its like "omg congrats!! lets have a baby shower.. a gift from god!" NO JOKE their exact words!
the catholic church bribes and pays off the gov officials in mexico to make sure abortion stays ilegal.
and a lot of people here literally dont even care about their kids. just let them wander the streets late at night, dont take care of them. often their organs are harvested and the kids are never seen again (yeah its a real thing in mexico, harvesting childrens organs )
and a lot of these so called parents they dont even get that upset when their kids get in accidents , die or go missing. they just say "oh god took them, it was their time"
and they are happy to have 1 less mouth to feed. no joke. ive seen it before .
they all think if you have an illegal abortion here (by taking pills or something like that) you will GO TO HELL.
this image that people have of mexico being "all about family " is often not true.
baby bottles filled with coke, children in rags, and the father pissing the money away on beer if there is one around. and then they keep popping out more.
my old housecleaner was a perfect example, she had 3 kids (all accidents)
and she would LEAVE the 6 year old to take care of the new born when she would come clean my house. when i found out i was LIVID.
i OFFERED to give her more work to do (she was living off $10 a day at most) at first i felt sorry for her. haha mistake. i thought i could use her for some clip sales or something just to help her out
and she said " oh i couldnt do that " but has posts of her on facebook twirking her ass in clubs drinking at bars while she leaves 3 small children 2 of which are under 2 unattended.
she would let her kids starve and lived in dirt floors, but boy oh boy.. somehow she would show up to clean my house with a brand new set of acrylic nails. LIKE WTF!
she would literally let them starve and get her nails done. i kid you not.
the moment i saw those acrylics i fired her, i was just too disgusted. i couldnt be around her.
ive met so many people like this in my time in mexico. i am so over it.
so many "gifts from god" that they let die because "it was there time" . pahleaseeeeeee

Funny how a woman that chooses to terminate a pregnancy because she doesn't want to raise her kids in poverty, is seen as evil, while others that do this are "blessed". I see this situation here too, in the rural area. Every winter we see campaigns where they show us how mothers with 10-12 kids (and the mom is under 30) are living in poverty, no work, not having what to feed them. And that we should donate. Sure, we donate, the goverment is also helping them with money, because the kids have no fault, but that teaches the parents that it's ok to keep fucking and popping kids, because they will survive and people will help them get by. And if you suggest that maybe they should get her tubes tied if she has more than 2 kids and they have absolutely no living conditions, they tell you that "That's what god wants" and that you're bitter and even evil. Or the man, this alpha male of the eastern european village, that drinks at the bar, has no job and beats his wife and kids, to be doing a vasectomy?? Nah. And then I hear at the news that teenage girls from Eastern Europe are being sexually expoited in Germany, Italy, UK and Netherlands. Basically kidnapped from home and never hearing of them again. London is full of them, at every corner. No one does shit to save them.
All coming from families like this, because there's no one to protect them. It's a fucking nightmare.
All of that happening with abrotions and contraception legal. So every pro lifer can go and do something about THAT first if they feel like saving lives. They just want more cheap meat for the sex industry.
I hate religion with passion at this point. One thing I am glad that the most religious female political figure in my country, said she will never accept abortions being banned again in our country, and that women must always have a choice and that god will deal with their choices, and that it's not us to judge. I couldn't believe my eyes, but she is old enough to be lived the horror of comunism with banned abortions and contraceptions, that was happening only 30 yrs ago.

It's astounding to me that so many people do not know that Pro-choice does not mean pro-abortion. The stupid is strong in this country.
Pro-choice means that no matter what YOU believe, you understand that it’s not YOUR right to make a decision regarding what another woman can and cannot do with her own body.
People who are anti-abortion are actually pro-choice. They want the choice of choosing what women should do with their bodies. They want to draw the line for women.

But…I am pro abortion, as long as the person having it wants it. I think there is a tendency to try to please these pro forced birth people but nothing will make them be reasonable. Not a 10 year old raped by her uncle, the women who have miscarried who have to carry the dead fetuses for 9 months, not a single thing.

You are so on spot with this one. If you look back in history, I think more atrocities have been caused by people acting in the name of religion than anything else. Religion does not have anything to do with faith and God, is just people who are craving power and using God's name to rule the ones that are not able to think for themselves...or who have been taught that they should not. I am not even in the USA and I am so sickened by this new law! I am probably originary from the same place where you are from (or at least same geographical area) and old enough to have lived in the times when I had young neighbors and mothers of school colleagues who died because of the communist anti-abortion laws. I was only 10 years old at the Revolution, so luckily I did not personally suffer because of that, but it still affected me as collective energy.
Now more than ever Self Respect should be enforced and taught and understood, and women (and the men that are awakened enough to support this) should stick together and have the courage to speak up! I don't think I was ever so fired up about a cause...and so annoyed that there's not much I can do about it. By the way, if someone knows how people who are not in the US can help with this...let me know! This is clearly not a US problem, is a global problem and can affect us all in the future, not only with this specific issue but in general!

GOP played the long game & took over the Supreme Court. We have to play the long game & vote in every local, state & national level. We have to vote those in who believe in the Civil Rights Act. Who believe in Women's Rights to our own body. Who are against sexism and racism.
Those at the city level eventually try to rise up to the State level and then Federal level. We may not get the results we want right now, but keep voting for those who aren't white racist. We can run for local offices until more sex workers in public office are a thing.
We can write our local, state & federal representatives our opinions on the job they are doing. Write & write again. We can't let just the Christian white supremacy misogynist win. Sorry, if this is to political of a post, but that is who's trying to rule this country.

group homes or elder care facilities that are funded by the state and are for profit (privately owned and operated)
are in the business of making profits. they wont care about your child whether that child is a ward of the state, special needs, or elderly folk.
the only places i have ever seen that were ok were very wealthy rest homes for rich elderly who give up their house deed or buy into an elderly community where the contract says once they pass on they have nothing to give to inheritors (something like that)
essentially they buy in to full care for $400,000 and after they pass your family gets nothing of it.
I have NEVER seen a well ran state funded or gov funded facility.
my experiences and back story relates to
group homes for fosterchildren
nursing homes/ advanced care--my mother as well was put in a care facility when she had cancer and it was so bad .. the smell alone, eventually they injected her wrong and almost killed her. that was what was covered by her medicare.
detainment facilities-- my husband was placed into a "detention facility" for deporting illegals like you see on tv, and well.. that was for profit and was worst than any prison in the usa.
(Yes my life has been a shit show of epic proportions but that is a different story lol)
in my experience
NOTHING funded by the state or for profit with state funding privately ran is ever ok!
i would never place my child in a facility like that if i had any choice.
i may rag on mexico a lot but i have seen great care here for elderly (Here you can afford private nurses around the clock, caring gentle people)
I had a co worker whos mom has advanced Alzheimer's and her facility is great! she has her OWN full time nurse, and the place is just a beautiful house with not too many residents. she is so well cared for!
medical care in mexico is overall not good for procedures or things like that, BUT
but for LONG term care, end of life, nursing type situations it is ideal.
if i had a child with special needs or elderly parent i couldnt care for.. it would be mexico 100%.
you can literally afford the best of care around the clock
and not the type of people who would abuse elders or those who have special needs.
i dont know if it is an option for you , but you may want to look into mexico for a long term solution.
i mean i could get a live in full time maid and only pay $75 a week by letting her live with me and providing her food and that would be considered generous.
in addition,
Ive seen elderly in my condos at the age of 95 up until the very end literally being pushed around the beach during the day in their wheel chair, and 2 nurses 24/7 .. living the dream in my opinion compared to a rest home in the usa.
i personally am relocating to france in part for their medical care and i am looking to my future .
if you need more info you can pm me, id be happy to help or explain more in any way i can.
your child is blessed to have a parent like you who cares about their well being and future.

I'm not sure which post this is in response to, or what exactly you ladies are referring to when you say "group homes." But several years ago, after receiving a referral, my then-preteen son on the spectrum DID (for 5 months) stay at a residential treatment center for kids with behavioral and emotional issues, and it was amazing and not some horrible place that abuses kids. Once a week was Family Night where my family and I got to visit him there for a few hours, and then he got to come home to stay on the weekends. These were well-trained, loving teachers and staff who helped the kids work on coping skills, therapy, and participate in social peer groups. If y'all remember that medical T.V. show 'House' where they had episodes where Dr. House was admitted to a treatment center, and when they felt he was ready to be discharged they threw a party for him and had cake. Kind of the same thing here. This place was different from regular public schools where they've got freakin' 20+ kids in one classroom (Way too much noise and stimulation), and teachers not equipped to handle kids who have meltdowns or be able to give individual attention.
It's easy for one to say "I would never put my child in such and such" until you find yourself in a situation where the meltdowns, tantrums, and behavior problems are frequent, and they're getting kicked out of daycares or schools, and you're running out of options. As a parent, you do what's best for the safety and well-being of your child, and you don't want them hurting themselves or others. If it becomes a question of going there...or doing nothing and seeing them in jail (juvie) because they couldn't control their temper, you go for the first option even if it's a tough decision to make.

I don't have a doctor nor do I have insurance. Would a tubal litigation be expensive for me?
You can go to your local Department of Social Services to see if you can get medical assistance.

I had the top one (Laparoscopic salpingectomy).
Getting your tubes removed also reduces your risk of ovarian cancer. You can ask them to put an anti-nausea patch behind your ear. But I was told it can make you dizzy and lethargic, and have dry mouth the longer it stays on, so maybe it's a good thing that someone had removed it by the time I'd woke up. I was told to stop eating at 12 midnight the night before (That even includes NO WATER), and get there two hours early the next morning. No piercings, no necklaces, and no lotion that day. They put an I.V. in your hand, and give you anesthesia to put you to sleep. Then they wheel you back to the operating room. A small incision is made in your abdomen, and your abdomen is inflated with gas so they can see your uterus and fallopian tubes better (Expect to feel pretty gassy and bloated when you wake up...lol). Two more incisions are made to remove the fallopian tubes. And while you're still asleep, they stitch you up and put three bandages on when they're done...one over the belly button, and two on each side of the abdomen area. Your discharge instructions will tell you no heavy lifting or swimming pool for a week. Nothing inside the vagina for at least a week. At one of your doctor appointments prior to the surgery, you can ask your doctor to send over a prescription for Ibuprofen (for the cramping afterwards) and a medicine such as Ondansetron to prevent nausea and vomiting. And try to have that picked up beforehand, so that you're able to take it when you get home. When I went home that day, I made sure to eat light. Saltine crackers, salad, water, and ginger ale. I also had a lemon that I squeezed into my bottled water.
I just had a friend of mine peel off my three bandages for me last night, because I didn't wanna do it myself. Lol. The stitches will dissolve on their own.

I am forty and a mom: I suggest
A man who has had a procedure on himself
You get yourself a procedure
The copper IUD
The Mirena IUD
Those are the best methods and find a doctor who will.

Those are great ideas but people shouldnt be forced to have procedures they don't want either. Like me personally? I would never get my tubes tied, but i also don't care if someone chooses to do that. It's not my business.

my man is so wonderful that he has used the "pulling out method" with me for 13 years.
and i check my ovulation days (my obgyn taught me how)
my obgyn loves him to death, says he is the example male for the world lol.
i thought about the copper but she told me that i didnt need to be worried.
i have a large family history of cancer and i got cysts from using those terrible birthcontrol pills.
my method might be crazy but if my obgyn advises it i guess it will do.

Yeah I use the same but i also use spermicide on top of the pull out method just to be safe. I've never gotten pregnant from precum, but I'm sure there are women out there that have lol. I would hate for that to happen. I also can't be on bc because it messes with me too much

Those are great suggestions but I don't really care about men having permanent procedures. They don't factor into my decisions about my body. For me, having tubal ligation is about having permanent birth control. Also it's about having dominion over my womb.:)

Huge win in Kansas. Large numbers came out to protect abortion rights in a very conservative state.
