do you think that the only positive to the female experience is taking money from men? I mean that’s nice but that’s overall small in the whole thing. I love all my emotions and my empathy.
why do you think it’s ok to put down other women’s choices but yours are where the line is drawn? I have never even had to take a plan b. Been on bc since I was 13, before I was fucking, never had a mistake or a scare. There is no perfect woman with your line of thinking. Someone else will be more pious then you.
I have also made a ton of fucking money from dudes, even before I would declare it as sw. I am not gonna join a sex strike but I will always keep my reproduction in my hands. I will also help others when possible. Funny enough, Helping others for a greater good actually makes yourself less on edge and not so “irrational”
I love it and I'm here for all of it!

It isn't Democrat judges that wrote that paper, it was Republican Conservative Judges that quoted laws back in England from like 1640s.
If it was a Democrat ploy then why do 17 Republican States have trigger laws in place once Roe vs Wade is over turned?
Your comment makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever.

Guns and coffee...oh my, Marina, I love you even more!! I just saw your new avatar.
Look up menstrual extraction. I will find a link and share later, but it's something women are going back to...can be used as an early abortion OR for a late period ( I have had many of those without being PG).

I’m so sick of the politicians. I almost didn’t vote this year-why bother. I will vote for Dems because of abortion rights, but I 1000% agree with Jimmy. Fuck the democrats and republicans. They don’t give a damn. I think some of the progressive are bat shit crazy. I’m a independent.
Honestly, there were no counter protesters so that makes me think most people don’t give a damn. I think the average American cares about gas prices and food prices. I think the average “pro life” American really doesn’t care if abortion is illegal/legal they’re probably more worried about their bills.
Mother Theresa said if you want to stop war don’t go to an ANTI WAR protests go to a PRO PEACE protests. Part of my spiritual practice is staying detached from mass unconscious. I try to avoid politics altogether, but sometimes I feel I’m too much of a pacifist
Politicians use our differences to stroke anger and hatred. We’re more alike than we are different. The elites want us at each other’s throats so they can control us. we need a whole new political system. Perhaps centralized direct democracy, but we’re too busy fighting with each other so the corrupt politicians can stay in power and we don’t have the energy to create new systems that would serve us better.
We’re distracted by abortion rights so now the Dems and Republicans can serve their corporate donors instead of actually doing things that would actually improve the average American’s life.

Let the prolife broads deal with the consequences

Plenty of prolife people seek abortions when it suits them. So I don't know if they will truly deal with the consequences.
I know in some countries like Poland etc, even after certain procedures were legal, doctors let a woman die in septic shock because the fetus had a strong heartbeat. So scary.

How do you expect people that will have sex with a broke ass man just because he looks good and sends them good morning text to protest abortion rights with their vaginas? Most women are highly emotional and a great deal of us are irrational. We say one thing yet do another. The truth is most would rather get laid than go to an abortion protest. People are fuming mad but I can guarantee you they haven't thought about keeping sex off the table for one second.
Dude cmon that’s something men say to justify ignoring womens feelings.
Anyway, regarding a sex strike-I think it could only happen effectively in a small homogeneous country. Iceland had one and I believe Ancient Greece too? USA is just too big and disorganized. Plus we have so many different cultures here. Even among US born citizens there’s a huge cultural divide.

^Yeah the highly emotional and irrational part ::) like what other patriarchal myths did you swallow whole today lol because it doesn't get much more stereotypically sexist than that.
Reminds of the Trump supporter who said that a woman can never be President because she might PMS and start a nuclear war. Well so far the people trying to start a war are men.
Part of the white male system is anytime you go against it-you will be labeled as wrong, crazy, sick, or bad. Like sex work! The white male system is the programming itself. We aren’t say white men are bad! We’re saying white men are typically unconscious of their programming and they way they perpetuate it or even they way THEY can be victimized by it! We all know of deep feeling men who are tormented for being sensitive. We’re talking about their programming-not the being itself as being wrong or bad. That’s why white men are so unconsciously scared right now. The ego is afraid if we dismantle the patriarchal system IT will DIE!!! Their ego literally think it’s will DIE!
It seems are dear friend has internalized some of the programming. It’s just programming-we don’t need to make people wrong for they know not what they do. We need to coach and challenge the system as much as possible

Men won't partake in women's rights because it's not a priority or it's something that even crosses their minds. Their only priority is having sex with women.
I shouldn't even have brought it up lol I just wanted to say don't count on the actions of men because chances are they won't respect your rights anyway. If they won't respect your rights now, they won't start respecting your rights once you refuse them sex. Either they respect you or they don't. I think that living in a society that puts women in prison for abortion/miscarriage and rather lets women die than give them medical help if something goes wrong with their wanted/unwanted pregnancy just sounds like a horrible idea overall. I hope you can fight it. Things like rape would still exist too, so in reality everyone would take the consequences regardless of personal belief.

Men are just better at hiding their emotions than women because it's socially viewed as weak when men get emotional but as we know plenty of men are some of the biggest crybabies. It doesn't take much for men to get emotional and irrational, all you gotta do is turn them down. We know how men behave when they're rejected, lmao.

Personally, I am just going to stick to my plan. Which is celibacy for two or three more years. Find the man for me, every std tested, marriage, pop out x amount of kids, and then get tubal removal. That's my plan. But celibacy is the one for me right now. Between the STDs being every minute and this...celibacy is my path of happiness.

My future birth control method is tubal removal. Most women in my family had tubal removal or tubal ligation. Sometimes...right after having a baby, women would hurry up and get tubal removal. I am going to do that right having the amount of children I want. If anything, these events made my decision easier.

I’d rather have my husband get a vasectomy after we were done having kids. I want someone else to take on the responsibility. I went off birth control for 2 years a while back and felt so free! I think being willing to get a vasectomy is a sign of a real man. I used to have a Mormon friend who got one after him and his wife’s 6th child. She’d had a number of miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy in addition to all the successful pregnancies. He felt it was his turn to step up and give her body a break.
I like your plan though! It’s a good one.

I think not having sex is a valid form of protest since we as a group of oppressed humans are still being punished for our sexuality. People stop things they enjoy all the time in forms of protest; why is sex any different?
Empowerment comes in different forms. What is empowering for one person could be considered degrading for the next. (I'm sure most sex workers know this already!) What if I told you none of it's wrong, so long as we are not really hurting anybody? Do what you feel is right. You are a woman & will be blamed or told what you should have done differently anyways so do what you feel like you need to do for your voice to be heard with a short reasoning behind why if people ask. Maybe you will inspire others to think of how they can help.
For the record I have seen some of my male fb friends getting vascetomies as a form of protest. Since the government clearly wants to force women into pregnancy some people are choosing to opt out even if they might want kids someday. I mean it makes sense, some people would rather never get pregnant rather than get pregnant & have a child before they're fully ready (myself included). I'm glad to see some men are stepping up & doing their share. :)

I think the male (sociopath) dominated government just wants to get its narcissistic supply.
They’re probably orgasming off all the woman dropping everything to come out and protest, giving them attention, etc. All while they watch the chaos go down from the comforts of their mansions
Protesting by withdrawing sex is a lot easier for women who are/have been celibate and single

And not by closing legs... closing legs must be a freedom of choice, not a choice because a freedom was taken.

Me too! Im talking to my doctor about getting an IUD. My mom got pregnant in her 40’s. I don’t want to risk it! Especially as an older woman it would even be harder on my body to be pregnant at my age. Until I hit menopause, I’m taking no chances! Heck I’m celibate, but they’re not making exceptions for rape, so I unfortunately have to prepare for worst case senarios.
I vented, protested, and I’m voting in November. All I can do now is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Until the law gets passed, I’m probably going to take a break from this topic, so I don’t get a rage hangover.
What are you all going to do to do?

I'm gonna avoid using Trojan condoms (The last two times I've used that brand, I had irritation and it burned when I would pee), and stick to using the SKYN condoms.
I'm not sure how soon after an endometrial ablation (which was on Feb. 25) one can get the ball rolling on getting tubes tied, but my doctor can answer that question on Wednesday.

The IUD was really painful.
Plus, it gave me bad and heavy periods.
I opted for having a tubal ligation, because by 34, I knew that I'd never have kids.
My mother used to put the fear of God in me, by telling me that she knew lots of women that still got pregnant, despite having their tubes tied.

Does anyone know about IUD’s and camming?
I feel like if they take our birth control away an IUD would be the best thing to get now because it lasts a few years. It would last me a few years to get through nursing school. I wouldn’t have to worry birth control anymore either. I’m abstinent. I just worry about rape. I don’t want to have a rapist baby. I know that sounds extreme, but we’re living in extreme times.

if you don’t use big dildos you should be fine. I never have done damage at work, I had one dislodged, but by a real 10 inch. You know when it happens.
First one I got was shockingly painful, not immediately but like 30 minutes after, down for a couple of days. Now I take a day or two off if they are putting or removing things now but have fucked on day of insertion and it was fine. It was so bad the the first time, I hear more doctors are giving pain options nowadays which is great. It was nothing the second time.
I had horrible periods with the cooper one that interfered with work. But Mirena turned them first to spotting then non existent which is nice. I still get pms, boating but no cramps or blood. Dr says it’s fine but everyone will be different with these things. I never think about it while working. I have my strings cut short but I for sure know how to get up in there and you would too!

I just bought 2 boxes of spermicide and plan b just in case , gonna buy more when I get paid. I can't be on birth control bc it fucks me up. Luckily i'm with a partner who's pull out game is on fucking point, and we do use spermicide and i track my cycle, BUT just in case, I got plan b.
Some of these trigger laws they got are crazy. In my state they are wanting to prevent women from going out of state to get an abortion, which to me is crazy. Like how are they gonna enforce that? What are they going to have people at the state borders making all women pee on a stick? Like they don't have the man power for that . My advice though if you're in a state that might do that, is to get a P.O box in another state, just in case.
Also I noticed some bills are being drawn up in states where they want to ban birth control and condoms. Up in michigan, they have 3 gubernatorial candidates that want to overturn griswold v connecticut which would ban all contraceptives... but here's my thing, how would they control that? what are they gonna do? watch us have sex and make sure the guy isn't wearing a condom and doesn't pull out? Im like that's impossible LOL
but then again, in romania, they had decree 770... look it up ... they outlawed abortions and contraceptives and took it all off the shelves. It royally fucked them and it went on for like 20 years before they stopped .

If say you're from one of the southern states, but you travel up to NY or CA where it's legal, you can't be punished for an abortion right? I'm trying to understand all of this nonsense. I had an abortion 20 years ago and I think they damaged something in me or I've got major scarring bc I've been soo lucky since of not getting pregnant thankfully. I've also had LOTS of unprotected sex with my partners too which baffles me to a degree. A few of them never pulled out and nothing happened. I've been up to date on my checkups since and luckily no stds either. I'd like to maybe not even get on any bc since I've been so lucky but iono.i don't want the painful iuds, etc.

^same I’ve been kind of baffled maybe even mildly traumatized by the multiple plan b I had to discreetly take (at least 6 times) to the point I just got really stern about not fucking during ovulation but it’s like what if all those plan b impacts my fertility?
Even though they say you can take it more than once there isn’t enough research on the impacts of using it multiple times.
I guess I’d be more traumatized by having a baby with a guy I don’t think could provide for it financially to the standards im accustomed to.
But really you only have to work about pull outs during ovulation. Technically you only have an 24 hour timeframe for the egg to get fertilized but you have to track consistently to pinpoint precisely when that egg releases.
If you don’t track as consistently then use about a week window. My fertile window starts after my period stops and last 6 days.
Outside of your ovulation window it’s not likely to get pregnant from unprotected sex with completion inside.

I know there are some contraceptive implants that now last for 3 years.
Found this info on the NHS uk, but I am convinced it exists in US too https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/contraception/contraceptive-implant/
"The contraceptive implant (Nexplanon) is a small flexible plastic rod that's placed under the skin in your upper arm by a doctor or nurse.
It releases the hormone progestogen into your bloodstream to prevent pregnancy and lasts for 3 years."
On that link there are more pros and cons for this, but for those interested, could be a good option.

She had mentioned that if she'd known sooner, she could've actually done the tubal ligation at the same time she did my endometrial ablation (which was February 25). I had no idea that both could be done at the same time! Lol. But I never actually told her my wishes for tubal ligation until this week. I wish I'd told her sooner. Pfff... women already have a hard time going to a gynecologist check up thanks to being super "comfortable" to spread your legs and have that shit inserted in (to me is always a painful experience), now we shouldn't be suprised if cervical cancer and STD spreads are rising, with those new laws. Everyone will avoid gynecologists like plague. I still pinch myself to see if we are in 2022 or not.
