sawbesides sports celebs, and the wrestlers at doll house all live in st pete, hulk hogan and randy savege, they dont do any spending.
Hmm that's weird .... I used to make a couple hundred in sit and chat tips from Hulk Hogan at Scarlett's. He didn't buy dances though . And Randy Savage used to buy bulk dances from Kandy back in the day.
Warren Sapp used to come to Scarletts alot- He was a HUGE RACIST ASSHOLE in my experience. We had a few other Buc's players in and they were all cheapskates except Warrik Dunn who I think plays for Atlanta now- he was very nice and tipped well.
Daryl Strawberry used to come in from time to time- never would have know about his drug habit though from what I saw of him. Very nice polite guy I thought, tipped 20's and 50's on stage, no dances that I can remember and he used to order lemon drop shots.
Ice-T came in with several people once- he brought his own stripper and she wasn't all that either! The club let her dance for him on a small stage if she kept her top on. His group tipped a little but nothing to write home about.
I sat with and danced for Drew Cary as well at Scarlett's, he acted like and tipped just like any other run of the mill customer.
I met Howard Stern at Scores and did serveral dances for people he had at his table. Great tip too !
I think that covers my celeb experiences at a SC.

I love that scene in Players Club when Luc and the Too Little Crew pull up in the limo and Lil' Man tells them "I don't care who you are, you can't park here, you gotta pay to get in... ya'll are always trying to get something for free."
I'm still looking for a club with Dollar Bills money buzzer that lights up the whole dressing room with green lights whenever a celeb walks in. That's too funny!

Tigerlilly,Randy savage has been dating a dancer I use to work with at a club for 10 years, georgeous george, but before they were dating and he came in he never spent any money, and when I saw hulk hogan in the doll house I never saw him get any dances he just stood around and talked to the management and owners, waren sapp was in all the time and he did like blondes and did actually spend some money, but not that much for what he makes I think I got 400 once for dancing and hanging out w/ him and his friends.Dennis rodman use to come in crazy horse ,chicago,w/carmen electra,I was usually already up in vip when he came in ,but he use to give the 2 or 3 girls they had up their w/ him like 3000 each and he would only stay around an hour.

Wow another surprise! He made loud racist comments on many more than one occasion that I remember.... glad to hear that he doesn't always act that way :D
It bothers me at games when I see little kids wearing his number knowing what I have seen of him...... have you heard the stories about him cussing at kids who have asked for his autograph? Ofcourse they are stories so who knows really. I knew Randy was involved- she is a hot brunette woman right? He used to bring a real beauty in with him sometimes.... did you ever talk with Hulk? I found him to be extremely warm and funny guy, so not "celeb" acting ya know.....
PS: do you know Mark Hunter at all ?

Tigerlilly, whos mark hunter? It sounds famillar.I only sat w/waren once when he came in,how was he racist?Another bucs player named waren use to come in too all the time,I never really talked to hogan,he came into a beach bar I worked at years ago too,I met his wifes brother joey in tatltales years ago and he gave me good money and would try to get me to come out on hulks boat w/ them,I never did,he was really good looking, but going bald(that was a turn off)Randys girlfriend (ricky) thats what she danced by was areally young like 20 when they started dating, shes a blonde hottie, looks just like jenna jameson, she met him at diamond dolls I think they broke up last year,I saw them on mary povitch together, she is also w/ wwf shes one of those girls, georgeous george is her name.

Some years ago when the Rockets were kicking butt, I would see a lot of the players in the club, Like Naomi I'm not too good with their names, but the shortest one, I think his name was Clyde? Came in a lot and the other girls were going gaga over him ::). Giving him free dances and all.
I guess I've had better experiences with musicians, met Dusty from ZZ Top, he was totally cool, exactly how you'd think he'd be, no airs at all. Told me to dance for one of the guys at his table. While I was dancing I asked the guy so what do you do? And he the guy got this really "snotty" voice and said, "I'm a PRODUCER, like I should know every producer, guess I was a little insulting.
Here's an interesting one: a TV anchor came in one time (won't say who, out of niceness) danced for his cameraman I think, and he had another guy and a woman with him, the woman wanted a dance from me, I don't dance for women often but she seemed nice, so what the heck right? Come to find out she was a Madam AND TRIED TO RECRUIT ME!
And here's a really funny one: my friend and I were hanging out in the VIP room one night waiting for it to get busy, she tends to "judge a book by it's cover", and about 6 guys walked in dressed really down and one guy had really long hair. She made the remark to me that "I'm not going to sit at that table", I wandered over only to find out it was Bruce Willis, among others. *lol* (can we say open mouth insert foot) I thought he was pretty cool, he basically had dancers dancing in front of him (that he wasn't really watching) the whole time while he hid behind them to have his own fun with "the boys". The one time he did get up, he came by his other table where I had settled myself and said, "hey, (with a big smiile) why aren't you dancing?! C'mon Dance, have fun!!" come to find out the long haired guy was his asst. and after the dances we were instructed to go get the cash from him.
By the way, I found Ben Affleck to be really snobby, hope I haven't broken any hearts!

Tigerlilly,whos mark hunter?It sounds familiar..
Mark is a customer whose been around for years- he is on the shorter side and Caucasian, curly hair that has been getting gray over the years. He is a little odd but not in any negative way- I think he takes mood meds and drinks wine on them and gets a little funny. He tips like anyone who says hi or does anything small thing $20 - bouncers in both DH and Scarlett's used to take way to much advantage of that :-/
He picks a dancer or two and has them sit at his table for the evening, sometimes gets dances but hands you bill after bill of all denominations ( he doesn't seem to look at the bill ) until he runs out of cash, then he'll go to the ATM until he meets his card withdrawal limit ($600) He always say s"may I ?" before giving it to you. :D :D :D
You gotta know him from DH or maybe even Tattle- Jamie used to sit w/ him alot. She introduced me to him actually and asked me to sit w/ him when she wasn't working so other girls wouldn't abuse his generosity or weird him out. Like I said he is quite eccentric and self conscience. Rumor is he is worth 17 billion ! I adored the guy- he did lots of charity work and once you get past his odd quirks you realize how intelligent the guy is..... I always felt like he had Howard Hughes syndrom. His money is making him paranoid/mental. He seems to be trying to get rid of it or something.

Hey tiger & michelle, did either of you ever dance for Curtis Buckley at Scarletts. He was a cornerback for the bucs. He used to love that song "tootsie roll" and would dance for the dancers. I also was in Scarletts once when Warren Sapp was there, and I also heard some of the dancers complain about his comments. While living in Tampa, you get kinda used to seeing pro wrestlers inside and outside of the clubs. I've seen Randy Savage and Brutus Beefcake boating down the intercoastal in Savage's cigarette boat.

OMG! ;D ;D ;D
I haven't thought about that for like ever ! He didn't care one bit about the "Mr. Football" image and was always a blast .
Awboy- I think I met you once- you were looking for a dancer named Jessica who had danced at Flashdancers in NYC. prior . Did you have any favs at Scarlett's?

Maybe. I always seemed to have trouble at Scarlett's because the bouncer always used to think I was a cop, and would tell the dancers that I was a cop. This was during the 6 foot ordinace days in Tampa, so I guess being clean cut had its' drawbacks. I moved away from Tampa in '98, so I wasn't as easily recognized. I would visit about 2-3 times a year after '98, whenever business brought me back into town. I did know one dancer who went by Jessi. Lisa was my favorite. She was about 5'-3" with long brown hair and BA. Kinda shy but she was alot of fun to just sit and talk with. She had several stage names, but the ones I remember were Dallas, Sarah, and of course Lisa. She danced at several clubs around Tampa. She danced for a little while in Miami and Lauderdale, but she came back home to be with her family who lived in St. Pete. Have no idea what happened to her, if she's still dancing or not.

Ah yes- :D we called her "MonaLisa"- she was very lovely indeed. Last I heard she was working for a mortgage company in St Pete.
Are you by any chance a lawyer who moved to West Palm in 98 and used to sit in one of the booths( didnt care for any other spot much if memory serves correct) all the time ?
awboy
09-09-2003, 06:33 AM
Nope, I ususally sat on the DJ booth side around the small stage if all the chairs weren't taken. If they were then I would sit at the table right at the entrance. Not a lawyer, but an engineer who moved to the panhandle. Would come in anytime I had business in either Tampa or Orlando. Driving over from Orlando was a pain, but the drive over just to go to the Tampa clubs was a whole lot better than going to the Orlando clubs.

Pamela --
Never had any celebs come into the clubs I've worked at yet, but....
Poison is a great band and Bobby (Dall) is a real sweetie. I was able to speak with him on tour this year for a little bit...
Take care,

djoser- oh my god, trent reznor? i had this huge obsession/crush on him all thru junior high and high school. wow, i wish he would come into my club.
at my club, there has been ashton kutcher, taye diggs, pink, paul rudd, the good charlotte guys (bleh), beenie man, who else.... i forget. ashton is soooooo fine. he looks like a freaking greek god or something. hahah.
Speaking of celebrities, the Good Charlotte boys came into my club and were very low key and pretty polite. They didn't spend tons of money, they actually were cheap compared to some of my regulars. They picked several dancers and just tipped us throughout the night. I had a great conversation and chemistry with one of the guys; the lead singer I believe, one of the twins, not romantic or sexual on my part, I'm just saying we had lots to talk about. Funny thing is about a week ago, he came into the golf course that my boyfriend works at, my bf is a golf instructor, and I happened to come by that day to have lunch with my bf while he was finishing up the lesson. We were introduced and he gave me a look, but I'm not sure if he recognized me! He did ask where I was working, and I said I was a student attending law school, which is my day job!!! lol He mentioned that I looked familiar! Funny!
Many athletes come in as well. I've danced for Chris Webber who is a sweetie! He tips very very well! Surprising, with a finacee or wife like Tyra, I wonder why he'd need to hit the strip clubs! Guess he does a lot of travelling and needs to enjoy himself somehow!
Also 49ers and Giants baseball team!!
The Oasis brothers have come by and they are the biggest jerks; loud; smelly; cheap and drunk!!! And they have bad teeth!!!
Ginuwine came in with his entourage. I gave him a lap dance to his song Pony!!! Cocky, he quite enjoyed watching someone dance to his own song!!!

When I worked at Extasy, we always would get pro atheletes, but I'm not a sports person, so I don't know who they were! I do remember years ago the offensive line for the Giants came in (SWEET!) the guys were huge and very nice and spent not a lot of money on any one girl, but DID spend money on every girl. Many times we would get bigwigs who figure because of who they were, they didn't need to pay for anything- too bad for them they happened into a club full of greedy strippers! No one there cared who they were, no love without moneym honey! Just like the Jay-Z song, "if you got nothin', you better get up, get out, and get some..."
Let's see, we've had Mix-a-lot (no biggie, it IS Seattle, were he lives- actually he lives in Auburn, were I live), ummm a band called L.A. Guns- they were cool WWE, and their previous ID of WWF, again, I'm not up on the names, but they are regulars in the club- every year new talent, but we knew if they were in town, the boys would be in. One I do remember dancing for was Hawk (my kids said he was in the legion of doom-??) anyways, he was all strung out on Soma's so dancing for him was a bit of a challenge, cause he kept nodding off! Our couch was the closest one to the stage, so when it was my turn up on stage, I was watching him while I was dancing and he was zoning out and I yelled "HAWK! I'm on stage!" he goes, "Yep, I'll be awake when you come back, baby". He was fun- even though he was zoned. Eddie Vedder came in, he seemed a litle insulted that I didn't listen to Pearl Jam (excuuuse me! Hey, he didn't know who I was either, so I figure we're even!)
I'm sure there was manny more that I wasn't there to witness. That was the advantage in working in a club closest to the airport.

Brian Urlacher and his friends have been to VIPS several times and the last time I went to work some really cute black athlete but I forgot what he told me his name was. I was under the impression he wanted to keep his anonymity in the club.

;D I was working at the club i am presently at now (which hosts several race car drivers, being in Indy)the night Al Uncer Jr. got arrested, after leaving my club! during his visit his girlfriend(who was the one who called the cops after an altercation on the highway)...he was trashed, she was too and obnoxious as could be...due to her 'status' she was allowed to flop around on the stage making a complete fool of herself, trying to act like the typical 'hollywood' stripper! Terrible, horrible example of people in the spotlight who abuse privledges and act a fool!

This is waaay late, but I just found this thread too...
Jimmy Smits - Complete gentleman, kind of shy though.
Chris Noth (aka Big on "Sex and the City)-Very nice guy, but doesn't spend a dime.
Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine-Spent about $400 on me (the club I worked at was cash only >:( ) AND I got to see them play from backstage.
Paris Hilton - really nice but has no money of her own and got waaaaay fucked up as the night went on
Howie Dorough of Backstreet Boys - nice, no money though
Joe Francis (creator of "Girls Gone Wild")-TOTAL ASSHOLE! Wanted dozens of free champagne bottle for his "entourage" and kept pestering the girls for extras. AND he threw me out of a VIP room after almost an hour without paying (a huge clusterfuck for him to pay) because he wanted "blondes only". The guy has an AMEX Black card and wouldn't even pay for the time I was there.
NIN Keyboardist - cheap druggie weirdo
Marilyn Manson's band (minus MM himself) - tipped the tattooed girls well.
My thing with celebs in clubs, if it's someone who's work I enjoy I'll say hi briefly, but I never expect to make money off them. These people are used to having their asses kissed constantly and live in a separate reality where luxuries are free and women throw themselves at you without barely having met you.

This guy named Ben Affleck came into a Vancouver club once...haha (not one I've worked at though!).
Christian Slater and his wife were hanging around a downtown club I work at sometimes for a few weeks in the summer, and Tara Reid.
I'm bad at recognizing celerities- apparently I did a private dance for Nelly and didn't even know it until afterwards! Snoop Dogg and the guys from Swollen Members (don't know if they're big anywhere but here...) come in to local clubs a lot. And the guys from Chris Issak's band.
Probably more, but I can only see like 2 feet in front of me without my glasses (ie on stage)

Oh yes! i wrote this in another posting sometime back.
My favorites where when the 49er's came in, 2 of them. One was Terrell Owens! I love that man!! Now i have Bobby Dahl from Poison (spelling) living 10 minutes from me. And the drummer from Whitesnake! His mom is in her 80's and not too well, so he wants to be here. He lives a good 15 minutes from me.
The guy from Whitesnake (man i can't spell his last name, and the accent...damn), is soooo nice, we went out a few times. I actualy met him at a street party where he was playing!
Pamela
Wooohooo Pamela! Living so close to Bobby Dahl... Wanna trade me? lol.. I read a post recently that was made by you a while back about you meeting him. How did it go? Poison was, still is, and will always be my all-time fave band.. lol.. I still see them every year when they come to Mass on tour. I've never had the honor of meeting them though. <sigh>
I've personally never met a celebrity in a strip club, but I did meet Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) back in '99. He was a "feature" I guess you could say, touring with Poison and 3 other hair bands. He's awesome. He signed my shoulder, which I had vowed to get tattooed into my skin, but never did.. lol (The needle thing). My friend (who is TOTALLY obsessed with him), ripped open her shirt and had him sign her chest. She DID get hers tattooed.. lol. Dee's a great guy though. My friend is a survivor of the Station-Fire, and soon after I sent him an email asking him to send out a dedicated song to her on his radio show "The House Of Hair". He did, and it was incredibly touching.

I've met Chris Rock, Mike Epps, and the guys from D12. Chris Rock tipped me $50 on stage and was very nice and respectful, no dances tho. Mike Epps was nice, but cheap. The D12 guys are cool but don't usually spend money.
