I was powerfully drawn from the get-go. Then in January of this year the s**t hit the fan and I started what was one of the worst periods of my life, and Stripperweb really helped me get through it. I was on and posting 2-3 times a day!
I had a Stripperweb member from Amsterdam staying with me for a month during the special events season here in Daytona, and she used to kid me about being "obsessed".
I have tried to get some of the dancers I work with to sign up, with varying success--it seems to take a certain type to really get into it--I would suspect a higher than average intelligence is part of it.
In recent months I have been here a lot less than before, and posted hardly at all, but I still like to check in and see what everyone is up to. There really is a feeling of family here. You can meet people on SW that you would be very hard-put to find out there in the "real" world. Some are quite special indeed...
Be it obsession, addiction, whatever, I have no regrets, especially not now, LOL.

I wonder since we all are addicted to this stripperweb and some of us know which state and clubs we are in, have anyone ever met any other dancers in person?
I m hoping it wouldnt be too akward to meet other dancers u know just to hang out since many have the same interest or whatever.

I was out of town for a week and, I shit you not, last night before returning, I actually had a dream where I'd logged on and had lots of new PMs and responses!
I hate to say I'm addicted; but hell, one week and I'm dreaming about this site.
K's Choice stuck in my head now. ::)
I'm not an addict it's cool I feel alive, if you don't have it you're on the other side. I'm not an addict, maybe that's a lie... :-/

Hmmm...if it's an addiction then maybe that means we can tell how bad we're hooked by the number of posts we have? Maybe Pryce should post the names of those with huge numbers of posts so we can see who the really hard core addicts are?

Well, wouldn't you know it, I was answering this thread while waiting around for various reasons at one of my client's office, and later he got on the same computer and FREAKED OUT that I was looking at this site. He looked up which addresses I had visited immediately, the paranoid son-of-a-bitch...
He is a very conservative real estate developer who thinks that Rush Limbaugh is God--he actually had a magazine put out by Rush and his fans which showed Rush as the STATUE of LIBERTY!!!!---complete with members of various minorities looking up at him with reverence. I wish I had copied that cover, LOL.
I defended myself against his severe reaction by saying it was not a porn site, and there were no pictures of naked women, etc., it was related to my other job (for which he has no respect whatsoever). No use---he was totally outraged, and started screaming at me to never go near his computer again.
Naturally he is in the right, it is HIS computer, for his business, but the severity of his reaction was amusing, though not so much at the time. It turns out that one of his concerns was that his sons, aged 19 and 21, respectively, might see the site and get all excited, haha.
They might even get hooked, too!

the ones who are most outwardly opposed are always the closet pervs.

I spend a lot of my spare time on the Internet, working on the History/Genealogy website and Forum I help administer. Since I am logged in a lot, I often pop on over to Stripperweb, if for nothing else to break the monotony.
There was a while where I didnt post anything, due to lack of time and in part because I didnt feel I have anything worthy enough to contribute. Even then I checked every once in a while to see how everyone was doing.
