:) Yes that is true. I know In Mexico they love blondes. But that is interesting I am not a world traveler like you.

In most of the world, blondes are in the minority (except for Scandinavia and LA :)). -lestatdl1

I just had to add something to your comment....
another exception is where I am: Gold Coast. I've had plenty of guys tell me they are so "over" the blonde look due to the unusual amount of blondes on the Gold Coast... mostly fake of course :-)

I am from a surf town and used to think blondes were the best when I was younger. But know I appreciate all women hair color it depends on the quality of hair. I just love long hair down to the butt however it is hard to take care of. I just find it so feminine,

My hair is going to my legs, however, it is not that bad to take care of, i just brush it like anyone else. Lots of conditioner. Thats about it. It really does not knot up . And i use the same amount of shampoo as anyone with short hair. I only wash my scalp, and when rinsing the shampoo runs through the hair and cleans it. It's not bad, but maybe a tad too long.

:) That's what I love the most long hair down to legs it is so feminine to me. And when I do photography with someone with long hair it is fun because of all the ways you can play with the hair to enhance the picture. You can be totally nude but they see very little. :)

I'm a redhead and very fair. I find that this tends to take a man with paticular taste. Do blondes REALLY have more fun? We redheads are known to be devilish and full of fire. But I do see the stereotype of blondes attracting attention first over all. ::)

When I was brunette I had to approach guys for dances, now that I'm blonde the guys usually approach me. However, when I do work the room for dances, the ratio of yes/no seems about the same as it was when I was brunette. Money on stage is definitely better as a blonde though. Maybe it just attracts more attention.

Jasmine I agree with you. I dyed my hair platinum blonde this past October for fun and honestly, the attention I receive from men has increased exponentially since I went blonde. However, my experiences have been similar yours because I find that the preference towards blonde hair is restrained to initial reactions, because it is so bright and eye-catching. I've also noticed that people tend to make judgements about my personality based on my new hair color. I used to be a very dark brunette and in high school my stereotype was "the smart girl." People find that rather surprising now. It's really interesting for me to see how people's perceptions change based on something so trivial. It's definitely fascinating for me because I've lived both extremes.

In regards to the "blondes have more fun" issue, I will have to say that the blondes at our club are the most uptight girls! It's usually the brunettes who are the craziest and easygoing - the blondes are very serious and some are just downright unhappy. This is something I've also noticed when going "out" - is it because there is just the stereotype that they automatically have more fun, or is it really that way? The wildest girls I know are all light brown haired or darker. I only know one child friend of mine who is blonde and a really fun loving carefree semi-wild girl.

* disclaimer* this has only been from MY personal experiences - personally I love blondes and have some blonde friends - but they are all more uptight! :-/

It is strange, in general I find brunettes more attractive, but blondes make me turn my head...it's more of a reaction...like a flinch. Maybe the blonde hair just catches attention better...GirlFriday is a blonde.

I find myself always looking to see if the girl has a great smile because I want to hang out with someone who is happy :) Hair color has nothing to do with what type of woman I like.

Personality, smile and attitude get it every time...blonde, brunette, or redhead. That said, I must confess that I kind of have a thing for red hair... I find the style lately where black women dye their hair a deep, almost scarlet red incredibly sexy for some reason. And I've always had a thing for natural redheads. Maybe cause the first girl to make a pass at me had red hair. I was young and stupid and missed out on the chance, so I guess I've always been trying to find another one. Finally found a redhead at my pet club, and bought her first lap dance on her first night there. She wasn't too sure of herself yet, but she had a great personality, a great body and appeared to be a natural redhead...at least she said she was...I told her I'd have to keep coming back in hopes I'd find out for sure someday! :) :D

i read an article based on a study in a magazine (i forget which one) that said men are more likely to take blondes LESS seriously than brunettes, and that men feel more comfortable approaching brunettes....interesting, isnt it?

juliet i also have noticed that even if a girl has less than a pretty face, yet striking blond hair she will constantly get admiring looks from men.

For me, a woman's hair color has little to do with whether or not I'm interested in her - or if she's a dancer - whether or not I will give her lots of money. It's a "whole package" thing for me, though someone with a nice personality will always win out for me, regardless of looks or hair color.

That being said, I have a slight favoring for dark-haired ladies - especially Asian, Latin, or Native American. ;D

on another note i make more money with inch long dark roots showing then freshly done roots
go figure?

I have a theory that many men get off subconsciously on the concept that a women has altered herself dramaticly( probably) to be more appealing to men. Having roots showing is a dead give away its dyed- these kinds of guys eat that up. These are the same kind of customers who will choose a badly done BA over a natural women.
Its just a theory which I have developed after years as a dancer and watching customer behavior.

i think it's really not about hair colour... it's the total... BUT i do think that a lot of men think of blondes as there perfect woman...

This is a wierd question for me to answer, but I tend to prefer Red Heads, and Goth Girls (Must be very Femme though i.e. Betty Paige types) to blondes until lately. Now, I have a thing for the Typical California Athletic Blondes. I don't know why, but I do. Go figure
