I agree with ColletteCall about ordering 'scripts online. I think bare minimum you should see a doc first THEN get the meds online.
Also I wanted to share what I've discovered about counselors. They're all different and for those of you who decide to see one, well, you might not like the first one you meet. Including couselors and psychiatrists, I think I've seen 6 or 7 total in my life. None of them worked, except one. There was no rapport and it's important there be a connection. The best counseling I ever received was at the university. I'm talking mental counseling not career planning. If you're in school full time, take advantatage of their health services.
Hope the SAMe works for you Topaz. You can get it at most health food stores or there is a few places online that sell it too :)

Just wanted to let you know re: online prescriptions...I did order Wellbutrin...but I had to answer many questions that is reviewed by a doctor and he has to approve you...they are the same questions that a doctor asks you so that made me feel better...when I got the pills the dr's name is on the bottle and everything...i know that it isnt the BEST senario but a decent option for those of us that cant afford a therapist, etc. I am not saying anyone should do it...but so far for me it has worked...I feel alot better and worked this weekend...Thanks girls for all of the encouragement and concern!!!

Don't get to pill happy. I was loaded up on the meds. by a doc. I would drive places and not remember driving at all. I would talk to myself. I felt like someone was after me. And, I really didn't care about anything. If I didn't make mooney I didn't care. Bills got behind and so did school. Prozac totally messed with my head. Yoga and exercise with reading and taking a long bath helps me without any meds. Look at it this way; If you can fake you don't have it. Dancers the lovely girls that we are, are also very good fakers. ;)

Colette is right you need to be checked out with a doctor first before taking anything because the recourse could be worse than what's wrong now. I can't take many pain relievers because of liver problems, stupid me took Ny-quil one night and was throwing up all night and got really sick, it was bad. And some antidepressants may not be what you need, the doctor needs to gauge this.
I agree with Sapphire. I went through a lot of counselors too, I never did find one I liked though. Most of my visits were paid for by insurance because of my "mental illness" they needed to make sure I didn't have to be hospitalized. Depending on your situation and your health insurance it might be paid for, even just a little bit helps.

Along the lines with ordering the pills online, when I first heard about it, I thought it was a GREAT idea... even though I never got the guts to do it (I wasn't exactly planning to use them appropriately). Then, I read somewhere that these doctors aren't always official and are sometimes out of state. The site could rip you off or the pills could get confinscated by customs before they get to you and you're out a couple hundred dollars. (I think this was in a glamour magazine a few months ago)

Sapphire,
I have tried one Xanax, ever! Apparently, it was the lowest dosage and I had trouble getting up from my office chair after I did it. It was late at night after work. I felt like I had been hit in the head the next morning. No pain, just lots of grogginess.
My question: What dosage are you on? How long have you been taking them? Is this something you take every day?
I have a good medical plan. I tend to get moody and have trouble sleeping sometimes. I have thought about discussing the possibilty with my doc.
You can inbox me if you like.
Cheers,
Corey
