you can't see it here, but when the sun comes out the entire car turns rainbow from all the prismatic glitter in the paint. its super-glittery =)

DAMN GIRL-UR CIVIC IS OFFICIAL!! That shit is pretty! I had a metallic blue '95 Civic Ex until I got rear ended on the Bronx River highway this past summer! :( Since then recently, I bought a black '97 Accord Lx, with leathers, an mp3 system for cheap from my friend.........it just has a lot of mileage. But yeah, I LUV UR CAR!!!;D

I don't see any point in pouring a lot of money into a car. Some people get off on the flashiness- it just isn't my thing. I have so many things I'd rather buy first.

Right now I am paying off a red, 3-door Saturn SC2. It is a HOT little car but only cost $8000 because I bought it used. :)
Depends on what your into. I'm very attached to my 93 because it's a great little car, dents and all. But, wanting to get into import tuning, I don't see the problem in spending money on it. But maybe since Ill be doing all the mods myself, it gives me more personal pride.

i have a 94 Ford Explorer

Not my dream car, but it will do till I can find a Ford Bronco, or even better, and International Scout, and can afford it!! Then, I'll probably use the Explorer for 4x4ing and going shooting in the mountains!!!

If you didn't check the Picture Post thread about cars then you won't know the one I bought (and have had a major service). I just wish could drive it legally - her name is Bunny.

The pictures are not taken by me they are from the eBay listing (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4588252911&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1) I found her thru! ;D

Whilst I could pimp her up decent enough for under $3000 (due to her being a small car the parts are cheaper as such) I am not going to ... I will drive and maintain her for 2 years.. then sell her (if I can) to buy me a Herbie (old VW beetle of one type of another). The Herbie I will either pimp up so it looks like a Herbie  (I have always wanted to do that ;D ) or pimp it up in other ways (camoflague paint - light blue and dark almost black blue please!).

I have a POS truck, lol. When we go play golf at the Country Club or another of a few places, we call it our "turd in the punch bowl", ROFL!

It's an 87 F-150 1/2 ton truck. I love the damn thing though, lol. I am kinda looking around for a new car (used but new to me, lol) that gets better gas milage. We only get about 10-15mpg with the truck.

We also have the bike, (but it's in the shop right now) and I just want a car.

My list of cars include:

65 Mustang (my 1st)
88 Mustang
91 BMW convertable
87 Vette
95 Tempo
87 F-150

And hopefully soon I will be adding an 87 Jag XJ12 to that list! :D (It's used and the guy is selling it for a song, so if I do buy it, I can fix it up a little (new paint, tires etc...) and sell it for twice what I paid for it.)

Well, Ok, got me interested.

I used to be a sports car nut.

Love them foreign jobs. Love them.

All nice fancy and dancy and hip hip hooray.

Then one time when I was working up in Colorado,
one of my daughterrs gets sick. Runs a high fever.

Can't get no where, snow, snow, everywhere.

What does my fancy dancy sports car do? Yeah, gets stuck.

Me, and my girl, me carrying my girl, six damn miles in the snow storm.

Finally made it to a fire station, finally got help.

Moral of this story?

Yeah, babe, had a 4X4, American truck, ever since.

Not them European or Japanese wannabe's but solid American Truck.

Like the Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4X4, 6.0L.

Hey, it is the only way to go.

I drive a 1996 Dodge Stealth my cousin sold me after he got a new car. It was his baby so it's still under 100K in mileage (but I'm gettin up there!). Not a bad car to drive.

Hmm, let's see. I drive a 1991 Volvo 740 Wagon. My mom bought it when I was 17 and I used that and our 2000 Corolla. Well, the Corolla is gone now (2 years later) and so I'm sharing the Volvo with my mommy, which was difficult to do when I lived in the city and she lived in the suburbs, but I just moved home with her. I was gonna get myself a '97 Neon for $1500 for Christmas, but other things came up and I'm still sharing the Volvo. It used to have a working radio; not anymore. No AC, and the heat is starting to crap out. I call it the "gas monster" for obvious reasons but one thing it's great for: moving. It's helped me move every 6 months since I turned 18 b/c my furniture fits in the back (on piece at a time of course). Now that I've quit dancing, I don't know when a new car will come.

I have a 97 cavalier. its the only car I've ever owned (mostly because I didn't start driving until 2 years ago).
I'm still pretty phobic about cars in general so I don't actually drive it much.

Weekend car - 2003 BMW 525i

Everyday car - 1998 Cavalier

Huge descrepency I know, but my beemer is my baby. We got it a year or so ago after a family member we let live with us stole my Sebring Convertible. We couldn't even get insurance, because the f%cker was living with us until about two weeks before the theft.

nice weekend car, Jasmine. You'll keep it in better condition driving the Cavalier on the other days. My friend's dad has a Porsche he bought years ago that he ONLY drove to work and it was in PERFECT condition up until he sold it for top $. Then he ended up buying it back. It's a 1982 I believe and last I saw it looks like brand new.

2002 Chevy TrailBlazer fully loaded. Its my baby and even though it has taken me cross country in the past 18 months, its still under 70,000. The 4 wheel drive has come in handy a few times.

Good for you! I'm Canadian too and when I first came to the States I took public transit for a year before I got my own car. That was back in Santa Rosa, CA and I don't have a mean thing to say about it. It was great!

I drive an '04 Hyundai Elantra. It's nothing special, but I own it, and don't have payments, so that's nice! My dream car is probably a hybrid SUV, but I'll wait until they have been around for a little while and come down in price.
