I'm so glad you started this thread! I just started my diet today....I can diet and lose weight but I HATE doing it! I'm not overweight, but since I'm planning on auditioning for a club in May(There are no clubs where I live currently, but there is one where I'm moving this summer) and I'd like to feel very confident and go down a size AKA finally lose that freshman 15!!!

I've done Weight Watchers, but I'm not joining the program since I already know it and can't afford to pay 10 bucks a meeting.

What's working for me so far: When I felt like that extra helping, I looked at hot dancer outfits/make-up a size lower than where I am now.....good inspiration heehee.

Good luck girls!

All you have to do it set goals for yourself and do your best.... let us know if you have questions...

Okay I have a confession... I gained four lbs while out at the bunny ranch last trip.... my goal is to lose it plus a few more lbs between now and the end of my next trip.

I drink a lot of coffee is that bad? That is main hang up and eating late since IO get home from work late. I need to get a good exercise routine back in my life now that I can start working out again. I need major help and wish that I had a workout buddy.

Hey guys, after dealing with some cold weather / holiday weight gain (more bloat than gain, technically) I am jumping BACK onto the weight-loss bandwagon. I wanted to share this smoothie recipe with everyone b/c it is versatile and quite filling and good for either breakfast, or a snack (like when your sweet tooth creeps up!). This has literally saved me from real weight gain the past week.

From Denise Austin:

1 cup fruit (i.e. small banana and 1/2 cup canned, fresh or frozen peaches)
1/2 cup fat free milk
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
2 tsp honey
1-2 ice cubes
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (<- my addition)
blend until smooth.

There are so many fruit combos your can come up with that it never gets old! I've been doing mango-peach lately. I also like cherry-peach. I've even done it w/o milk (fruit juice instead) and it's still very tasty. It also tastes good without the honey.

Just wanted to drag this thread back from the dead to announce I've a lost a few more lbs. I'm now at 152, down from 155 a few weeks ago. I finally got past my plateau and can hopefully lose another 15-20.
