I love Clinique Continuous Coverage Foundation. It is a concealer and foundation in one and will cover just about anything. I also like their stay matte powder. Clinique quickliner for eyes is a must for me. After 30 sec. is set on and won't rub off. Saves me from reapplying all night. For everyday use I tend to use less expensive foundation tho. I recently bought some Rimmel that has a great texture.

Indica, yes the foundations come in several shades, and the 'tv special' I got over the phone includes 2 shades in the range I chose. You can mix the shades to get the perfect color. If you order from the website everything comes in seperates - one shade with one applicator. That's no big deal for me because I have always had to keep a couple shades of foundation and mix them because I am sometimes more tan and sometimes less. Be sure to watch the instructional video to see how to apply! I tried it before watching the video and came out looking weird. It's very simple to apply, but you have to do it the way they say.
MAC!!! All time favorite ;)

I thought L'Oreal was the low end version of Lancome. I heard they are manufactured by the same company, but not necessarily the same. Like, Toyota manufactures Lexus, but there is definitely a difference between the two.
I really love Bare Escentuals makeup for foundation too. it's really awesome....makes my skin look smooth, dewey and clear, but I use it with liquid concealer because I don't get enough coverage for my dark circles and miscellaneous red spots. I found that if I put too much of the powder on to cover them, it looks cakey.
There are Bare Escentuals retail stores in some malls, so if you are interested in trying it out, you might be able to go that route. It's easy to get an exact match. I have three different colors that I mix together depending on the shade of my skin and the time of day (usually go lighter if I'm wearing it outside), but it blends so easily, so you can't go wrong. You don't get that "line".
Anyway, the informercial kit is a good way to get started. It's like half the price of buying everything retail. I like the blush and bronzer that comes with it too.

Make up artistry is a big interest of mine so I have played around with many brands. I use a lot of MAC, their lipsticks cannot be beaten. They contain much more pigment then any other brands. Love StudioFix, I go between NC42 & NC40, I also use carry their blot powder in Medium. Their liners are the best too! I love Stila's loose powder & their full coverage foundation is great also. As far as foundation goes, when I wear it I mainly use Covergirl Ultimate Finish Liquid Powder Makeup with a Vincent Longo foundation brush. I also love Revlon's Illuminance Creme Shadows. For mascara I absolutely love Kiss Me Mascara & for a drug store brand I use Maybelline Lash Expansion with a lash primer. I dust loose powder on my lashes before the primer. I really can't say enough about Kiss Me mascara, there is nothing else like it. The formula actually tubes each of your lashes and it washes off so easily. It actually looks like your lashes fell out when you look in the sink but it's just the little "tubes" of the mascara.
Matter of fact, I have to head on over to www.makeupalley.com. I bought Prescriptives False Eyelashes Mascara and don't like it at all, also I bought MAC Snob lipstick and don't like it as much as I thought I would. If you are a makeup junkie you will love makeupalley.com!

Oops, I forgot a few things. I really like Trade Secret's lip liners and lipsticks (I was told that they were made by the same manufact. as MAC). I can't live without Serious Skin Care's Skin Primer & MAC Matte in this hot weather. I also love Ben Nye's Red Reducer, it's great for blemishes and I also use it on my lips before my lipstick. Right now I am using a MAC concealer but have yet to find the "perfect" concealer. I am also dying to try out Alexis Vogel's line. She's the makeup artist that created Pam Anderson's "smokey" look.
Ok, I REALLY am a makeup "enthusiast"! :-[

Ok, I'll throw my hat into the ring here:
cleanser: She Amura Acnormal (I have combo skin)
moisturizer: avalon serum or vita-k solution
base: sally hansen air brush healing skin in beige, looks great
powder: sally hansen healing skin powder (includes retinol A)
eyeliner: liquid definitely, Face Stockholm is great, but I've had good results with some drugstore brands
lipstick: MAC, Loreal, Revlon: depends on the color
Secret: Bare Minerals Mineral Veil, whether you buy the whole line or not, the mineral veil helps "seal" everything together and keep everything in "place"
bronzer: Warmth by Bare Minerals, lightly dusted all over the face gives that great glow... use sparingly and gently
I love Lancome Juicy Tubes - great for lots of shine and barley there color.
Lancome Definicils mascara
Tip- heat eyelash curler with hair dryer before curling, just be careful! Don't get it too hot and don't touch the eyelid with it. Makes for excellent eyelashes.
Clinique Gentle Light foundation - has light reflecting particles for younger looking skin
MAC Studio Finish Powder
Estee Lauder blush
Estee Lauder eye liner in Soft Smudge Black
Lancome eye shadow
MAC lip liner in spice
I am a Free Gift junkie!!! ;D It has helped find different products that work for me.

Mary Kay all the way! It is so good for your skin. I don't ever wear make up when I am not working because Mary Kay leaves my skin healthy. I just love it!!
I do love the Lancome eye shadows though!!

Cheap make up is cool. But never cheap Mascara it will break your Lashes; Cheap foundations clog pores damage your skin. And looks cakey when I wear over the counter foundations, in the daylight outside it always looks no-good. many people have experienced this that's why I pay double for better. And cheap eye shadow don't stay on, you apply it on, see it then not too long it fades off.
