I've gone the, "It gets in the way of business" route a lot. I'll sometimes say, "The day I quit dancing will be the day I can have a relationship." I tell them that I am single by choice, but only because it makes me a better dancer. This is all bull, of course, but it lets them know that I am available to NO ONE. I even had a guy once tell me, "That's very noble of you." ;-)

You know, the word "relationship" is way overused. In fact, it is overworked.
It has become a meaningless buzz word. Nobody know really what it means anymore.
Why not use a word that has a more meaning like "friend", "lover", "fuck buddy", somehting that has a move concrete image?

The last time somebody asked me that, I told them, "Yeah, I got a fuck buddy/"
glah, glah glah. for a few more seonds, and I put in" And you want me to be your fuck buddy too, huh?" glah, glah, glah, "Ok. but its gonna cost ya."

So, what is the problem? Most guys can't afford me. That is the problem.
But their problem. Not mine.

I'm dating someone and I tell them the truth.
what does he think about it?
he thinks it's great.
I wouldnt't date a guy who won't take me as I am.
I tried the single thing one night, made less money-
but got tons of exciting (gack) opportunities to help a guy get some free sex. yay.
I know that the classic hustle advantage is to seem available,
and maybe it just works better for me....

I always tell them, I'd feel bad if I lied. It has never affected my money at all.

NEVER FAILS!!! Hear this... "yes I am married, 6 years, I'd never cheat on him but it drives him crazy me grinding my crotch on you and my tits in your face. You like that...another man's woman dancing just for you?" In reality, I'm not married, but it has yet to fail to do the trick for me. It's all a fantasy, read...LIE. Act, hustle, it's what we are there to do, and it is how we make our living. My life outside the club is no more relivant than an actress in Hollywood's life is to her character once she walks off the set. Works for me anyway.

I am married and i know the regulars see him drop me off at the club. So the regulars know that i am taken. But the people that just come in from time to time i tell them i single just so they might think that they have a chance. Even though that they dont. I like it when they think you will go out with them so they spend all there money on you tryin to impress you. ha ha fools.

This is the main reason I like dancing in clubs outside of my home town especially in another state. I have the perfect answer to that question and it is the truth:

I tell them I'm single and if they want to have coffee with me I remind them that I'm from out of town, not here for that long and am rostered to work almost every night as that is why I am here and the couple of nights I have off I spend with family [or friends] who live in [insert city]. There would be no way they could date me as I truely don't have the time.

Once again, making myself appear too busy to date allows me to feel like I'm letting them down gently without lying (compromising my integrity/sincereity) ;)
