OK first of all i agree 100% with BloodyDewDrop and farrah....... i think you need to read her post again......
Have you ever given any thought to the fact that if you focused more on your goals and less on this drama how far ahead you'll be ??
You followed my suggestion and apologized to the board. Now I hope you will also take my suggestion and focus on you and your goals.
FH
I honestly think that you shouldn't even consider getting into another relationship..... you have waaaaaay more important things to be dealing with right now i e. YOUR SELF.... you have to learn to love yourself first before any man will.
Now if ryan is abusive well than by all means drop his ass.... but getting into another relationship is just a big no no..... Trust me it won't work out because you will be bringing your baggage to it....
You are 19 yrs old and i think thats it time that you gain a lil independence.... Why don't you stay single? you can be good become friends with keith, even flirt a little and enjoy it.... it doesn't always have to go to the next level.
You pobably wont even listen to this advice because i believe that we all have to learn our own way but i'm not telling you this a mature adult with lots of life experience, this is coming from a girl who is your age (i'm 20) and believe me this is just adding more unnecessary drama to your life...... Work on #1 pls pls pls.
Seraya.

danielle,
Seraya is SO correct that this is the perfect time to work on yourself. You say you have a job lined up? That is GREAT news girl! It's step 1 towards achieving your goals. Starting to build you own finances and losing the weight you want CAN happen now.
Good Luck
p.s. Farrah, I really admire your stregnth and self-determination...you're an example to look up to. I hope your health gets better

In 2002 I was diagnosed with cancer and my weight ballooned from 113 to 186 ! The chemo medicines didn't help with the weight either, I walked around looking like a damn round pie face. Until one day I said screw this I am going to fight for what matters the most, my life, not what anyone else is doing thinking or feeling.
I got my supplements, a Taebo dvd and a pilates dvd..two months later I was back to my normal weight. I went back to dancing and back to school to get my second degree.
To this date I am still battling cancer, but at least I am strong enough to get up everyday and live my life.

FARRAH madcap and PP are right! We always seem to agree on the same things and i have always thought that you are great but after reading that i see that you truly are wonderful!
I am also sick not to your extent mind you.... but it didn't stop me either. I had the perfect excuse to not start college because i had just had surgery and spent the last few months before in hospital but 1 week after my operation i got out of my sick bed and started school... The operation wasn't successful and i am still sick to this day and waiting on my second surgery but i still went to school. I was 2 months late when i started and had soooooo much work to catch up on and it was soooooo hard but i did it!
I am now so proud of myself and i am proud of you too!

Danielle,
Please don't move to Texas. I don't think I could compete with you if you came to my strip club and automatically began making $1,000 EVERY night that you worked...while my nasty ass has to pick up your table scraps that you can afford to turn away due to your charm and glamour....
Love, Kat (They call me the Ukrainian Cowboy).....

Can you clarify what you mean by "get a man?" Are you content to be friends with him? Do you want a relationship? Do you just want to have sex with him every now and then?
Last night I made a list of traits that I would like in my next long term relationship. Here's a couple things from my list just as an example:
I want him to:
be a college grad
is not opposed to marriage
does not want kids any time soon
sets goals
affectionate
lets me drive his sports car
drink socially
cigars ok
etc.....
Maybe one would work for you as well. Bare minimum you'll see how Ryan (and anybody else) measures up.
Of course I'm flexible, just because somebody won't let me drive his sports car he won't be automatically excluded...maybe... :-*

Ok i see this thread jumped off topic.
SO, i will throw in my advice. First off hun you need to have a talk, (i mean major heart to heart) with Ryan. It all starts with that first talk, because that talk is either going to make of break your relationship.
Usually both parties will lay their cards out on the table. I hope this happens for you. You two either work things out, or go your seperate ways. Don't start a argument to make this happen, you need to hear him out.
Of course the pushing you on his part will have to stop, and think of anything you may be doing to make matters worse two.
Jumping into another relationship right after a breakup is not good, unless you just want sex. You need time to sort your feelings out.
BUT.....Becoming friends with this guy first is the best way to "get a man."
Good luck,
Pamela
ok so now I feel loved :) :grouphug: heehe

well i have been up there a few night and i guess him and his women had a talk and i think thing between those 2 have patched up so im shit outa luck i guess , ( even though i still think shes a spoild bitch that needs to stay home and take care of her kid insted of going to a bar thats 20 miles away ( they are from atlantic ( 20 miles away)) so i think im just ganna do nothing any more and stop going up there. cause she is always up there now and i feel very out of place with her being there.
but.. ryan and me's relashionship is still shit hes still being a ass. and playing his same old shit.
its 2 am and im ganna go grosery shopping i dont want to be in this house it drives me nuts! talk to you all later
isnt everything far away from you? your gonna go grocery shopping at 2am? 20 miles for groceries? yikes... hehe

I see that you keep mentioning how much of an asshole your boyfriend is. But don't you think you're being kind of an asshole by looking for a new boyfriend behind his back? Why don't you just break up with him and move out if you hate him that much?

Zoey, you might have more luck with men if you better yourself a little.
I respectfully suggest you look into attending some remedial education classes as it appears from your posts that you may not have completed your secondary education (high school) and if you did graduate, the school district in your area is in sad shape because they did not prepare you properly at all.
This is nothing to be ashamed in the least, that is unless you choose to stay this way.
When people are educated they tend to make better choices in life and that includes relationships.
So zoey what are you going to do then?

H***, I am educated (BS degree) and I still went for the bad boy musician wife-beater type. I think it has more to do with environment than education, although that is certainly a factor. If my dad had not been a musician and an alcoholic molestor, and my mother had not been the classic victim (chasing my drunk father around and putting up with his abuse), I think I would've been a well-adjusted, intelligent individual with a somewhat "normal" life. When I met my bf, I was still very naive, despite my education. I had never met anyone quite so open-minded or talented, and I quickly became trapped in his web. Little did I know he had been sexually, physically, and emotionally abused beyond what I can describe in this post. It was worse than Hitler... and he was determined he was going to repay the favor. The relationship was extremely volatile, to say the least. He brought out the worst in me, and I in him. Although, I think he is so sick, it will eventually come out with anyone. I feel really bad for him, even after all he did to me, but I can't sacrifice myself for him. I tried to help him actually, but he was certain that he was smarter than me in every way ( not even close). He wouldn't listen to anything I said. My point is that your relationship seems to be very similar to the one I had. Jim is right Zoey, in order to get a good man you have to be a good woman. Start concentrating on you and stop worrying about men. Read books. I wish I would have. You will regret the time you lost if you continue to carry on in this manner. Set some goals. Further your education. Make some friends that will be a good influence on you. :)
