I do my nails and waxing. The hair is the most important for me. It has to have curls and it takes me 30 min to do it..(sigh)

I love makeup. Putting on makeup makes me feel good.
I also love getting my hair done...I wish I could make it look as good as the hair dresser does.
I think whatever makes you feel good about yourself is going to make you more money. :)

Wow, I'm jealous. I'm really lazy compared to many of you. No plastic surgery, exercise for me is work and house cleaning, I do my own nails, and not as often as I should, but I avoid having chipped nailpolish and I do my fingernails in a pearly white color so the little imperfections are hardly noticable. I keep my hair simple, and I go for the Cost Cutters $10 trim. I don't use hairspray and I rarely blowdry.
But I'm a big sleeper. I wear a lot of makeup at work. But I'm thrifty and efficient, so that means I buy good cheap makeup, and I don't buy a gazillion outfits. Actually, I only wear one for lengths of time, before I buy a new one. I think it's most important to be clean and freshly showered. I don't know how many girls I know don't wash their outfits before work, and don't shower before work. That's where I draw the line. It really doesn't matter how many costumes you wear, as long as the one you have looks good on you.
Hey, I know it may sound bad, but it works for me, I make a lot of money in the clubs I work at, and the customers love me. You don't have to be perfect to be a good stripper, or spend a million dollars. But for the girls that do, like I said, I'm a little jealous of your ambition. I'm not even gonna go into my eating habits, and although a day at the spa sounds like heaven, I will probably never pay for one myself. Shopping's fun, I should do it more often. I particularly like thrift stores and Ross. But I just can't bring myself to spend $100 on a handbag, shirt, sunglasses, shoes, etc. Seems excessive to me. I hit up the sale/clearance racks first and a buy a season behind. LOL

Wow, i really need to take better care of myself after reading the posts here. I usually do my own hair about once a week to save some money. I put a few extensions in using bonding glue, even though i have long hair but it lack volume. And I really need to EXERCISE and eat healthier. Makeup definitely helps me make some money.

Hair and Nails: I am growing my hair long again, I truly need to keep up on the trims better. I do my own nails since I can't stand going in and having someone mess them up. They look nice natural.
Make-up: I don't use much. Just enough to even my skin tone and make my face visible at work. I seem to be allergic to most make ups and they clog my pores!
Shopping: I go when I can get someone else to pay!
Plastic Surgery: Got my boobs done and love them! Plan on getting my nose done someday. Not in a hurry since I can live with it, but if I have the money then I'll do it!
Exercise: As much as I can! I don't usually go to the gym. Walk, pilates, some yoga, whatever suits my mood.
Spa: Don't I wish!! Can't afford/won't spend that much
Beauty Sleep: often sleep too much
Eating Healthy: I'm really good at this. I usually avoid things that make my breath stink too, but messed up somewhere the last couple days! I can taste it! Yuck!!!

Oh yeah, I get a Brazilian, and I attempt to stay tan. I'll stop tanning when my package is up though. I don't want cancer!! I'm allergic to the other fake tanning things, so white it will be!

When I as dancing full time I would tan on a sunbed several times a week, get my hair done once a week, exercise regularly (mainly on stage) and got my nails done once but regretted it afterwards.

Well, I'm pretty "low-mantance" compared to some of your girls, LOL.
I tan maybe 2 times a month, I have my hubby cut, color and put extentions in my hair.(He does an awesome job, and he has done some of the other girls at work hair too)
Nails, I usually do them myself, but I do enjoy a day at the salon every now and again.
They are always either french top and bottom or black with flames.
Spa, never been but I keep hoping someone, someday will spoil the shit outta me and take me there,LOL.
Shopping, I hate it. Well, the mall anyway. I usually go to the thrift stores 1st, then work my way up from there. I will shop for anyone and everyone before I go for me.
Surgery, I was thinking one of these days, I want my tummy done, and maybe my boobs (after the FDA approves the newest slilcone ones). But nothing yet.
Eating, I try to stick to a healthier diet, but I backslide and eat ice cream or doughnuts, or maybe fast food (NEVER McDanald's though EVER!!!) Maybe a sub from Subway, or a salad from Wendy's.
Exercise, YES!!! I work out with free weights, 2 or 3 times a week. I dance, and do yoga 4 or 5 times a week. I lost 50lbs, in 6 months from this and it really works. But I am searching for another Tai Chi instructor, I can't find one I like in this area.
Sleep, I am so good with 7 hours a day plus a 2 hour nap sometime in that 24. But only on the days I work, do I do the nap thing.

Damn McDonald's! I just had 2 egg mcmuffins and a hash brown. Ah, I can almost feel the arteries hardening as I type!

LOL I used to love their food till I saw that movie "Supersize Me". If you haven't seen it go rent it today, it will scare the hell out of you.
The guy went on a 30 day McDee's diet and his liver almost failed on him because of it. He also gained 24.5 lbs, and went into major depression, his cholostorol went through the roof and he was really really sick.
The Dr.'s in the movie said the same thing can happen to anyone if they eat this food at all, but it just happens over a slower amount of time. It jst really scared me, since my kiddo is a McDee's junkie, LOL.

Oh, I also play softball, and work in my yard too.

Yeah, I downloaded it the other day, but only watched the beginning and end so far. I was thinking about it going through the drive thru, but figured as infrequently as I eat it, 2 little bitty egg mcmuffins probably won't kill me. I can't help it. I love those damn things.

Why don't you make them at home, my hubby loves them too. He will eat 4 of them if I let him. So I just make then once a week in bulk and put them in the fridge.
Take a package of english muffins, lightly toast them and then cook the egg and bacon, ( ham or sausage) then put it all together with the cheese.
We save a little money and it's better for him too.
This is just a thought, LOL not trying to stop you from your love.

I hate to cook, I actually hate the kitchen. But for a lazy, kitchen-avoiding chick like me, your idea is great! Only have to do it once and I get 6 egg mcmuffins! And I bet my arteries would be better off. Thanks girl! See, I just don't think of this stuff myself, I'm no Betty Crocker, by far!
K, I feel bad for getting so far off topic, sorry.

More than anything else I think working out and being in shape makes the biggest difference.

Oh man. I so need a spanking or something. I am a bad, bad stripper. I do none of these things! I work wearing only mascara and lip gloss. I buy new stuff if I happen to be walking by it. No wonder everyone here makes more money than me!
Oh! I get my eyebrows waxed. I hate doing it myself (it just hurts so much!). And I recently made the decision not to colour my own hair anymore, because it looks really bad. So we'll see how that goes. If it works out, I might committ to some exercise (I really ought to do that. I would hate to reach 50 and have to start from scratch).

Me to like Rhiannon
"I do them all, except for the plastic surgery I picked excersize. Not only does it help me keep in shape, but I feel totally invigorated afterwards. " ;)

How's all of the above except for plastic surgery but I'm saving for some fantastic implants as we speak...not so much for dancing but for ME ME ME...I've always wanted them so now I'm finally letting myself do it...anybody with a good/great chicago area referral would be really appreciated...of all the things listed I have to say exercise and eating right are the 2 biggest things...it's crazy how quickly you body changes for the better when you "do it right"
