My first job at 16 was a hostess in a hotel restaurant. I hated it and sucked at it. Then I moved the reseravations for about 3 years and got sick of dealing with the people on the phone and then went into accounting there. I left for law school, dropped out, and got another accounting job. I worked at two more accounting jobs after that (total 10 years ugh!) and never really realized how I hated sitting all day in a cubical until I got my current job which is as a court reporter. I have bad days sometimes but really like my job in general. I've never been a dancer, never had the nerve. The most I do is dance on stage in front of a dj at a party or something fully clothed for fun!

Oh, goodness, here's my resume:
Under age 14:babysitter
Age 16: volunteer at nursing home, they eventually hired me.
age 17-21 several nursing homes, home health care of a paraplegic, and traveling home health nurse
At one point, I quit nursing to babysit again, that lasted only a month, another time, I quit nursng to work at Sheetz convience store( why? Lord knows) That lasted about 2 months.
So I have been a nurse all my life. I have cared for children with mental disorders, cerebral palsy, and one child with Multiple medical disorders. She was basicially a vegetable, blind, mute, severly retarded, feeding tube, tracheostomy, the works. She was also born with no skin on her face, and although that was grafted on, she had no eyelids and had to have constant eyedrops applied. I took care of a man who refused to bathe for 4 months before I could have him committed to a nursng home against his will, by that time, it was to late. 4 months of peeing and pooping in his bed withotu proper cleaning left him with terrible bedsores that feces had gotten into, and he died a short time later due to severe infections.
A year before moving to Vegas, I became a stripper, giving up nursing. Once in Vegas, I continued to strip, takign short breaks to be a cocktial waitress at some of the best casinos in Vegas. I never went back to nursimng becuase couldn't find a job out here that paid me as well as the jobs I had in Pa. ( I had gotten a lucrative position for my qualifications, and that position isn't offered out here)
SO that's me. Nurse/stripper.

I practically grew up in the restraunt biz (and I'm sure will dabble in it again someday...it steals your soul). My first job was bussing tables, then I scooped ice cream for a while. Then back to bussing tables. I waitressed for a while, but got fired because I was working for the crazy bitch that practically owned the town, plus got of on shotting her husband (I'm not sure how many times, but enought for her to reload...twice) while he was in the tub, in self defense. Then I was a barista (it was an awesomely chill job, I got all the free coffee drinks, pastrieds and gelato my lil stomach could handle, and I could go smoke pot on the ocean during my break) but it paid like $6.75 an hour.
I was also a house keeper for a few months, cleaning people pubes out of a bath drain is not for me. I had a very short experience in retail in a little tourist shop (I grew up in a tourist beach town) then finally back into waitressing which I stayed in until I said fuck that I'm gonna go be a stripper.

20-23 - directory assistance operator. Went through CSR, Lead CSR and Manager and ran the hell out of there!
23-24 - Customer Care Manager for Pocket Communications (local phone company in south TX). Ironically, got fired for being too flirty with coworkers there. Flipped 'em the bird and started stripping, where I get PAID to be flirty!
Learned a helluva lot about myself from working in call centers, especially how to talk to people and avoid drama. However, and I say it with a totally straight face, it was by far more demeaning and soul-crushing than stripping could ever be for me. ;D
