I started dancing at 19 and "retired" at 26.
I started dancing 4 years ago this August. I am 29 years old and often times have been told I look early twenties. I will most likely dance another 1 1/2 years and continue buying Real Estate.

started in the biz when i was about 23-24 as a bartender( was preggo with my second daughter) after she was born and lost some of the weight i gave dancing a try (was 25 at that time). I have been dancing now for almost 6 yrs (soon to be 31 urghhh) but within that time I have also been housemom and until just recent still bartending. Thinking of giving up at around 35............ 10 yrs should be enough for me ......maybe lol

I started dancing when I was 20 and I am 22 now. I wish I would of started when I was 18. But honestly I think I was too immature at that age to handle it. I want to quit dancing when I am thirty. That will give me ten good years in this industry. Dancing is the best job ever!!! :D

Age is relative. I've met "young" dancers and I've met "old" dancers. By "young" I mean 18-22 years old and by "old" I mean 28+ years old.
Honestly, I prefer the "older" dancers. They seem more personable. The "young" ones seem to be too much hustle.
I have a dancer friend that I've know for about three years. She turned 30 this past November. She still looks great and makes good money. The oldest dancer I know is 47. I met her about six years ago when she worked at another club and was amazed when I found out her age. I was even more amazed when I found out she was still dancing. Yes, she's old enough to be most of the other dancer's mother, but I still wouldn't pass up a dance with her.
As long as you're having fun, making money, and able to dance... keep dancing.

i still don't dance yet didn't even consider it until my fiance met some people downtown and the young woman happened to be a dancer. she was hanging out with her brother and my fiance just happened to meet them. she told him to tell me to talk to her about it if i was interested especially since at the time neither of us was working and such. i'm still not working and his boss don't pay him properly at his job. i'm 25 now- that's not bad is it?
