I can't even guess lets just say it's gotta be at least 1-2 inches a month easy .. it's insane how fast my hair and nails have grown. Plus my hair looks super healthy and thick. Just try it for 3 months and I bet it will become part of your normal beauty routine.
Sweet! Thanks. I will start having one for breakfast. :)

I get around 4" cut off every 4-6 weeks, so I guess right around 3" a month?

I dunno if wal-Mart still carries them, I just order off the web site.

I know I look suspicious considering this is my first post, but I just discovered this board and I decided to order the vitamins from Herbal Remedies.

I ordered from them on May 21st, and have yet to receive my order, they didn't respond to my emails or calls.

I'm filing a dispute through PayPal and the BBB, and I looked them up on the BBB, they have an F rating.

Here's the report:

If you search under Health Remedies on the Better Business Bureau website, you will see their name and address pop up in the results

Hopefully, this will save some trouble for those who were going to order from Herbal Remedies. It's sad because I got really excited after reading this thread, but from now on, I'm ordering straight from the company or from those with A ratings by the BBB

Does anyone know if these are available in Canada?

I just finished Nioxin Hair Vitamins, 90 days of them! I see a significant difference in length, and I am noticing the baby hairs popping up, but nothing really amazing. I saw the best results a few years ago doing just super high biotin by itself. So, I just started today BioSil (pure absorbable silica) and 5mg of Biotin which is very high. The lady at Whole Foods said that biotin by itself is different than the type that already comes in multi vitamins and what not, so we'll see. I am taking my fish oils, alpha lipoic acid before meals, a multi vitamin, vitamin D (2000 IU), Relora, my diet pills, pure DMAA (geranium oil, helps lose weight) and a nightly diet pill (I know, it's weird!) I no longer take antioxidants because I am juicing twice a day at least and eating blueberries and goji berries with my yogurt or quinoa in the morning, as well as chugging down some green tea. I'll let you guys how all this works out for hair, skin and nails. Also, I asked about the Wal Mart hair pills at Whole Foods, the California Naturals brand or whatever and they basically laughed in my face and told me they're too good to carry those, in different words of course.

I stop taking these pills 2 years ago..I found a faster easier way to grow out my locks which also benefits my skin as well. Every morning I eat 1 hard boiled egg... sounds funny but it works believe me:D

I can now attest that this works. It works really well, plus its good for you.

I just ordered 2 bottles, and am super psyched to try them out. Will post my results. I have horrible breakage and weirdly enough, my hair grows much better on the left side of my head. It's a lot thinner, more prone t breakage and shorter on the right side. I've had it cut to correct the imbalance dozens of times, but it keeps growing in this way, ever since I cut it really short when I was 18. I hope I finally found the answer!
I'm amazed these pills are still available and still only $5!

I had a friend text me this week about a hair product her hairdresser recommended & I looked up the product to see what the ingredients were & it seemed to look like it would work. It was HairGain for Women & with vitamins it had a DHT blocker Pregnenolone. DHT causes hair lose...

Update- almost a month later and I still have not received my order. I ordered them January 15th. Today is February 12th. Apparently, these pills are being shipped from the fucking moon. Unacceptable.

Update- After complaining to California Naturals, I finally got my pills yesterday. I ordered them January 15th and received them February 18th. The company has a 30-day return policy, so....I'm calling shenanigans. SHENANIGANS!

At last, I can start taking the pills! Will report back with results.

BTW-checked my local walmart, and it looks like they still sell them, but of course they were all out.

Update-
Ok, I have been taking 2 pills a day for about a month now (February 19th) and I can say for certain my hair IS growing faster.
I color my hair regularly, so I've been measuring my roots. My baseline growth is about 1/2 inch per month.
My roots are now growing at a rate of 1 inch per month.
I dyed my hair one week after starting taking the pills, waited two weeks and measured my roots. Sure enough I had 1/2 inch of growth in only 2 weeks!
I dyed my hair again one week ago, and I already have 1/4 inch of new roots.
It will probably be a few more months before I can tell if my hair is getting noticeably longer. I guess I still need to address my breakage problem. :(

My nails are undeniably growing faster as well, as I have acryllics, so it is very obvious. I haven't actually kept track of their normal growth rate though.

I have not noticed any difference in the growth of my body hair yet, but I have been trying to thicken my eyebrows for a few years. I had really over-plucked them to the point of tiny bald spots on my eyebrows. They seem to be filling out more. Not that I'm getting bushier eyebrows than I had before, but maybe I'm getting back the hairs that wouldn't grow anymore.

I ordered more about a week ago, and even emailed to ask if my order had been shipped, but haven't gotten any response.
SashaKitty I got the same runaround with them, some bs about having the wrong address. I made sure it was correct this time, so there's no excuse for it to take a month this time. Hmmm why do I feel like I shouldn't hold my breath?
I'm happy with the product, it's a great price, but the customer service SUCKS.

Oh! I also thought it was worth mentioning, that a long-haired friend of mine who often gives me beauty advice, recently asked me if I had been doing anything different because my hair looked healthier and seemed to be taking a curl better than it used to.
Now, I have to admit, I have been using a different conditioner for a few months now (I've only been taking the pills one month, and the comment was made about a week ago by a friend I see about once a month), and it would make more sense to give the conditioner the credit for any improvement to my existing hair, but I thought I'd include her comment and its timing in case anyone thought that might be interesting or relevant. :)
