The second club I worked at there was a girl from Europe who was bigger, BUT she was totally NUTS!!! She could bank like no other , but when she got on stage it was just ALL wrong. She danced like a showgirl half the time, the other half like she was grinding the biggest dick in the world. She didn't quite get the whole American slow sexy ways to dance. Things jiggled that were not suppose to jiggle. (No offense to the rest of you that consider yourself large, she was an exception, she was nuts)

I wear a size 13, I am 5'9, 150lbs................but I am solid and I dont have a stomach either. Sure, I have a few men (3 this week since I have started this new club) leave the stage since I've started working at a non black club with women half my size, but more ppl then not tell me I have a brickhouse body, I think my confidence on stage makes a difference, everyone cant be a size 2..........I'm not sweating it, women are beauties at any size, a little cushion is good..............not obese..................thats not good.

Confidence is the most important quality for making money. As far as being bigger,it seems that men prefer that generally over being model waif-thin.

I agree with M&M on this one. I think that girls can do well in our industry if they are bigger, but for the most part, you should be in your "fighting weight" so to speak.
I have done much better at work since I have toned up a little more.

I agree with Big MnM. Its not a matter of weighing a certain amount, its being in proportion.
Guys will tell a girl anything she wants to hear if they think he might have a chance.
That being said I've been pushed out of the way for a guy to get to a big girl many times, but not as much as I've been pushed out of the way for a guy to get to the really toned chick with huge implants...........

Very, very good point.

I guess my personal worry i that i feel i have to be what can never be attained. it feels like your supposed to have long slim legs, curvy hips and butt, flatter than flat stomach and huge but pert boobs. i hate it cos if i put on weight to get curves i get a big jelly belly too but if i try and have a flat stomach (which is proving impossible for me) then il have no other curves. i have to admit im not very confident but im a good enough actress to make the world (and future customers) think that im happy about myself. what im trying to say is i have a major hang up about my stomach not being flat and i equate a flat stomach to success. it doent matter what the rest of ur body is like (within reason) as long as you have a flat stomach. And I cant achieve this flat stomach so Im concerned what people will think, not just in the club but in everyday life. Wow i go on sorry lol

Guys like all different shapes and sized. Some guys don't care what you weigh-as long as your naked. There is a few girls at my club who aren't your stero-typical stripping size-but they have there regulars and fans just like everyone else. Infact, just Last Night the one had more Champagne Courts than anyone else. It just depends on the auidence.

Have you looked at yourself with 6 in heels on? Wearing heels over 4" automatically tweeks your posture, you belly looks flatter and curves are accentuated. Think of walking tall, that also might help. As for me I have seen thicker dancers and guys love em. But I think they love their pride, appreciate their self confidence and body might be on that list to.

I am so glad I read the threads for this subject. I am 5'4 averaging 155-160lbs. (36C-28-42) I don't consider myself "fat" but I am thick and curvy. I am more motivated to dance now that I know there are some other Real Women who dance. I am now in Las Vegas and this place is a far cry from the East Coast were they really do appreciate curvy women (not just big boobs). Here on the West Coast it seems a lot of people are going for the Playboy model look or like the Barbie Twins. It can be intimidating at times but hopefully us curvy women will get the accolades we deserve. Nothing against the Svelte Model Type, or the Pam Anderson's but beauty does come in ALL shapes, sizes, and colors shouldn't we ALL be recognized as such? Beautiful that is.
("Why when people talk about nice big butts they always use J-lo as an example? Have we forgotten that African American woman have had nice big butts since existance?")
