I'm 6 ft barefoot and 6'6''-6'8'' in my heels. I'm also athletic (no body builder, but look like I can hold my own/pretty solid). I find either men love it or they're scared, but they always have a reaction (usually positive) and they remember me. I'd definitely say it works in my favor.
Although I do definitely have to check stage heights at new clubs. I've worked at 2 where I didn't quite fit... Lol!
Also, I have an afro, BUT I wear a long tyra-esque wig at work. Custies at work (and a few dancers too) knows I have natural hair unless I tell them.

people tell me all the time that I look too inncocent to dance, not innocent in a sexy schoolgirl way, but innocent in a why are you here and not teaching kindergarden way.....
Yeah that's what people often told me when I first started dancing...before the implants, before I started wearing sexier outfits and heavier make-up. Although they meant innocent in a why are you here and not IN kindergarten way LOL. When I first started, I had a very tall and skinny frame, pale skin, long brown hair, and nearly flat-chested. I generally wore colorful innocent outfits such as tropical print dresses, pastel colors, outfits with cherries, and things that someone might be able to pull off wearing OTC or at the beach...this was partly because I didn't have a good budget for outfits, or the body to wear seductive corsets and such. I was also very shy, quiet, and kept my stories about drug experiences or other corrupt topics to myself, so people stereotyped me as being this good girl. Nowadays, my hair is usually a dark red(although it's lighter now in the summer) and cut shorter, sometimes I even get it curled by the hair stylist. I wear more lingerie-looking outfits and evening gowns. I feel that I resemble a "typical stripper" look more now than before, however I am different because not many dancers have red hair, and some of my outfits show that I am a "rocker chick" as customers will sometimes tell me. I get frequent compliments on my boobs, which I never got before the surgery, so I play up my boobs more now on stage and during dances, whereas before I focused more on my ass. Which by the way, my ass has gotten smaller/flatter since my surgery... :-\ ...has anyone else had this happen before?

Holy shit! Is it real noticeable?(cause some girls show more during pregnancy than others) I remember watching Jerry Springer a few years ago, and there was a guy on the show who wanted his pregnant girlfriend to stop stripping. She was 5 months pregnant, but you couldn't tell in the least, she was still thin and trim! Do the pregnant girls make money?
