Thanks for all the info GCG!
I'm going to travel more for work when I return to Australia especially if Sydney is still crap. I have to go to Sydney 1st to move the rest of my stuff but after that I'm thinking Adelaide might be nexton my list... good idea do you think or is Melbourne a safer option $ wise?

Melbourne is a safer option $-wise however it is worth checking out other places as your experience may be different to mine. If you do go to Adelaide, The Palace is a safe-bet for hiring and they offer a little something (last time I was there they would offer to pay half of your accommodation costs) to "out of town" dancers if they work 5 or more nights in a week.

Next time I was going to Adelaide I was going to give 108s a try (supposedly a small club located near Crazy Horse). Crazy Horse is a great club if you have a title esp. if it's a Miss Nude title .... as there is good money to made on the main stage. Otherwise you're left with the crappy side stages to make money.

Personally, Darwin (only during Dry Season), Canberra (Sinsations as the other 'strip clubs' are not strip clubs) and Adelaide (108s and give The Palace another try) are cities I want to visit next year (no time this year) to dance within and 'check out'....

I'm hoping to have the chance to check out Electric Blue Girls located in Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast) either in September or October for a week (they're open Wednesday to Sunday).

Thanks - I'll see how much I make when I return to Sydney but I guess melbourne should be next on the list. I want to go to places I haven't really been to like a working holiday but i think first i need to get ahead again financially... god i can't beleive I'll be leaving here soon!!!

Okay.. update to my Kalgoorlie information... airfare is NOT included only one or two meals and accommodation. I repeat: only one or two meals and accommodation is included in re: being a Skimpy in Kalgoorlie. It is just too expensive for the publicans over there to fly (return) an East Coast girl in as well as pay her wages.... and even meals and accommodation. It's too much to ask... esp. since the publicans will only 'chip in' around $100 for the airfare... *sigh*

I just got to hope that I receive the better pubs this time around so that the tips can really help elevate my weekly earnings.

i've read some of your other reviews on clubs, and judging on that, i'm pretty sure you'd hate 108. unless you like selling $3 raffle tickets all night for guys to win lapdances on stage in a dingy little pool hall where they take 25% commission from everything you earn. i worked there for 2.5 years. it's a great place to start out if you're new to the industry, but for a girl such as yourself who seems very professional and likes classier clubs, i'd definitely give it a miss. it's really, really not the kind of place that appeals to travelling dancers.

Darcy, thank you sooo much! I might stick with The Palace then whenever I am in Adelaide. I remember them mentioning to me that they will put something towards my accommodation if I work 5 or more nights a week.... since I ususally stay within female only backpacker/hostel dorms then I figured that they could easily pay for all my accommodation (since it would work out to $150 per week).

I'll find out more when/if I go to Adelaide. ;)

i definitely think the palace is probably your best option. i've never actually worked there (other than competing there in a Hustler competition), but it's definitely a lot more of a 'professional' and 'classy' club than 108. there's another gentlemen's club in adelaide called 'the firm' (located on north terrace, opposite the casino), which i think is pretty similar to the palace. i'm pretty sure at the firm it's lots of lingere dancing on stage, and i don't think you ever actually have to get naked in the club, just in the lap rooms, which is kinda cool. that's one of 108's biggest downfalls - a group of guys pay $30 for a table dance (you get $20) and you dance fully nude on that table, meanwhile 50 other guys who have spent no money on you at all can just walk over to the table and watch the dance. there's no podiums, no stage for performing (just a stage with 2 chairs where guys sit for a lapdance if they win the ticket draw)

At the moment I'm sticking to Kalgoorlie as I do the shows 'on the side' and even if I get only one or two shows a week that makes it lucrative for me (earning nearly $2000 including wages, "titty kitty" tips and shows) and Melbourne (strip clubs).

I'll check out Darwin next year. I want to give Sinsations in Canberra a go as it might be a nice little earner....?? Adelaide is on my list to give a go (I'll stay at Tatts or Blue Galah this time round). I just require one or two more locations which I go back to regularly through-out the year so I don't get bored and my income is rather steady/consistent.

Okay, well I'm back from my second trip to Kalgoorlie. I stayed an extra week thinking it would be worth it however just like the trip as a whole... it wasn't. :( I made under a grand profit after all expenses (airfare in/out, taxis, all food expenses, etc) are taken into account esp. the fact that I had to pay (approx) $150 more in airfare to stay the extra week.

Financially it wasn't worth it and this caused me alot of anguish whilst I was over there. The only positive :) is that I learnt alot about myself and what I can and can't handle in re: Skimpy work.

For instance, I can handle alot of hours (and/or being in an isolated SMALL town like Kambalda (http://www.walkabout.com.au/locations/WAKambalda.shtml)) in my first week.... however in my second and third weeks I would prefer the skimpy work to be secondary to shows. In my first week I am a skimpy and then in the following weeks I would much prefer to be a stripper first (and do shows) with the skimpy work 'on the side' (or only around 10-15 hours)

I'm really REALLY tossing up whether to go back in November... with the agency I'm with or try out "the other agency" (mentioned in the Kalgoorlie thread).... or to just go to Melbourne (strip clubs).

I'm definately planning to go back to Melbourne for 10 nights (work 8 nights) in October prior to Indy for a nice little monetary boost (hopefully) .... as well as the fact that I actually missed certain aspects about club dancing. I like how I'm more in charge of what I can earn in a club than when I'm a skimpy.

I get burnt out too easy as a Skimpy compared with being a stripper. That's what I learnt about myself... I am a stripper first and foremost (it is what I'm talented at). I won't give up on Skimpy work totally as it can be quite lucrative.... I'm still learning about it all that's all.

;D Verrry happy to be back home!! ;D

I'm glad to be back home.... over the moon now that I received the news from my accoutant that I will be due a refund... and I'm not talking a couple of hundred dollars... over $8000 refund (tax) !!!

Now I won't have to go for that $5000 loan and will be able to easily afford a decent first car so I can (finally!) be eligible for more bookings via the agencies here (and therefore increase my income and maybe reduce how much I travel)... oh yeah... and finally get my poor little moped motorcycle/scooter serviced!

I'm very glad to be back home now. ;D

Getting that refund has allowed me to kick start my plan.... $$ to incorporate myself and $$ for a car.. are the first two steps. Also $$ to finally update my dancer wardrobe (more costumes for the agency shows as well as dresses for work .. and maybe a second pair of heels)... I couldn't be happier right now.

Let's not forget... $$ to invest!!!! ;D

I'm thinking that I might give it a go (do my Dorothy Wizard of Oz show as that's easily transportable compared to my Slave Leia/Star Wars one). I'll be in Melbourne Oct 8th until Oct 19th. If I'm in the final, no biggie.. I'll book my ticket a day later (as I am planning to be back home on the 19th due to Indy) and just stay an extra night or two for it.

Hey Goldcoast Girl

I dare you to come over and give the Crazy Horse a try rather than just talk about it in this forum. It may or may not be the place for you but until you try it you wont know.

I try and stay out of the politics of the clubs around Adelaide, but here's a little run down.
108 is a pub/club where if you are lucky you may do a proper show if not you will be stuck with selling raffle tickets to get your dances. You might have to check that as they have recently gone through change of management and might have upgraded to compete against the other clubs on the street. Though word on the street is that the club is already for sale again, but this may just be gossip.
The Palace is a glitsy glamour place yes, but from the word of alot of girls that have worked there the rules are strict and you can get fined for doing absolutely bugger all. But if you can hussle, i'd say there is money to be made.

Now down to the Crazy Horse, these crappy podiums on the side and back as you put it can make you some good money if you play your cards right. Good money can be made on good and bad nites at the club. I even made a $50 tip for playing a song for a Russian customer in the VIP area.

Anyway i thought i'd have my say. If you do decide to venture our way say hello!

Due to the Blokesworld "Miss Nude Downunder" competition I will be heading to Melbourne just prior to Indy. I may not be able to give Crazy Horse a go until January/February next year.

Down to Melbourne, back home for Indy and Melbourne Cup week then a week in Biloela (giving it a go so I can keep my options open) followed by three weeks Skimpy work in WA... home for the month of December (agency work only)... then back to travelling in January.

As for The Palace, even tho' I did have a horrific experience there one night (it's in my memory forever), I really didn't mind the place overall. The only downside is that there really is no point in selling VIP dances as you (the dancer) receive the same amount of $$ as you would if you sold a normal (shared room) private lap dance. Plus I do remember something about them telling me if I work 5+ nights each week they will 'help out' with my accommodation costs. The thing with Crazy Horse is that the "Mega Strip" I saw one night when I visited kinda shocked me. I didn't really like it tho' I can see how it can be helpful in selling.

Whilst I take your word that the secondary stages can be lucrative... I would feel a little robbed that I couldn't be on the main stage even once every night I worked. I love to perform and can be very entertaining ..... oh well... I hope I would just be too busy with private dances for it to worry me. ;) ;D

I plan on giving Crazy Horse a decent go the next time I'm in Adelaide for work. If it doesn't work out for me, I could always go to The Palace as a back-up. :)

January is open so far so I may go then.... yes, I know it is cold of a night during the summer in Adelaide. Learn that lesson very well when I worked there (@ The Palace) in February this year

GoldCoastGirl dont take this as an insult but do you see yourself as a showgirl or a podium girl. Because to work on the main stage of the Crazy Horse you need to come in as a showgirl and to be honest from where i'm seeing things, there arent that many new Showgirls around Australia anymore. I noticed this at the Miss Nude Australia pageant this year and was shocked as to how things had changed and how girls were trained. I know that statement was a little off track but i just felt like making it.

As for the Megastrip, or as our Canadian Feature call it 'Cattle Call', doesn't Bar 20 still do one in Melbourne and im sure some of the other Clubs around Australia do them. But again the Crazy Horse is based on overseas clubs and we are still old school. Where as alot of the newer clubs in Australia, including The Palace are basing themselves around Podium stages and mega amount of girls.

Natalia108 i have noticed the changes on the outside of the club and must say it looks good so far. But i must also say that i really only enjoyed 108 when it was up the road and downstairs. It was a great club then, much smaller and always had an atmosphere plus always something happening. But since i havent been in the place for a little while i'll try and come and say hello

That's far from an insult. ;D I'm both. I say that as I'm adaptable as not every club I have worked within over the years requires showgirls. I do have my Slave Leia 'show' which is a bit more show than my Dorothy 'Wizard of Oz' show however both are still show-y. I did enter the Hustler 'Showgirl of the Year' competition in my state (was 1st runner up hence the 'Hottie' title) as well as Exotic Angels (state finalist). I missed out on the Miss Nude this year. Hoping to enter the Blokesworld Miss Nude Downunder competition @ Bar20 in October when I'm down there (btw I work Spearmint Rhino mainly when in Melbourne).

Oh yeah, I'm also a showgirl due to the fact that I do 'shows' in re: agency work. They may or may not involve patrons therefore I'm also developing a few more (School Girl, Arabian/Belly Dancer, Roman Slave Princess, Cheerleader, 20s Flapper). ;)

...doesn't Bar 20 still do one in Melbourne and im sure some of the other Clubs around Australia do them...

Bar20 and Hollywood Showgirls (here on the coast) do a Mega Strip... not like the one you guys did... it is actually a strip. At Bar20 (when I was there last year and I've been assured things havn't changed) everyone found a spot and over one song took off their bikinis to go full nude - no patron involvement. Hollywood has everyone go on stage and over one song we all strip down to nude - no patron involvement. The one I witnessed (@ CH Adelaide) involved all the dancers lining up on the stage, flashing everyone their breasts then flashing everyone their pussies followed by everyone finding a patron and giving that lucky patron a free one song dance. Personally, I'd rather how Hollywood and Bar20 do it - no patron involvement. Just that I don't like to give away too much for free even tho' I can see the flip-side (the free dance helping a dancer close a sale and/or convince the guy to pay more).

I may bring one of my shows with me the next time I visit Adelaide just in case Crazy Horse allows me to be a showgirl not just a house dancer. ;) As I said, I'm pretty set for this year however 2006 hasn't been planned yet.

I admit that while 108's has had the repuation of being a 'run-down old strip club' the rumors are true. Managment has been improved with great new owners now and yes the outside of the club being renvated is only the start. Podiums and poles will be in place in the next few weeks and is bound to blow the other clubs out of the water. Lapdancing rooms will also be improved and for all you adeladians out there I say watch out cuase 108's is bound to be the word on the street in the next few weeks.

While it is true that the look of 108's has been left untouche for a number of years, as a girl who has worked there for three years I cannot fault the place in the sense that if you want to make serious money and not have to talkto guys for ages only to get one dance out of them then 108's is the place for you.

There is all this talk about 'glitzy' and 'glamourous' strip clubs and while 108's des not fit into that category, it does cater for the blue-collar workers of Adelaide. They are the ones who are more willing to part with their cash. The holden guys, the factory worker, the big bucks shows and birthday parties. On a saturday ight, you can barely walk through the place because it is so packed out. I have been to the Palace and the firm and while they do cater for the upperclass market, there just seems to be lots of girls walking around aimlesly looking for someone to talk to. At 108's there is always something going on and selling dances is easy as.

I am sorry but I hate reading bad things about the cub that I love on here...while it might not be suitable for everyone, if you are half-attractive and are posistive there is no reason why you cant make phenominal moey like I do.

Please, if you wish to find out more, feel free to PM me as I am only too happy to be a sproker for this club. Like I said I have worked there for three years and so would have to disagree with the comment that it's only for people starting out. I have worked at other clubs and do private shows and by far 108's has; the best customers, the most money is made there, the girls are the friendliest, the managment are fantastic so supportive and helpful and understanding and security is tops.

But that's just my opinion . Like I said guys, watch out cause 108's is up and coming and is bound to cause a splash in the upcoming months!

It looks like I have two clubs to check out in Adelaide. :P I am still v.interested in 108s due to the changes however I've always had a curiosity about Crazy Horse in Adelaide as well.

In the end, I want to see which club: The Palace, Crazy Horse or 108s is suitable to me. In order to do so, I need to try out each club. :) I'm already ready to go to Melbourne just prior to Indy, home for 2 weeks then off to Biloela (agency booking) for a week and Skimpy work for 3 weeks (do shows on the side). December is one of the months that I will stick to just agency bookings (as I will have a car by that time).

Therefore I may come by Adelaide in January. I'll do one week at 108s (5-6 nights) and one week (5-6 shifts) at Crazy Horse.... then decide after those two weeks which one I personally liked better (and hence will possibly return to work within throughout the year).

Basically, I need a club where I will have the possibility of making $200 min. if the shifts are 5 hours or $350 min. if the shifts are 6+ hours esp. if I pay my own way. :)

G'day AussieMirandaYour input is very valuable here as you work in the club and we would love to hear more about the changes going on. Only one criticism, please be careful of your choice of words

["Podiums and poles will be in place in the next few weeks and is bound to blow the other clubs out of the water."]

Unless the new owners have millions of dollars to spend 108 wont blow the other clubs out of the water. But by the time they have finished there will be more competition with the clubs, which is a healthy thing.

Ha ha...I think you may have misunderstood what I meant by this. I just meant that the renovations is bound to surprise the other clubs as 108's has been left untouched for so many years. I mean you yourself notice that the front had been done up and thats wasn't even that major I thought. So yea, that's what I meant by 'blowing the other clubs out of the water', I meant it will shock them that something has finially been done to the place. :)

CHANGES AT RHINO (Melbourne)

Just thought I would give everyone a heads up on changes at Rhino in Melbourne.

It is now full nude on stage at least within the last half of the last song of your stage set - whether you are tipped or not. It is also up to you, the dancer, when nude to cover or not (to show pink or not). The dancer has the option to pay $100 to opt out of stage or else $25 at the door (on top of your 'house fee/tip out') to opt to do topless only stage sets. Yes, you must pay or you go nude.

The first 8 girls only paid/thru the door during Friday noon/lunch get the free house fee. It used to be if you arrived to work lunch before 1pm you could get the free house fee (which you can use another night or the same night).

There is now a set stage rotation and you will not be skipped over if you are in a private/lap dance. You now have to do stage when you are called or else pay the opt out fee of $100.

The good news is that the set stage rotation is not timed stage rotation however it still penalises the top earners ..... as you have to get management's permission to skip that stage set or pay the opt out fee. *sigh*

I'll do Melbourne Cup week at Rhino to see how these new rules "feel" before I make a decision whether to continue working at Rhino when in Melbourne or not.

GoldCoastGirl
11-05-2005, 05:01 AM
 Boy ! Did I get my information wrong!

The week after I left they instigated the change of having a set stage roster where you cannot miss your stage set. The week I arrived there (and the first night I danced - Thursday) was when they were going to implement the full nude on stage (dancers had the option of paying $25 extra 'at the door' on top of their fee to avoid going nude).

It isn't the full nude that I have a problem with personally as they changed the initial rule to full nude on stage only if you are tipped (from the first $ dollar). This works out to the dancer's advantage in that she receives money for going nude now instead of (what was originally planned) having to go full nude on the last half of the last song of a dancer's stage set. The thing I have a qualm with is the set stage roster and not being able to be automatically 'skipped' if I'm in a private lap dance.

On the busier nights and once the other girls arrive around 9pm it is okay as I do not go on stage as much (maybe once every 2 hours) however when you are there early... you may find that you are up on stage more frequently (like once an hour).

I can see the full nude on stage thing being a postive for the club and hopefully bring more people into the club now. The other thing is they have (what I affectionately call) a "banker". He hovers near the stage and looks after the people seated in the seats near the stage. They cannot sit in those seats without buying some club dollars (at the very least) and he 'enforces' this so that the dancers do not have to do so.

The great thing about having a guy who's primary job is to look after the stage is that it really does encourage more stage tipping (even if it is in club dollars)... and thus improves the atmosphere of the club.

Also, they have a promotion and I'm giving them kudos for being v.business savvy (as I do NOT know why more clubs do not do this !!!).... if they purchase club dollars from "the banker" he then gives them a card (or three) which entitles them to $10 of tipping dollars after they pay entrance fee into the club. Hence.. the club can charge patrons $15 at the door however if they use that card.. they really only paid $5 as they are receving $10 in tipping dollars. What this means for the dancers is more and more patrons will be walking into the club with money on them... even if it is only tipping dollars. It is still money which they have to spend in the club on the dancers! ;D Kudos to Rhino for being smart ;D

I'm looking forward to when I next go back in the new year due to these changes.

At the same time, I am never working a Fri/Sat at Rhino ever again. You just have to read my diary to find out why.

Well... on Monday I'm off to Biloela in re: Skimpy work. Whilst I was hoping it was waitressing work and NOT Skimpy work (I like being on the other side of the bar not behind it)... I will give it a go. It might be a nice little booking that I return to every so often for a change (or some guaranteed money).

I just gave the Clubs and Reviews section a read... there were a few new reviews posted since I last looked. I'm now intrigued about Rawhide Strip Club in Melbourne and Country Girls in Toowoomba.

This isn't just my thread everyone - please feel free to contribute your own experiences and information as it all counts.

Just an update on my Adelaide trip. I'm going this Wednesday and plan to dance within Club 108. The way it is set up now is not going to be the way it will be set up 'down the track'. The lady I spoke with assured me that she wants to initiate some changes in how things work however she's gradually initiating these changes so... oh yeh... not to mention some aethetic changes (new poles and what-not) within the club itself.

Unfortunately, the new poles will arrive after I leave :( oh well.. I'll still post a trip report so people can get some sort of idea about this club however be very aware that how things worked whilst I am there may not be how things work there in 3 months time.

Regardless, it sounds like a fun club to work within and one with v.good money potential (I'm looking at making $300 a night min.) plus with decent working hours so I do not burn out (like I did in Melbourne).

Refer to the Adelaide thread (http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43895&page=2#post630710) for further information ;D

Hey all,

I hope this isnt too off topic....but was wondering if anyone in melb went to sexpo over the weekend??

I went on sunday and it was pretty good, its getting bigger each year with heaps of stalls. There were stalls for Crystal's showgirls, mens gallery and kittens, actually there was a huge kittens bus there with lap dances going for $20!

I saw one feature stage show which was REALLY good, not sure who she was or where she was from but she was great!

Also Sylvia Saint (famous porn star) was there signing photos etc

There were heaps of stalls selling and promoting lingerie for dancers, there were some really cool outfits and lots of businesses who are happy to make special request outfits for people. i got some business cards with details so if anyone's interested im happy to post them up :)

Did a bit of shopping, but not as much as last year (which is probably for the best, as last time I spent almost as much as I made ::) ), and caught up with lots of other dancers I haven't seen in ages.

Any one else go?

I'm in Adelaide!!! I missed it :(

I've done my first 'week' at Club 108 here. Worked Thur-Sun. I was burnt out from the busy Sat night (and they reckon it wasn't as busy as it usually is! dear me!) so I just sat around looking pretty on Sunday night.

Whilst this club doesn't work like most clubs hence may take anyone, similiar to myself, a little while to get used to how it works and what-not.... private/lap dances aren't the big seller really. The table dances are the most popular seller followed by the raffle dances.

Regardless, if you're in Adelaide. Please do not cross this one off your list as whilst it isn't the most glamourous of the clubs ... and yes has free entry (no door fees for the public).... it is a hidden gem. I can see why Natalia and AussieMiranda have worked at this particular club for so long.

The girls are very welcoming. The owners (Nat and Kylie) are also very welcoming and always looking out for more dancers so please give this club a go if you are in Adelaide.

Unfortunately, when my 'stint' is up here in Adelaide I won't know when I will next be back as I will be working around my two touring revue shows that I am part of next year.

You can easily fly in - fly out... fly in Wednesday... work Thur-Sat... fly out Sun. Friday and Saturday are usually their busiest nights where you can (somewhat) easily walk away with $400+ ;D Wednesday and Thursday aren't so busy ....and you may only make $250-ish those nights. Sunday is the least lucrative tho'. After working Saturday, I was personally too burnt out to really work Sunday... I won't be doing it this week.

Adelaide... Club 108... is on my 'must re-visit' list! ;D

QUESTION !!!!

Can anyone find out if Sinsations in Darwin and Country Girls in Toowoomba are in fact closed ? Are they closed temporarily or permanently ? I ask as I was given such information from a patron here in Adelaide who visited these two venues in the last few months.... and they both were on my "to check out in 2006" list.

I'll be in Melbourne for much of next week and would be delighted to meet any of the fine ladies of the SW-Aussie contingent if I am lucky enough for our paths to cross.

Oops! My bad! I forgot as I was typing that at an internet cafe in the city so I was 'rushed' in my typing.

She's correct. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday the club is open only a short time... therefore making $250 in that short amount of time is damn decent. I must admit that I personally did well both Thursday nights (over $300) so it is possible to make decent dollars over three nights (Thur, Fri and Sat). Just remember that it is free entry for the public to this club (atm - this will change in the future) so you will encounter some really horrible/stingy patrons who won't even fork up $3 for a raffle ticket.

That's the only real down-side to this club.

Granted, if the patron(s) do give you attitude and do not purchase, at the very least, one raffle ticket off one of the dancers working that night... the owners are behind you. That's the best thing about this club ;D

Oh yeh... it's open 8.30pm until 5pm (or later if needed) on Friday and Saturday. :) Feel free to contact Natalia if you want to work there. She's a great girl and will be of invaluable help ;D

Update about Darwin for all you interested Aussie's out there. Sinsations Gallery HAS CLOSED DOWN. A new club called 'The Honey Pot' has opened up and is trying to source girls from other capital cities to go and work there for 2 weeks at a time. Accomadation is free and is part of the same complex as the club (thus reducing travel costs) You get a free flight up there and then you must get your return flight home. You are paid a retainer of $300 a week to be there and get one free meal a day. I will be heading up there next week and so wil post more info on the club once the week is out. My boyrfiends parents live there and they say that they know the complex and it is extremely classy. Will keep you posted guys!

I'll be at Crystal's Showgirls on Saturday, from 5:00pm - 12:00am. If you happen drop by keep a look out for a leggy brunette in a red dress and be sure to say Hi! ;D

Hey everyone, long time no post! ;D I've posted a lengthy review of Just Hooters in the Brisbane clubs section... I actually posted it in the right section this time, unlike my showgirls review :-[

 Thank you BrisbaneEve as every review helps. Of course, if you have a review of a club that is NOT listed within the Clubs and Reviews section (or even if you do)... this thread is open to it as I know how long it can take for a new club to be added to the list (and other clubs to be deleted).

:thanx:

In other news, I am going to be travelling for work early in Jan. Fly out of Brisbane or Gold Coast Wed 4th and fly back Brisbane or Gold Coast Mon 9th. Working Thu-Sat. I'm trying to 'cap' my costs around $900 (my airfare cap is $500 return) so that all I would be required to make is $300 each night min. where-ever I end up going. Adelaide is a strong possibility (airfare cost $430*). Darwin might be as well (airfare cost $440*). Melbourne isn't in the picture as I don't like working the club I work @ in Melbourne during Friday and Saturday - I tend to do better Sun-Thu usually.

*The airfare costs included $20 processing fee due to using credit card plus any other misc. charges and is based upon certain flights being open (not sold out) at the time I posted this message.

Then again... Canberra (http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51804) is a real possibility due to Summernats (http://www.summernats.com.au)... January 5-6-7-8th 2006

Sinsations (strip club) will be open wed-sat (as per usual)... open from 7.30pm wed and thur.. open from 5pm fri and sat. $40 house fee on Fri and Sat. $30 private dances (one song no touching customer to dancer) and the dancer keeps $20. Dancer keeps all stage and dance tips. That's the basic gist.

:'( No accommodation at any of the hostels. Damn. I'm not staying at a hotel as that's way out of budget (cheapest is $475 for 5 nights and I budget for $30 per night) and will only make me blow out my food/meal allowance ($20 per day). The airfare is $405 return from Brisbane which means it'll cost me $60 (approx) to get to the airport. Too many expenses and even with Summernats ($200 wed, $300 thu, $400 fri, $400 sat = $1300) it isn't a great "profit margin" as the profit (money earnt after all expenses are deducted) is my income. I would need to be guaranteed to make $2000+ over those four nights in order for the trip to be truely viable for me and due to the limited opening (only 4 nights) is no good.

Therein lies my dilema. I am coming close to having to take out a personal loan due to the lack of work I suffered in December (if I had been a XXX girl I would've had work *sigh* whether not being blonde with fake :boobies: also has anything to do with my lack of work is anyone's guess!) and January is not known as a lucrative month (agency or club).

I would :heartbeat to nick off to WA for Skimpy work (doing shows on the side) however that would require 2 weeks of my time (min.) and I doubt I can truely afford that time off (due to Aust. Playgirls rehersals) in January... I should've gone in December.. oh well.. I was under the impression that I would be touring come January. *sigh*

I went to Melbourne to work instead of going to Canberra to work (Summernats). Remind me to do everything in my power to go to Summernats ! I made under $500 profit for the whole trip. I am not a bad hustler yet I think I chose the wrong club.... and time of year to work in Melbourne. It took me two nights to make back the cost of the trip (under $600) with Friday night being my only profitable night (as I was exhausted come Saturday night).

Not to mention that Saturday night seemed to be full of groups. When you work by yourself and all there are in the club are groups... it's not the best way to make money. I ended up making SOMETHING at the very least however no way near what I was intending to make.

I have learnt that I can really only work 3 nights in a row before I need (at the very least) one night off so that I do not burn out. I also probably would've done better if I chose to work at my usual Melbourne club instead of the one I did end up working within (mainly due to my usual Melbourne club having less door fees).

Depending on how much work I receive this weekend will help me determine whether I go back down to Melbourne (again) except to work for 3 nights instead of 4 nights in total. Check in really early Friday, work Fri - Sat - Sun nights and then fly out Monday around lunch. (Based on this bad trip, I can at least guarantee myself one night of profit ...hopefully that won't be the case and I'll have two nights of profit).

I think GCG went to Goldfingers this time.
Sorry to hear it wasn't so good CGC. I'm off tomorrow - I hope it's ok in Sydney, I think it's going to be hard to keep up the 4 - 5 days away thing, but well see...
