I use a normal name as my stage name (Jackie) and guys seem to respond to it well. I've gotten lots of comment about not having some silly name. And if they ask i tell them its my real name. Last night was my first problem when a guy told me Jackie is his wifes name LOL i was like ummm did i say jackie i meant stacy hi i'm stacy lol. He laughed and bought a dance.

[QUOTE=pheno;815252]These are REAL names: Yellow Jello and Orange Jello (twins) It's pronounced "Yuh-lahn-juh-lo" and "Or-ahn-juh-lo"

are you sure it wasn't Le' mon jelo and Orahn jelo,
there can't be two sets of those.

Someone i know checked them in at her job in a medical office. The mother was indignant when she looked at the file and said "Lemon jello?"

great thread, timeless <not a name

My family calls me Leash, short for my real name.

If i were a stripper, I'd call my self Legend, 'cause I am old!

Cheddar. I read ten pages before I just said screw it, I'll post. So if somebody has mentioned cheddar I apologize. Also dolla' bill, pure ecstasy, and a girl named herself Freaky Deeky (sp?). She only worked for about a week before she disappeared. WTF?

i like real women's names not ones that sound really fake.
i also think it's pretty silly dancing in australia and naming yourself after american states like LA etc i mean if they are gonna name themselves after a state they could be patriotic and call themselves sydney or melbourne lol kidding.

i just prefer the more real sounding ones.

do any clubs have rules in regards to stage names? my club doesnt seem to have any really crazy ones like i have read through this thread like "secretion" hahaha.

Too much to look at...
I am glad this topic is up cause we just got a new girl, young, cute adorable, that decided to call herself 'Cash'.
She sounds like a freaking super hero. Or a horse.
My biggest beef with her name is that it totally doesnt fit her. At all. She's cute, perky...a few lightbulbs short of a christmas tree...Has a really slow dance style. (not sexy slow, more like...new girl slow)
So I guess my issue is with names that do not fit a personality type.

That and names that try to hard to envoke sexual feelings: Desire, Destiny, Sensation, Sexy, Erotica. If you have to try that hard to get the SEXY message across...

I have used Satine (everyone ended up calling me Satin) and Raven in the past and since I'm thinking of going back to dancing I was thinking of
1.Absinthe
2.Ember
3.Echo
4.Fairy
5.Mystic
How do any of those sound?

Umm, I think the "Ember" sounds good.... (IT's MY NAmE) except obviously spelled with a "y." I like Satine and Raven (do you have dark hair? it helps to have a name that can be matched with physical appearance- I'm a redhead, so people remember) I like absinthe, mysic and fairy not too crazy about.

And yes, you will be called "Amber." Correcting people nicely is a good intro to conversation. the dog in my avatar is also "Embyr." Yes, yes I took the dog's name.

Another thing is when girls use the names of cities. You know like Paris, London, Vegas, L.A., Houston, Phoenix, Dallas, etc..... I have all of these and some more at my club. Maybe we could put them together and make a map.

aw sad
i always thought cities work well if you pick the right city
Manchester, England
:-*

names ive been like totally oh-em-gee at;

Sweetness
Exotic
Chesh (what the hell is that?!)
Barbie *rolls eyes*
Strawberry
Peaches

ok kids anything related to food is lame

i hate shit like diamond and jade and all that crap that's trying way too hard to be sexy.

My club doesn't allow "crazy" names, they have to be real-type names. The oddest one that I know of is a girl who goes by Chance. Whenever they call her name I think of the movie Homeward Bound.

I just use a variation of my real name (it's easy to remember, too!). A girl that started the same night I did was going by Jazz at her old club and they made her change her name. She was pissed.

I mean, is Jazz really worth fighting over?

Chesh (what the hell is that?!)

Hey! Hey! That's my nickname! ;D
It's short for "Cheshire Cat" and refers to my constant goofy grin.

But seriously, terrible name for a club. I'd never be able to explain it and the custies would mangle it every single time.

I meet this stripper a couple months ago in a club in Tampa, named "Africa" I asked her about her name and why she choose it. She told me because she was black and proud of her African heritage and she wanted a "black" name.

I told her that was good that she was proud of Africa and her heritage but Africa was named for a man named
Scipio Africanus

A roman emperor who conquered North Africa. The continent was named for him and that he was white, so that the word "Africa" is not really black , but rather a name that came from a white conqueror of the continent of Africa.

The she got all pissy. But the next time she was called to the stage she had changed her name to Sheneequaw.

I went to check out a club I was thinking of dancing at in CA and there was a dancer who was at least 7 months pregnent using the stage name "Baby" :O. It just struck me as funny. She looked miserable her poor feet were sooooo swollen yet she still got them to fit into her 6 inch platforms....god bless her heart haha!

I want to know where the name Fallon came from. It seems like every other club has a Fallon and it's such a weird random name, I wonder where it originated and what it means. I don't like it though.

Not long ago I was dancing with a chick named Saleen, and she did not have implants (or nice tits either, for that matter; they were little and had that squashed, deflated look). Apparently it was a song reference but everyone was wondering why she was calling herself Saline when she had no boobs to speak of.

I danced with a Felony for awhile. She did ok, but she did seem kinda bitter. I don't think her name had anything to do with it though ;D

Several months before that, I had just started at a new club and the manager really wanted me to name myself that. He said that I should becuase I was a minor and "the guys would go to jail for fucking me." Okayyyyy. Cause that made perfect sense even though I was over 18 and um... wouldn't be fucking the guys anyway. That manager guy got fired within weeks after I started there, needless to say.

1) I believe people are including Chocolate and Mocha because there are 3128946219378419486137846187of them and people are tired of it. Its SO unoriginal.

2) wasnt Fallon a charater on a soap? LIke one of those nighttime Dallas type soaps?

My stage name has always been Bambi...I think its cute and it fits me well. Also its a Prince song....names of foods are the worst. Strawberry is the weirdest one I've heard. I've also met a Classy, thats a strange name for a naked woman. There was also a girl named viagra. Can't decide if this is clever or not?

^^ Bentley for a girl who didn't have a car. I lawled every time the DJ said, "Bentley, your cab is here."

I worked with a Sex Kitten, but she changed her name quickly because she was too embarrassed to say it.

That is FUNNY!!!

I think I should change my name from Kitana, to Boo Boo Kitty Fuck, lol.

We have a Cream at my club... lol... She started as a complete newbie a few months ago, and I think she named herself after that Prince song she ALWAYS dances to. But she turned out to be a pretty nice girl, anyway. Am I just a weirdo, or is the name Cream supposed to make you think of ejaculate? :P

I knew a girl who went by Chemistry. Everyone called her Chemi for short. I'm still not really sure what she was referencing. She wasn't in college, and never gave a lick about science....Que sera....
