Is she Hispanic? There was a woman I knew a while back who got called Tee Tee. It was a pet name for Tia, which wasnt her real name, but she was an aunt to everone... thus, Tia.

Damn! Nice catch-up there Paige.. hahaha!

Tee Tee was actually Cambodian. She was wonderful. ::sigh:: When we finally moved from VA, I vowed to stay in touch with her.. But, life got in the way.

Boy this is an old post.. I dont get the "Monet" reference tho?

Impressionist paintings. Monet's work looks good from afar, but up close it's not pretty at all. Just splotches of color that look quite abstract.

Looking better from afar is not a good quality for a stripper. ;)

I've worked with a Heaven, she was a psychotic bitch. Lexi makes me think of learning disabilities. There was a Wednesday where I work. I think "ANGEL" is pretty retarded.

Well seeing as this thread is about weird names, I gotta mention that one of the weird things that really sticks out in Hong Kong are the names that the locals use for themselves. It is almost a mandatory part of the local HK culture to use an English name, although I am noticing more and more these days that this is becoming less so.

The trouble is, the sourcing of these names. For a while, it appaeared that most were selecting names from "Ye Olde English Dictionarie". So we have lots of Elsie, Queenie, Mable, Eunice - names that were big in granny's time. Some of the more exotic ones I see are: Giggles, Apple, Mango, Dolphin, Puppy, Zero, and the butch tomboy girls calling themselves man names like Axel, Jinmy (what the?), Mussolina . . . . none of these names are made up. Some of them WOULD work well if they were stage names.

We had a girl around here we called Wednesday, because she looked like the little bitch from the Adam's Family. She didn't like it at all. She was about the most homely looking, broke stripper I've ever met.

The best one I ever heard was Lexus Benz. I asked her about why she chose a name like an auto dealership and her answer was, I kid you not, "I used to go by Mercedes but once I started doing LSD, I liked the name Lexus more, so I figured I'd just combine the two and make the best of both worlds." Sigh.

The only thing worse than a dumb stripper name is a dumb baby name. At least the stripper gets to choose her stage name and change it as she sees fit. Those poor kids with stupid names like Veranda or Corolla are stuck with them until adulthood.

I think it's Pandora. I know of a Pandora too, but I actually quite like the name. Reminds me of candy for some absurd reason...:-\

I really like corny names like desire and secret... but strawberry milk is kind of weird. I just cannot figure it out...

I have changed my name like...several times. It was Lillith, then Kali, It is now Eclipse, and I want to change it to Chartreuse...

lol...

theres a girl that started out as 'lady"--then changed it to "bunny", another i met at my old club, "toyota"--she ended up comin to the club I work at now--her name is "simple" ohhh god. I never liked the ghetto SC names: alize, strawberry, hennessy, chocolate, mocha, caramel-ect.
We also got a chick named "Kiwi", although she's not round and furry, the name is actually fitting to her. She's a bit of a jokester--and likes to play pranks on everyone.

Personally, I would like to hear some good old fashioned names coming out on the stage...

"AAAAND NOOOOOOW....OOOOON THE CENTERRRRRR STAAAAAAAAGE.... COME ON GUYS...GIVE IT UP FOR ... MARGAREEEEET"

We actually have a dancer at our club that calls herself believe it or not Mongoose.

Another thing is when girls use the names of cities. You know like Paris, London, Vegas, L.A., Houston, Phoenix, Dallas, etc..... I have all of these and some more at my club. Maybe we could put them together and make a map.

Another good one is Thumper. Ugh. I worked with one of those too. She was about 45 years old.. and she looked it. I guess no one ever gave her the advice not to put a tattoo any place that gravity will get ya. She had one on her arse (and her arse was heading South, fast!) LOL.

These are all GOLD. :rotfl:

There's a girl at my new club named "Nadus." It's pronounced "Nod-us," but I always think "Nautilus." Pretty girl though. And the manager told me he once had a dancer who wanted to go by "The Yellow Rose of Texas." He talked her down to "Rose."

Like "Topanga Canyon Boulevard" in L.A. I could be a dancer too. I'll call myself Major Deegan, like the highway in NYC. :P

Topanga? Like Danielle Fishel's character in Boy Meets World?

Interesting.

A Native American name that meens Where Mountain Meets Sea. Not too popular, however.

worst stage names for girls i've worked with would be:
Gizmo, Delicous (yes, spelled that way), Little, and Bondage.

I could understand Bondage if her style was fetish, but that wasn't her at all.

Passion and Princess were the names of two dancers i've encountered at other clubs.

I want to use Wet Kat as a strippers name to write a couple of stories. Do you think it's any good? and will I be offending anyone if I do it?

I chose the name because I've got the domain - no other reason. :)

Granted, guys are hip to stage names. But why be silly? Girls like Sparkle, Diamond, Bubbles (yes bubbles), and Blaze are just begging to be asked, " So, what's your real name?" Are you going to say, " Well, Bubbles, of course!"

Mercedes and other car names are painful to me, I must say.
Jenna is to adult entertainment as Elvis is to music and should be left alone, in my humble opinion, but hey it's better than Okra!!

I worked with a girl named Strawberry... she was a total newbie so I just thought it was stupid at first, but it wasn't until like 6 months later when I found out the second meaning {that on the streets it's a term used for girls who give head for crack} that I realized just how stupid of a name it was.

I worked with a girl named ENTERPRISE-
I kept thinking a ship was gonna land on stage!!

Later on while listening to the DOORS I realized why she chose the name...
Can't remember which song it is but Jim Morrison says
"two girls, one named Freedom and the other Enterprise"

lol
It was like solving a great Enigma

Old lady names can be bad...I kid you not ...we had a "Nesby, Esther, Inez and Hilda" All in one club back where used to live.

I must add here that all the girls except "Hilda" were foreign...maybe they didn't know those old names were funky?

Maybe or maybe not a dancer name, but I remember a Bond, James Bond, character named Pussy Galore. I couldnt believe it in my naive years. So, then what? Is this name copyrighted?

Liquid names after wines seem to be just a bit popular, maybe like Chablis. Also I don't think Coco or Java are too bad.

I quite like the name Esther in general, but as a stage name, it sounds too biblical.

by the way... what's the fascination with the names tiffany and brittany????? every second girl has this name. ( i know of four girls at my club whose names were tiffany but only one could keep it so the others had to change there names. and three brittanys!
it's stupid, get some originality
