I dunno if I've put this one up so if I have forgive me.. but this one chick where I work goes by the name of .. Revolver. WTF is that, Smith and Wesson? Shotgun?

Geezus, every time I hear that chicks name I just cringe.

Since a lot of people have meantioned Precious, I have to share my pain with you all..

I actually knew a man named Precious. I think he really pissed off his mother during childbirth!

02-03-2006, 10:34 PM
the most interesting one i ever heard of was "earth child"! the worst was "bubbles"...

02-04-2006, 09:15 AM
My stage name was always Lola. And I like it, ok!! My porn name, (first pet's name and mother's maiden name) would be.... SMOKEY MAY! Now that's one hell of a name. x

A few girls at my club jokingly use silly names sometimes to lighten our mood:
Swallow- like the bird she says ;D
Juicy Lucy
There are also some names used seriously that I find silly:
LaLa :O

Here's my list:

Skittles (I shit you not, that was her name)

There is a Skittles who dances in my area ( Palm Beach County, Fl) ...I hope it's the same one rather than having *2* of them on the loose.

07-27-2006, 02:19 PM
There is a girl calling herself "Piracy" which I think is absurd.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Does she know what it means??

07-27-2006, 02:56 PM
I knew a dancer who went by "Rage." lol.

07-27-2006, 06:56 PM
I might have already mentioned this, but I'm not going back to check;

the weirdest stage name I've ever heard is "Your Little Sister". For real, she introduced herself as that, and got announced as that.

07-27-2006, 07:19 PM
Scandal, Misery, Trajedy, Mercy
Chasity (sic), Cream, Alexa (now the name of feminine hygiene product line)

07-28-2006, 12:33 AM
I heard a girl announced in a club in Columbus as "Eminem".

07-28-2006, 02:01 AM
'Flavour'... wtf? :O

Roxi Dlite
07-28-2006, 02:37 AM
I agree with the liquid name statements- yuck.. not sure what people are thinking.
Personally names like Desire, Fantasy,Secret, Delight,...........
(No offense to any member of SW who might happen to have the names I have mentioned... just my personal opinion)

:( Roxi DLITE! :'( dont worry, as they say, to each her own. whats funny is that i used to feature by the name GINGER DLITE, lol. ginger didnt suit me at all. I used to dance by just the name Dlite for a long time, people still call me it but i put roxi infront of it cause im a such a chicago freak. and like ROXY HEART, i want nothing more than to be a star on stage... lol lame i know! Oh i and because people kept on thinking my name was DELAYED! like im slow.... WTF? ha ha ha

Roxi Dlite
07-28-2006, 02:40 AM
oh i want to play too! PANTERA, DIAMOND, HOLLY WOOD (sorry girl i love ya but hate the name!) and um... hmm... crystal, it sounds kinda trailer trashy to me.
ANY car name is also very tacky...
normally i dont like names that are things.....
so here's an idea, why dont we just name ourselves after current events? that way youll always be popular! hahaha imagine if a girl called herself BUSH! LOL sorry im being silly now, im tired im going to bed..... :O

07-28-2006, 02:55 AM
Alexa (now the name of feminine hygiene product line)

Hey, that's me (minus one X)! I think the condoms are spelled "Elexa". I go by Lexi in my main club though (I work at two currently).

I used to work at a club with a girl whose stage name was "Satan" not exactly a name that I thought would put people in a good mood.........haha
Maybe I should change my name to "God".

she might as well have called her self Almond Joy for that matter. (she didn't make it past three weeks and then quit).
I worked with a girl named Almond Joy. There was also her friend, Caramello.

One night it was really slow (ie: dead) and we were bored so we made up new names for each other. I was Bertha.
My mother almost named me Bertha, because that was the name of her first car. Thankfully, my father made her change her mind.

Once met a dancer whose name was Ophelia. She was cute, but I just kept picturing her drowning herself ... ughhhhhhh!
My best friend's dancer name is Ophelia. It fits her because she has red hair. I think it's pretty.

Other "interesting" names I've come across: All-Day (like, I can go 'all day'), Paradise, Boogie, Montana (although she is really pretty - makes me think of Arby's Big Montana sandwich), Deja (like deja vu), Maggie (my aunt had a bulldog named Maggie that snored while she was awake), Cupcake (who also went by Candy), Venise (why not just go by Venus?), and Brunette (thank you Ms. Obvious).

This wasn't a dancer's name, but my ex used to go to school with a girl named Aquanetta. Aquanetta Jones. :O

07-28-2006, 03:26 AM
Hey don't make fun of me........lol.........That was the first name I picked... :D.....and a year later, I'm still dancing under Mercedez.....it just sticks with you.......... :D

I know this is a late reply, but the car Mercedes was named after Daimler's niece (if I remember correctly, possibly daughter).

So, you're not really using a car name. ;)

A few that I remember from when I was a bartender at a local club:

Kandi Kayne
Good Girl
Brittania (with a Southern accent???)

07-28-2006, 04:28 AM
haha we have Desire... Ferrari...Mercedes...Precious...we had Miss Belle that was always funny to me

07-28-2006, 06:21 AM
Sorry Alexxa...

07-28-2006, 06:25 AM
For the record, I go by Ava, but I have also been Anna, and sometimes I am Sara :)

Ava after Ava Gardner- my all time favorite Hollywood beauty... Anna and Sara are subtle digs at family members. :)

07-28-2006, 06:32 AM
I danced with an Envy. Which I am sort of torn about... I like it, then hate it. I didn't really "envy" her.... I was more terrified. She was like 6' barefoot add 7 inches with shoes and she was a Pole Nut. She broke that bitch 5 times in less then three months. (She was also a bit of a meany too) ***eyes dart around nervously*** Kali would have suited her... She was a beautiful girl, but.... wowsers..... Scary in a BIG BAD ASS WAY.

I have danced with 3 Dreams (HATE IT) in 3 different clubs... The only one I have ever liked is the one I work with now at The Classic.... (but I don't know her very well yet) The others... would have been better off called Nightmare. Someone told me there was a girl at this club who called herself Camero.... She had it tattoo'd on her back..... Again..... I am not sure if I hate it...or love it.

Peaches.... Hated her name, hated her.

Envy....... if you are out there, and you see this, DON'T KILL ME.

 :faint:  :paperbag:

Honey Bee
Lil' Mama

07-28-2006, 08:54 AM

Dixie Passion
07-28-2006, 09:05 AM
I never liked the name "crystal"

My stage name "dixie passion" was given to me. Mostly I was called "dixie" I am from the south... used "dixie passion"when on the road...

07-28-2006, 12:11 PM
I danced with a girl named Hot Pocket. I think I blew my drink out of my nose every time I heard the DJ call her name. Never got used to it. Also danced with a Ruin and a Calypso (which might have been okay if she weren't bone white and unable to dance.)

07-28-2006, 02:26 PM
We now have a "Sailor Moon" at our club. Just plain "Sailor" by itself could be kind of cocky and cute, I think, but the surname ruins it for me.

07-28-2006, 08:55 PM
Sorry Alexxa...

Hehe it's okay.I'm not offended at all.

07-29-2006, 05:23 AM
i've danced with:

i also met an earth child
i was once miss kitty
minage tios (i bet i spelled that wrong)
dream weaver
brn sugar (thats how she spelled it)
bobby brown

what gets me the most is city/country/state names like:

of course any of the months. thats all i have right now. i think i've repeated a few but i think i've also added some new ones. nowadays i'm annika and its going pretty well. i know i'll remember a truely aweful one soon...

07-29-2006, 06:47 AM
This week the feature at my club is Britney Banks, and her roadie is a WWF girly named "Double D Donna." She also danced a bit, and got really drunk tonight...insisted she be on stage with me because she wanted to make out with me and I would only do it where everyone could see so I'd make money off it (I'm straight but willing to play if it gets me attention. lol)...then she tried to molest me on stage and kept tripping me! Aaaaah!

I know, kinda random story, but her name fit her body (massive wrestler body with massive fake boobies), and her personality, and I thought about this thread when I heard her name.

I went by the name Lorelei when I worked at Fantasyland. But people would mispronounce it a lot, so when I went back to Columbus Gold, I went back to Adelle. I give Lorelei as my fake "real" name, though. I also thought of going by Lilith. But I don't think it would match my girl-next-door look, even though I generally dress darker and dance to hard music.

Oh, and we have an Autumn at our club, named so because she has auburn hair and green eyes. She looks like a tree in the autumn...soooo pretty. I think if it fits the girl, it's ok.

07-29-2006, 11:12 AM
The ones like Angel, Barbie (no matter how they spell it) and Bambi are pretty much just lame and over played. My old home club, we had Cherokee, which worked for her because she was actually Indian. We had a Kitten, which I dont care for as a name either. There was this one dancer who went by Della, which for some reason made me think of Delta Dawn.... who knows...lol. The majority of us had "real" names and I liked that. Stacy, Lisa, Nicole, Jana, Michelle, Tina, Sammi (short for Samantha) etc. I think a name thats a real name is more believeable then an obvious stage name is. The name I think I liked least was this girl named Cookie. I mean Cookie?? You couldnt think of anything else??? LOL!!

07-29-2006, 12:18 PM
Is Candy really that bad of a name? It's my real name, but I was thinking of using it anyway, since I'm small and bubbley.

07-29-2006, 12:36 PM
I Hate Cream or creamy. Emoney......Mehoe.....Jamaica...... I get back to this I have alot more!!!:P

07-29-2006, 03:12 PM
Is Candy really that bad of a name? It's my real name, but I was thinking of using it anyway, since I'm small and bubbley.
no candy is a stripper standard. dont expect ANYONE to belive it's your real name tho!

07-29-2006, 03:44 PM
Hot pocket? hahaha that is so funny and kinda cute. But weird.

Swallow is by far the weirdest I have heard. It kinda creeped me out because she was missing the majority of her teeth.

07-29-2006, 04:57 PM
In the book 'Ivy Leage Stripper' there is a girl named Sparrow. I'm assuming the name was meant to refer to her large chest (like a sparrow puffing it's chest out). I think hat's weird.

07-29-2006, 05:14 PM
Someone told me there was a girl at this club who called herself Camero.... She had it tattoo'd on her back..... Again..... I am not sure if I hate it...or love it.

I work with her. She did say she was from Delaware!

07-30-2006, 10:37 PM
there were two girls that called themselves SALT and PEPPER they were wierd ones.....
the name i find really hard to swallow, is ANGEL, i have met sooo many along the way and every single one of them is trouble.......................

07-31-2006, 12:11 PM
I worked with two girls called Peaches and Cream, they always danced together - stuck at the hip untill their friendship broke up and they went back to their real names!

07-31-2006, 12:21 PM

07-31-2006, 12:22 PM
I worked with a girl named "Damien" awhile ago.... needless to say the customers reactions when she introduced herself were priceless!!!

07-31-2006, 04:07 PM
omg. I think I have heard the worst here goes the worst
-Henessey - saddest one to date -
-Lucky - sounds more like a 58 year drunk customer -
I could go on.....

07-31-2006, 04:11 PM
um... charmin??

07-31-2006, 04:18 PM
lol. She was kinda wobbly she said cause she so soft and when men see her they cry.

07-31-2006, 11:44 PM
I had a white kitten I named Charmin once...she was adorable!

08-01-2006, 01:33 PM
Heard this one Saturday night from a dancer. I haven't verified it acutaly exists, but preemptively for the win:

Three guesses at which club, but you should only need one.

Also, same club: Cashleigh.

08-03-2006, 02:53 AM
hahah my club also has a harley and a mercedes.... however- mercedes is a traditionally beautiful french name, and Porsche (well, Portia) is from SHAKespeare... so i don't think that's fair game to mock. Lexus- yes, bad. Harley is actually a real name. Come on, it's better than Kawasaki, right?? If I see a Toyota or a Bentley or a Ducati or something totally surreal, THAT will be worth talking about.
