Hey Hon...
The two way contact definition 'round these parts (OMGs.. I can't believe I just said that.. lol), is that the parts that are usually covered by a bikini can't be touched. Everything else is fair game. You're allowed to touch the customers as well, but their ahem.. lower part is pretty much off-limits, except for the grinding, naturally. Of course, the rules are sometimes broken, but this is just the definition of what to expect here.
As for any type of traveling in the city, I would definitely recommend renting a car. This way, you'll have the freedom to go wherever you choose without having to pay a fare, which can be very expensive if using cabs.
As for places to stay.. Here's a link.. They have a lot of good suggestions...
Hope this helps.. Good luck to you!

So basically no 'air dances' right.. Cool this is how my club is now.. There isn't extreme contact but you can get close to customers. Are these dances nude?

In some of the clubs, there is a separate room for topless and a separate one for nude. I'm not sure what the requirements are, if you have to work both, or if you can pick and choose. From what I hear though, Air Dances are very unpopular lol. I've talked to guys that have received them, and never got dances from those ones again.
Maybe Sandy or one of the other guys can let you know about the specific topless/nude thing, and if there's a requirement that you do both. I'm not sure about it. Melonie will probably also be an excellent source of information.

I booked my room got a good deal on orbitz.com. Ladies, for ANY travel arrangements I suggest you check there last. They consistently have the best rates by far for flights, hotels, cars...
Better than expedia or travelocity ALWAYS.
Yes Rhi, my flight is definitely June28-July13. got the confirmation email and the hotel already booked and confirmed.
Ladies I'd try to rent a car, from the looks of the area you'll want it. Looks kinda spread out. I'm renting a car, have a good membership with national rental car and I get alot of perks with them  PARTY!!!

Everyone should also take a bit of time to check out the scenery and various hot spots around here. We are simply lovely in the Light Half of the Year. The Dark Half sucks, but I live for the Spring & Summer.. lol

Girls traveling to providence, cadillac, foxy's, and fantasie's are all great clubs. What ever you do avoid Cheater's at all costs. Yes if you are hot you can make a lot of money because 90% of the dancers are overweight and drug addicts, but you will be risking your life by doing so. I worked exactly three days there when i first started dancing and didn't know any better. Yes i did make over 500 a shift each time, but i also got knocked down to the ground in the dressing room, and threatned in the bathroom. A girl beat the shit out of another girl at the bar area where all the customers were and the management didn't do a thing. Another dancer jumped a girl in the parking lot after work because she said she stole her customer. I know in the dancing world there will always be drugs, but at cheaters it was done out in the open. In the bathroom you will be waiting for 10 min to use the stall because girls are in groups snorting up. Just walk in the club for 5 mins. and you will see that i'm not over exagerating. I've danced in probably 30 clubs by now, and never have seen anything like cheaters before. The place is beyond ghetto. Are there any other dancers that have worked at cheaters and had an experience like mine? Well anyways just thought i would share my experience there, best of luck to all the girls traveling to Prov. for the summer!

thats an easy one; maple syrup.
for Caddillac Lounge(CL) and Club Fantasies(CF) you can work either the nude stage, the topless stage or both. you're not required to go nude on stage, or in LDs. at fantasies for the 15 minute champagne dances, the customer expects nude, so if youre not going to do it nude, tell him beforehand. im sure most wont mind, but if you dont they'll feel cheated and may bitch about it.
not sure about cheaters(CH), you may be required to dance in the lady godiva room(nude room). but you wouldn't be required to do nude LDs.
basic price breakdown is as follows. topless dance is $20 to the girl per song. some girls at cheaters will try to charge more. nude is very negotiable at all clubs. but usually from $30 to $60 per song to the girl.
you could get away with air dances at the foxy lady, but thats why virtually nobody goes there. if you're gonna go to providence, why go get air dances when you're a stones throw from two way "limitted" contact. customers aren't allowed to touch boobs, but its fairly common. as long as its not in plain site and for extended periods of time its pretty much allowed. although, a polite hand check and, "sorry its against the rules and i can't afford to get in trouble" certainly wouldn't raise eyebrows from a customer. itd probably get them to keep there hands more to the sides.
oh, i almost forgot. lol, CF has the "mandy rule." lol, girls aren't allowed to be on their knees at any point durring a LD. LOL. i think you're supposed to have one foot on the floor at all times too, but you wont get suspended, fined for these. if anything, youd just get barked at.

You guyz are getting me pumped about a Providence trip. I don't think that I can whangle a feature deal inside of your time frame, but I can probably just show up for the hell of it. Besides, I haven't talked to Caddilac's management yet since they don't normally bring in features - good excuse to write off another trip !
Yes, Providence has RIPTA bus transportation all over the place - they're actually pretty cute and look like old fashioned trolley cars and you can ride anywhere all day long for like 5 bucks.
Another must-do if you're going to be there on a Sunday and not working on Sunday night is to take the RIPTA ferry from Providence to Newport (which costs like 9 bucks round trip). Newport is THE place in the summertime.

I'm so glad you mentioned the trollies, Melonie! That is actually one of the best things in Providence. They're so awesome. My hubby's cousin used a few of them when he got married. There was a trolly for them, and a trolly for the parents. They had even decorated them in the whole wedding decor for them.
I second Newport as well.. Other great parts are Jamestown, and Galillee. I absolutely adore a place in Galillee called "The Lighthouse Inn". It's too awesome for words.

I hope it is before July 9, though, as I am going to Maine for my week at my timeshare.

As I said, if I manage to make it back to Providence clubs in the timeframe these girls are talking about, I won't be dancing (since there no way a feature booking is going to come together that quickly). I'll just write off the trip and make a 'lost weekend' out of it or maybe try to hook up with some private party action in Newport. However, if I get 'shitfaced' enough while clubhopping, anything can happen LOL so I'll pack a costume or two for the heck of it.
Actually, what we REALLY need is somebody from the Providence/Newport area to volunteer the services of their 40ft boat for a field trip to Block Island !!!

Block Island's alright, Sad.. I haven't been in years though..
I definitely say that Newport is a great place to be during these months. There is so much going on practically every day. I guess they're still deciding if they'll let the Tall Ships come this year, but even without them, it's a great place to be.
I'll have to think of some other things to do, but right now I'm drawing a blank.. lol.. Just put the little princess to bed, so I need to wind down a bit.. ahhhh..

RIPTA is "The rest in pieces transit authority". When everyone else was driving busses Providence drove hearses. Buddy thought it would be nice if the city employees could lie down. Get ready for the other highlights of Providence--A university named after a color (Brown), and an airport with an airport code that sounds like a cross between a yeast infection and a social disease (i.e. PVD). Actually a nice setup as long as you do not go right when you are supposed to go left. Why make life complicated? Islanders entertaine themselves asking "Who the hell was Toe Fungus Green?"
The food is not bad, however, because one of the major culinary schools in the country is there--Johnson and Wales. We can forgive them for Emeril.
MCWM just remember there are no moo cows in RI. They tried to bring one in and the only thing that would fit in the state was the heine.
A car is essential, you will need to have one to leave the state to change your mind. Just be careful because they love to make lanes disappear at exit ramps with no way back on to the highway.

Wait Wait.. I must beg to differ with this statement.. LOL.. Long story, but I'll make it short.. I was driving along the road one night when I lived in Exeter. Out of freaking nowhere, a COW was standing in the middle of the damn road. I slammed on the brakes. The thing looked at me, and casually walked away. Well, my heart wants to party in RI, but my tits have some previous commitments later this month that will have to be juggled (like a magazine shoot in FL). I'm already working on it. However, July 5-10th has been booked for months so I doubt I can manage that week.
Cadillac did a couple of features years ago on short notice i believe. Fantasies tends to do more features, how long does it take to get a booking?
Clubs that book features regularly are usually out there at least 6 to 8 weeks to give the club a chance to advertise the feature. Also, many clubs have a "palm greasing agreement" with a particular agency in exchange for giving that agent exclusive rights to book that club - which can complicate the chances greatly if a particular feature and a particular agent happen to have a "history". As I said earlier, I really don't need an actual booking - just a reason for writing off the cost of an RI trip as a business expense. Having discussions with Cadillac's management about a 'possible' feature booking would probably be sufficient.
Buddy thought it would be nice if the city employees could lie down.
I'm assuming this is a reference to the former mayor of Providence ? I couldn't believe the stories I heard about this guy - like winning a landslide re-election while he was in jail for a felony ! I heard that the RI Legislature had to pass a special law that a person convicted of 2 felonies was not allowed to run for public office to prevent this guy from being re-elected yet again even after he was caught with his hand in the public cookie jar a second time ! If Providence's city politics don't mind re-electing a mayor who is a "2 time loser", I can understand why the strip club business there is booming !
montythegeek
06-17-2004, 04:19 AM
Yes Mel, Buddy Cianci will go down in history as the Marion Berry of New England.
I am sure Rhia has tales that will curl your hair about BC, but I believe the first felony was shooting his ex-wife's boyfriend. That should not count as a "real felony" in RI.
He may run for office again with the slogan "I did not bring the DNC to Providence." Remember being a "2-time loser" puts him 3 notches above the mean in RI.
PS For the uninformed who think I was bashing RI, I was just teasing Rhia trying to get her to let loose with Mass-hole jokes.

Hey Now! I LOVE Buddy! LOL
But yes, there are TONS of stories about him. He wasn't all that bad.. LOL.. He did so much for Providence. The nice parts (what few there are) are all his doing. This was actually brought up in chat last night, and all I said was.. "Yeah, he was a criminal, but what politician isn't?" hahah..
My stepfather actually knew him well, years ago before he passed away. I'm sure that if he ran again, he'd be elected though, without a doubt.
Boston, it's not that everyone's down on the Foxy or anything, it's just that the place has dropped very drastically, in hiring standards and overall general practices around there.
RedlightGreenLight, there is only 1 18+ club that I know of here, and I don't think you would want to work there. It's called Balloons, and it's nude with no alcohol. Money is not made by dancing there. I definitely don't recommend it. All the other ones, I'm pretty sure, are 21+.

I also got a lesson in new RI driving techniques ... like driving down the shoulder of the Interstate at about 70mph, and then jamming back into traffic 50 feet ahead of an exit you don't want to take ...
OR accelerating from zero to 70 from a city street stoplight in about 200 feet of entrance ramp before having to merge into bumper to bumper Interstate traffic ...

Sandy it is part of the Mass inspection program to make sure the turn signals do not work and that the bird indicator does.
I broke my teeth on Estern drivers in NJ Mel. The first day there a car crossed 4 lanes to the exit in 100 feet at 70mph. Mass drivers are better. They can do it in 50 feet and flip you the bird at the same time. They think it is the state salute to Larry Bird. the key to driving in Mass is to always drive in the right lane. The Massholes all think it is a crime to drive in the right lane so it is always clear.
When I am in a playful mood I imagine Melonie causing a traffic tie up on 128 near I-93 about Washington Street. In Providence it is right near the turn off to the cape downtown.

If you're talking about the I95 junction with I195, that's a traffic snarl every single day without my help! I hear what you're saying about Rt. 128 though - it makes getting to Salem, NH a real ordeal !
Hahahaha Melonie! Kickass! Have you ever done the 70 mph on the Thurber's Ave S-Curve? LOL I swear, you haven't lived until you've done that..
Nope, but I bet my 70mph uphill blast around the 270 degree corkscrew where the Lincoln tunnel comes up on the NJ side is a close second !
Actually I WAS guilty of causing a traffic snarl in RI - but it was on Main St. in Newport. I really can't understand why though, since I was wearing a white button up shirt unbuttoned and tied in a knot underneath my boobs, which almost covered my bikini top (and only left about 8 inches worth of cleavage showing).
PS it's really a shame that the Newport city fathers are so dead set against letting a strip club open up there. You just can't believe how much money is floating around Newport (in more ways than one) ... to give people who are from other areas some idea, the average house in Newport sells for over 1/2 million dollars (and we're talking just a regular house - there are 5 million dollar mansions too) and the average boat in the marina sells for over $100 grand.

LMFAO Sad.. Yeah, I'm normally guilty of going about that all up and down 95. After all, here in RI, speed limits are also optional. Actually, I've always claimed that speed limits only apply to the out-of-staters.. LOL.. They're normally the ones you see pulled over anyway..
I blew passed a wonderful State cop about 2 years ago. I was coming home from my 3rd shift job at 6am. He stopped me and said "Didn't you see me while you were speeding by?" LOL.. I told him the whole story about me working 3rd shift and being oblivious on my way home. He clocked me at 87 mph.. heh.. He was cool though, let me go and just told me "Keep it slow (er)" hahaha
The S Curves are definitely deadly though, and should only be attempted by trained professionals.. LOL

dont think ive ever been on thurbers ave. i like the 1-95 curves through pawtucket.
monty, the no signals is RI, get it right. but cruising up the right lane is what i do. love passing on the right. douchebags, drive on the right, pass on the left. its irritating when i come up on someone driving properly(in the right lane) and i have to pass them, but shithead in the middle lane is matching his speed. i always make sure to cut off, stare down and bitch at the shitfucker in the middle lane.
i know about traffic at i-95/i-93 split. thats my useless town its in. sucks. no matter what time of day and what day it is, you know you're going slow through it.
i think this convention thing is just one big excuse to see me in leather. and i dont blame any of you.
