I do not think it is a problem if someone asks on this forum, after all, that is why we are here to talk about things. It is up to the person if they want to answer a certain post. So if anyone does not agree, then just don't respond, (period). We all post quite a few topics that are really none of anyone's concern. I will tell you that it is possible in my club to take home around $1,500 and it is also possible to take home $50. :-\ Some nights you get lucky, some nights you don't. ;)

Vaden, good point. I totally agree with you.

When people ask me this question I respond by saying more than I could make at any other job while I'm in college..... ;D

When I first FIRST started I was averaging 500 a night. take home. *sigh* I wish the new girl status could last forever. Now, I'm at a steady 250 (t.h) a night. Give or take. My worst night? three stinking dollars. Then again, we were all dancing for eachother. LOL

Started at a new club today and was talking to this girl. She VOLUNTEERED this information: "i've taken home nothing some nights and taken home $2500 others." I guess that's pretty much what you're going to come across.

Keep in mind that a lot of the ladies on these boards have MAD hustling experience. We can only aspire to be as great as them...

some day...

I'll volunteer this information on this board as I feel it helps people get a perspective of what it is like elsewhere and to see if they are near the average or over or under. Granted, at the same time, it is never really good to compare yourself to others.

Personally, I now aim for $200 per night except on a Saturday when I aim for $300 minimum. Saturday nights always tend to be a good night for me but not ALWAYS.. just the majority of the time.

My aim is dependant upon the club I'm working within and the city.

It isn't unheard of in Melbourne (Victoria) for instance that girls can have one night a week where they go home with near or over $1000...

All in all.. in my nearly 3 years.. I've had nights where I have been "in the hole".. earning nothing.. to earning $800. I have yet personally to make it over $850 in one shift no matter where I have worked.

My ultimate goal is to finally.. eventually.. go home one night with $1000 ("take home")... yet to reach that goal but I'm definately working on it ;D

This is what I tell customers when they ask,"The money that is earned fluctuates with the rest of the economy". The statement is really true. In the summer I have trouble making above 200. In the Fall I can make 300-400. But one must also consider that most clubs require working a dead day. So if I am in the negative that day I subtract that from the previous days earnings. Another thing to think about is that when I give those numbers I am not subtracting the taxes I will be paying.

I work in a small club in Lincoln, Nebraska. Day shift (3 to 8 pm) there are usually only 3 - 4 girls working, and late shift (8pm to 12:45 am) there are 4 - 5. I tip my dj 10% of what I make in a shift (and we only haev a dj during late shift). Otherwise, no house fees/etc. We get paid $9 an hour plus tips. I just started back last week after a leave of absence (to have my son) and now that I am back I have made a lot more money than I did when I worked there last time (finally learned to hustle). Tonight I brought home $221. The lowest I've brought home since I got back was $70 on a Tuesday day shift last week. Every day/night besides that has been between $170 - $250 take home per shift. I usually work 4 shifts per week. I know it doesn't sound like much money, but the cost of living in my city is very low (my rent right now is $350 a month). So to me, living here, yeah, it's pretty good money.

K, I'm, going to risk going against the grain here.

I never had a problem with someone asking, and I think it's good for this thread to exist because maybe it can help clear up some of the misconceptions about what dancers make. I am also frustrated with people thinking I'm rich because I dance. But it's good money and new girls could be encouraged by what they read in here.

I have made anywhere between 0-$650 in a night and I never work more than 6 hours, usually in the 3-5 hr range. I think it's good to make $50-100/hr, above that is fabulous. As long as it's more than $10/hr, I can at least feel happy I'm making more than most people. But that's just how I mentally get through the REALLY bad nights. I charge $10 for a regular dance, and $20 for a VIP dance. A dance lasts about 3.5 minutes. On average, I pay a total of $60 to work.

Also, a note on the etiquette of asking, I'll freuquently ask other girls at the end of the night, "How'd you do?", or "Did you do well?", and they'll answer specifically more than generally, more often than not, and no one's ever given me shit for asking, nor have I ever given anyone else shit for asking. If a girl says she did well, I say "Good for you! That is so awesome!", or if she didn't do well, sometimes it gives her a chance to vent and I can give her some encouragement for the next day.

Maybe it's just me, but I see us as all being in the same boat, and we can all give each other encouragement, help build each other up, or we can be out for ourselves. I'm just the type of person to want to be succesful and see others up there with me, or help them get to the top as well. Happiness is best when it can be shared, IMO.

we all usually ask these very lines at the end of the night in my club too. Not: "how much did you make?" straight up, but: "how'd ya do tonight sweets?" or the like... no one ever gets specific, but the answers vary from "ehhh." to "awesome, it was an excellent night!"

I dont see your questions as offensive; if others are offended, THEY DONT HAVE TO ANSWER.

Its not like you walked up to anyone personally and got all up in their garter. You just posted for anyone to answer, IF they wanted to, and the good thing about this website is, IF YOU DONT WANT TO ANSWER, YOU CAN KEEP ON BROWSING. This IS a public forum, not a one-on-one encounter.

Almost none of us work at the same club, so its not like we're having competition here. Fucking shit. Leave the diva bitchy attitudes at the club.

I dance at a bikini bar in Clearwater, FL and I usually go home with $250 - $600 per night. Probably the average is $300. Tipout for house is $20 and the dj is $10 or 10%. Pretty cool, Id say. I love my club.

i dont see a prob with this thread either. Although dont be a "2" and tell me you make 1800 a night or something, because we all know thats crap!

But my average is probally 600 lately. I make 300-1k nightly, and you can never tell!!

and last week i left early (11:30) frusturated, and with only 130 bucks!

it always depends, ive left with 40 bucks before months and months ago (but thats when i leave early (usually mad).

But on the other hand ive left with 1,500 before.

Just listen to what your coworkers say--at my club they constantly volunteer this information. "I am so mad at myself--I only made $600! That sucks!" If I make $400 after an 8 hour shift, I'm happy. I'd be thrilled to break $500 or $600. From what I've been hearing, about $700 for 8 or 9 hours is average at my club. Wonder what I'm doing wrong? Some people think I do so well, but I make crappy money compared to everyone else. One associate of mine was like, "$700 is probably a bad night for you." I wish. :)

i don't mind telling people how much i make when i'm doing ok, but it's kind of embarassing to admit my earnings when people expect strippers to make sooo much more. in all honesty i struggle to make $100 a night and i'm ecstatic when i make $200. i can count on like $500/wk to support myself with. strippers are supposed to be making $500 a night, not a week. but i used to work for minimum wage so its way easier to support myself on $500 a week than $150 a week from mcdonalds. i work from 7pm until 4am 5 nights a week.

um, you don't make much more than you would doing fast food, not if you struggle to get 100 in a nine hour shift. there's other work you could do to end up with 500 per week consistently if stripping is that crappy where you live.

100 in 9 hours?!?! whoaa. find somewhere else to dance cuz that's not worth it. (and btw this is a majorly resurrected thread noctina from 04)

Major ressurection! That's not enough! You're stripping naked for less than a typist makes at a small dorky office.

I don't think there is anything wrong with asking on this forum. If you find it offensive, don't open the thread and don't respond. We are rather anonymous here and we should feel at ease to talk about things we normally wouldn't with other dancers in real life.

This thread makes me feel a little self conscious because I make along the lines of what some mentioned on here 3 years ago, and 3 years of inflation has gone by!

I make ten million dollars a second.

That's how easy it is to lie on the net, and that's how seriously I would take any of these money threads.

oh, i don't think it's quite so bad as all that, although i do think plenty of girls are misleading and/or cagey about their earnings. generally the numbers thrown out around here fall under 'reasonable to expect for some dancers somewhere to have earned'.

that is to say, considering how little salary info is available for stripping, i honestly think the anecdotal self-reports on SW are accurate enough to extrapolate from. i don't think the BS level is that high here precisely because so many girls (while they may end up hanging out/working together) are geographically dispersed. so people feel safer and thus give more accurate info.

$200 on a slow night but the most I think I ever made was $1100 & it was from a married couple which is what I would rather do most of the time anyways.

I knew my average had gone up when I went home with 430 after a 6 hour shift and moped about.
