Joey ramone is god.
Sheena is a Punk Rocker
Well the kids are all hopped up and ready to go
They're ready to go now
They've got their surfboards
And they're going to the discotheque a go go
But she just couldn't stay
She had to break away
Well New York City really has it all
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
She's a punk punk, a punk rocker
Punk punk, a punk rocker
Punk punk, a punk rocker
Punk punk, a punk rocker
Well the kids are all hopped up and ready to go
They're ready to go now
They've got their surfboards
And they're going to the discotheque a go go
But she just couldn't stay
She had to break away
Well New York City really has it all
Oh yeah, oh yeah

I don't care for it, but people tell me all the time they think of me when they hear "My Humps", so that's my theme song baby :)

my theme songs are not really songs that pertain to my life, but songs that are constantly going through my head. its always onfe of the following, depending on the situation:
indiana jones- for when i'm walking purposefully, or driving, or wheni have an important "mission"
caliope- when i'm at work, around my family, or on different drugs (perscription)
old macdonald-when i'm trying to fall asleep, every night, i hear old macdonald in my head, it gets creepy!
batman- when i'm excited
old rugged cross- when i'm sad or thoughtful
of course they're in my head at other times as well... i just gave examples.

Today. my theme song would be:
"Rusty And Blue" by David Crosby & CPR
How can I sweep these words into a cluster
Put 'em in a pile like feathers on your floor?
Voyages and sea forests deep blue and rusty
Sew 'em in a satchel 'n leave 'em at your door
People's lives, people whose lives
They fascinate me
All my life, all my life
I've wanted to understand
There's a man on the corner he's got the moon in his eyes
He comes here to visit and he wears a disguise
And I wonder if he's looking for friends or for truth
I think he's calling for some in that telephone booth
And the smiling woman answers
She defeats fear with her eyes
She thinks life's fine so I think she's wise
And my heart wants to give her a gift that's so grand
That it will speak for me and tell her just where I stand
And I stand on a pillar and it's melting like ice
Of years that I've lived and some I've lived twice
And I have all these feathers and leaves on my floor
That I don't want just blowing around loose anymore
And I feel a need to gather to rummage and fetch
To shake out my life and give it a stretch
To bring shells to the surface and show them to you
Gifts from the sea floor rusty and blue
Now these two lives hold my attention quite well
You see lives almost never run parallel
Like the boards in the flooring all deep grained and worn
Fated and fitted long before we were born
People's lives, people whose lives
They fascinate me
All my life, all my life
I've wanted to understand
Understand
Understand
Bob Marley- No, Woman, No Cry :'( :)
No, woman, no cry;
No, woman, no cry;
No, woman, no cry;
No, woman, no cry.
Said - said - said: I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in trenchtown,
Oba - obaserving the ypocrites
As they would mingle with the good people we meet.
Good friends we have, oh, good friends weve lost
Along the way.
In this great future, you cant forget your past;
So dry your tears, I seh.
No, woman, no cry;
No, woman, no cry.
ere, little darlin, dont shed no tears:
No, woman, no cry.
Said - said - said: I remember when-a we used to sit
In the government yard in trenchtown.
And then georgie would make the fire lights,
As it was logwood burnin through the nights.
Then we would cook cornmeal porridge,
Of which Ill share with you;
My feet is my only carriage,
So Ive got to push on through.
But while Im gone, I mean:
Everythings gonna be all right!
Everythings gonna be all right!
Everythings gonna be all right!
Everythings gonna be all right!
I said, everythings gonna be all right-a!
Everythings gonna be all right!
Everythings gonna be all right, now!
Everythings gonna be all right!
So, woman, no cry;
No - no, woman - woman, no cry.
Woman, little sister, dont shed no tears;
No, woman, no cry.
I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in trenchtown.
And then georgie would make the fire lights,
As it was logwood burnin through the nights.
Then we would cook cornmeal porridge,
Of which Ill share with you;
My feet is my only carriage,
So Ive got to push on through.
But while Im gone:
No, woman, no cry;
No, woman, no cry.
Woman, little darlin, say dont shed no tears;
No, woman, no cry.
Eh! (little darlin, dont shed no tears!
No, woman, no cry.
Little sister, dont shed no tears!
No, woman, no cry.

POISON
Your cruel device
Your blood, like ice
One look could kill
My pain, your thrill
I want to love you but I better not touch (Don't touch)
I want to hold you but my senses tell me to stop
I want to kiss you but I want it too much (Too much)
I want to taste you but your lips are venomous poison
You're poison running through my veins
You're poison, I don't want to break these chains
Your mouth, so hot
Your web, I'm caught
Your skin, so wet
Black lace on sweat
I hear you calling and it's needles and pins (And pins)
I want to hurt you just to hear you screaming my name
Don't want to touch you but you're under my skin (Deep in)
I want to kiss you but your lips are venomous poison
You're poison running through my veins
You're poison, I don't wanna break these chains
Poison
One look could kill
My pain, your thrill
I want to love you but I better not touch (Don't touch)
I want to hold you but my senses tell me to stop
I want to kiss you but I want it too much (Too much)
I want to taste you but your lips are venomous poison
You're poison running through my veins
You're poison, I don't wanna break these chains
Poison
I want to love you but I better not touch (Don't touch)
I want to hold you but my senses tell me to stop
I want to kiss you but I want it too much (Too much)
I want to taste you but your lips are venomous poison, yeah
I don't want to break these chains
Poison, oh no
Runnin' deep inside my veins,
Burnin' deep inside my veins
It's poison
I don't wanna break these chains
Poison
FALLEN
Heaven bent to take my hand
And lead me through the fire
Be the long awaited answer
To a long and painful fight
Truth be told I've tried my best
But somewhere along the way
I got caught up in all there was to offer
And the cost was so much more than I could bear
Though I've tried, I've fallen...
I have sunk so low
I have messed up
Better I should know
So don't come round here
And tell me I told you so...
We all begin with good intent
Love was raw and young
We believed that we could change ourselves
The past could be undone
But we carry on our backs the burden
Time always reveals
The lonely light of morning
The wound that would not heal
It's the bitter taste of losing everything
That I have held so dear.
I've fallen...
I have sunk so low
I have messed up
Better I should know
So don't come round here
And tell me I told you so...
Heaven bent to take my hand
Nowhere left to turn
I'm lost to those I thought were friends
To everyone I know
Oh they turned their heads embarassed
Pretend that they don't see
But it's one missed step
You'll slip before you know it
And there doesn't seem a way to be redeemed
Though I've tried, I've fallen...
I have sunk so low
I have messed up
Better I should know
So don't come round here
And tell me I told you so...

Cocaine blues, by the one and only Johnny Cash.
Early one mornin' while makin' the rounds
I took a shot of cocaine and I shot my woman down
I went right home and I went to bed I stuck that lovin' 44 beneath my head
Got up next mornin' and I grabbed that gun took a shot of cocaine and away I run
Made a good run but I run too slow they overtook me down in Juarez Mexico
Late in the hot joints takin' the pills in walked the sheriff from Jericho Hill
He said Willy Lee your name is not Jack Brown
You're the dirty hack that shot your woman down
Said yes oh yes my name is Willy Lee if you've got the warrant just aread it to me
Shot her down because she made me slow
I thought I was her daddy but she had five more
When I was arrested I was dressed in black
They put me on a train and they took me back
Had no friend for to go my bail they slapped my dried up carcass in that country jail
Early next mornin' bout a half past nine I spied the sheriff coming down the line
Talked and he coughed as he cleared his throat
He said come on you dirty heck into that district court
Into the courtroom my trial began where I was handled by twelve honest men
Just before the jury started out I saw the little judge commence to look about
In about five minutes in walked the man holding the verdict in his right hand
The verdict read in the first degree I hollered Lordy Lordy have a mercy on me
The judge he smiled as he picked up his pin 99 years in the Folsom pen
99 years underneath that ground I can't forget the day I shot that bad bitch down
Come on you've gotta listen unto me lay off that whiskey and let that cocaine be

Today's theme song is with a certain thread in mind...
Elvis Costello - "New Amsterdam"
You're sending me tulips mistaken for lilies
You give me your lip after punching me silly
You turned my head 'til it rolled down the brain drain
If I had any sense now I wouldn't want it back again
New Amsterdam it's become much too much
'Til I have the possession of everything she touches
'Til I step on the brakes to get out of her clutches
'Til I speak double dutch to a real double duchess
Down on the mainspring, listen to the tick tock
Clock all the faces that move in on your block
Twice shy and dog tired because you've been bitten
Everything you say now sounds like it was ghost-written
New Amsterdam it's become much too much
'Til I have the possession of everything she touches
'Til I step on the brakes to get out of her clutches
'Til I speak double dutch to a real double duchess
Back in London they'll take you to heart after a little while
Though I look right at home I still feel like an exile
Somehow I found myself down at the dockside
Thinking 'bout the old days of Liverpool and Rotherhithe
Transparent people who live on the other side
Living a life that is almost like suicide
New Amsterdam it's become much too much
'Til I have the possession of everything she touches
'Til I step on the brakes to get out of her clutches
'Til I speak double dutch to a real double duchess

The Singing Sea
By Cris Mosdell
Performed by Tulivu-Donna Cumberbatch
The singing sea
The talking trees
A Silent in a noisy way
The stars are bright
But give no light
The world spins backward everyday
A rainbow rat
A checkered cat
Go tail in tail around the road
The mouse is pleased
The moon is cheese
The sun is shining hot and cold
A golden bird
Today I heard
Sitting upon a silver branch
His little song was very long
Which made me sad and start to laugh
My sister is he
My brother is she
But there is only me in the family
When I grow up
I'll go down
The river to the Singing Sea

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk.
Music loud and women warm.
I've been kicked around since I was born.
And now it's all right, it's O.K.
And you may look the other way.
We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man.
Whether you're a brother
Or whether you're a mother,
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Feel the city breakin'
And ev'rybody shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Ah, ha, ha, ha,
Stayin' alive.
Stayin' alive.
Ah, ha, ha, ha,
Stayin' alive.
Well now, I get low and I get high
And if I can't get either I really try.
Got the wings of heaven on my shoes
I'm a dancin' man and I just can't lose.
You know it's all right, it's O.K.
I'll live to see another day.
We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man.
Whether you're a brother
Or whether you're a mother,
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Feel the city breakin'
And ev'rybody shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Ah, ha, ha, ha,
Stayin' alive.
Stayin' alive.
Ah, ha, ha, ha,
Stayin' alive.
Life goin' nowhere.
Somebody help me.
Somebody help me, yeah.
Life goin' nowhere.
Somebody help me, yeah.
Stayin' alive
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk.

Today: "Everyday I Write The Book" by Elvis Costello 8)
Don't tell me you don't know what love is
When you're old enough to know better
When you find strange hands in your sweater
When your dreamboat turns out to be a footnote
I'm a man with a mission in two or three editions
And I'm giving you a longing look
Everyday, everyday, everyday I write the book
Chapter One we didn't really get along
Chapter Two I think I fell in love with you
You said you'd stand by me in the middle of Chapter Three
But you were up to your old tricks in Chapters Four, Five and Six
The way you walk
The way you talk, and try to kiss me, and laugh
In four or five paragraphs
All your compliments and your cutting remarks
Are captured here in my quotation marks
Don't tell me you don't know the difference
Between a lover and a fighter
With my pen and my electric typewriter
Even in a perfect world where everyone was equal
I'd still own the film rights and be working on the sequel

:sing: Today, it has to be "Time Loves A Hero" by Little Feat :sing:
Well they say time loves a hero
but only time will tell
If he's real, he's a legend from heaven
If he ain't he was sent here from hell
Hear me well
Seein' ain't always believin'
Just make sure it's the truth that you're seein'
Eyes sometimes lie, eyes sometimes lie
They can be real deceivin'
I got an Uncle in Puerto Rico
Spends his days in the sun
His nights in the casinos
He left the States many years ago
Took a fishin' boat to Puerto Rico
Now my aunt, she is sad and lonely
She'll never know that she drove him away
As a coward I admire his courageous ways
Well they say time loves a hero
but only time will tell
If he's real, he's a legend from heaven
If he ain't he was sent here from hell
Some say my uncle, that he's a zero
His life is as a shell, he left it back at Stateside
I'd say he's doin' pretty well, without his shell
Bumming 'round the beaches of Puerto Rico
The beauty of the sunrise and sunset
To his friends he wish he could tell
They're at home still runnin' for bells
Better San Juan than that blue collar hell
Well they say time loves a hero
but only time will tell
If he's real, he's a legend from heaven
If he ain't he was sent here from hell

Eh, depends on my day. IRL, it used to be Figured You Out by Nickelback. Mostly, I think it's currently Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry, except I'm not a hooker. My fiance once made a comment about Into the Night by Carlos Santana and the guy from Nickelback.
But ultimately, when you take into account my overall personality and the lolita type stage persona (which has got rave reviews from male friends, anime fanatics or otherwise) I've put together for when I start work down in Houston, Candy Girl by Smile.dk seems to hit all the right notes. I can actually dance to it fairly well and it's a real attention grabber. May seem a bit annoying reading, but it's really interesting to hear. Here's the lyrics-
I can't dance alone
Will you come dance with me?
Let's have a party!
[hook]
Do do be do be do be do be do be do be do be do ,
do be do be do
Do be do do be do be do be do be do be do be do be,
do do be do be do.
I'm no bimbo
Boys love me
Ooh baby!
I like candy
Da da de de dum
Come on...
( Chorus )
Come take my hand, come and dance with me
My sweet lips will make you see
I will take you through the night, stay until the morning light
I'm your candy girl
I'm your candy girl ( Why do you tease me? )
I'm your candy girl ( Baby Baby please me )
I'm your candy girl ( Why do you tease me? )
I'm your candy girl
I wanna have some candy
Ooh bubblegum, I love you boys
I wanna be your bubblegum
Da da de de dum
Come on...
(Chorus)
[hook]
Come on...
[hook]
(Chorus)
I'm your candy girl...(x8)
Why do you tease me?

Somebody to love
When the truth is found to be lies
And all the joy within you dies
Don't you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love
When the garden flowers baby are dead yes
And your mind is full of red
Don't you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love
Your eyes, I say your eyes may look like his
But in your head baby I'm afraid you don't know where it is
Don't you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love
Tears are running ah running down your breast
And your friends baby they treat you like a guest
Don't you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love

I feelin alright
Cuz nothing feels like when you're holdin on

It's kinda forever changing for me. A lot of the time it's something silly and stupid. I walked around Downtown Denver this afternoon rockin out to "Put Yo Hood Up" by Lil Jon feeling rediculously gangsta in my rolled up skinneh jeans and Blaqk Audio tanktop with oversized white sunglasses...such epicly gangsta attire!
Overall It's usually "On A Friday" by Blaqk Audio.
Did he want you?
Did you want to?
Did you question what it meant to you
with the beat between your breaths?
So lets cut clean to the sex scene.
Drop the white lines cuz no one is clean
and this beat won't wait for you.
Safe to say that you won't recall
So let's pretend nothing happened at all.
Oh my love, where's the danger?
All my life, I'm dancing with strangers
Did he want you?
Did you want to?
Did you question what they'd think of you
with the beat between your breaths?
So let's cut fast to the car crash
Where the future went down with the past
cuz this beat won't wait for you
Safe to say that I can't recall
So let's just admit nothing matters at all.

Tonight, it's "Good Man In The Storm" by Level 42
It just occurred to me
I must be blind
Why do I try so hard to keep my cool
When I'm about to lose my mind?
There was a vision
Flashing by
Of a summers' day I spent with you
Of a child who never learnt how to cry
When those around me
Fall in despair
I call upon my common sense
'Cause someone has to care
A sudden decision
I can't explain
Though I've often tried to change the rules
The game remains the same
For love
I've played the part so many times
It fits me like a glove
But I'm the victim
In the bitter end
I know you need me to be strong
Just don't know how much longer I can pretend
You always need me to be
A good man in a storm
It sometimes scares me
The further we go
Just how much we understand
And just how much we know
So whatever happened
In our hearts
While making perfect sense of life
We still remain so far apart
You always want me to be
A good man in a storm
Trying to fit the social norm
And be a good man in a storm
Trying hard since I was born
To be a good man in a storm
