But if a dancer does not want to tell then that is her right but all I am saying that some Men might like it and it could result in a benefit for her.
Ummm... I'm by no means an expert here, but if a guy finds out you make, say, $50,000 a year won't he think, "Well damn. She doesn't need my tips then!" ?? Especially if the man makes less? I mean, I don't go to my lawyer and say "how much do you make?" and decide "hmm... well, that's pretty good, maybe I'll double my retainer for good measure!"
I think you are still missing my point that some men might like it and want give her even more $$ because of that. Again, Give a Customer what he wants and it will keep him happy and he will; want to do business with you again. It is a Law of Business.
I understand that there are some men that might get excited to hear what we make. But since those guys don't have it tattooed on their foreheads, I generally avoid answering directly. Especially since I would figure that the majority of men would fall into the "what does she need MY money for then?" category.

Gynger, my point is that some Men might like to know and do so because it excites them to see dancers making good money.
I always believe that in any business, you give your Customers what they want and they do business with you. Most Dancers are Independent Contractors (sort of) so I guess if a Dancer sees that her Customer wants to know and sees a potential for her personal gain out of it and it pleases her customer. then I dont see a problems there.
But if a dancer does not want to tell then that is her right but all I am saying that some Men might like it and it could result in a benefit for her.
I feel a debate coming on... LOL...
Okay, all the while that yes, it could be a benefit, but really, if I were to tell everyone who is a customer how much I make, I am not really benefiting in any way. Why?
Case in point: If I say too little, then they ask, "What's wrong with you?" if I say too much, then they ask, "Well, shit, why give this girl more?"
Giving your customers what they ask is one thing, but as being a customer, I don't ask questions that will be delivered with a complete look of shock, or look of "WTF?"
I have had customers ask me how much I make, or why I am there at my club... and my answer is always the same, "I make enough, and I'm here because I choose to be, not because I have to be."
It sounds like to me you have a thrill of money- ie: you say you like watching dancers count money out of their garters, etc...
I can take $100 and make it look like a lot of money by trading it in for one's, but its still only $100- just like I can tell as many lies as I want to to a customer and they are just that- lies. I don't believe in disclosing personal financial information to my customers, however, if they wish to give me a nice fat tip, I gladly accept it, but I refuse to lie. Its just not my business practices.

Hmmm.... maybe it is the drink I had talking but it may be a more twisted fetish... all I can think of is the the more money you make, the more dirty/nasty you are - some guys harbor a lot of negative feelings towards women. They can only get off if with women they view as dirty, slutty, whorish. Thats all I can think of - a money fetish doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I have come across this ? in & out both dancing, waitressing, etc. To me any benefit would be outweighed by my disclosing something that is none of their biz. Mostly people that would try to manipulate me for $, or guys that think, "I have to work harder than her for less $, poor me, lucky her. As was said, I don't ask that, if asked, "I don't discuss that". Loose lips sink ships, Y give someone a stick to beat u with.

I've always responded to the question with, "Now, now...how do I know that you don't really work for the IRS?" *wink, wink*
I won't ever tell anyone how much I make. It's no one's business. Besides...If I start opening my mouth how much I make...who's to say that it won't get distorted (Chinese telephone) and get inflated? Then, get passed around to other customers/dancers/floor guys...and if the floor guys feel that I am being dishonest about my earnings...dontcha think that'll come back and bite me in the ass? No, thanks...I'll keep my business my business.
No, Darren, the more money I make the more of a Goddess I am. And the more of a Goddess I am the more of a pathetic bitchboy sgt johnny is. :-)

I have to chime in on the side of those girls who have posted that when guys think that a dancer is earning/being paid a ton of money that they're much LESS likely to part with good tips. I run into this constantly because the club customers assume that I'm being paid a huge feature fee by the club (yeah I wish), therefore I should be expected to chat them up for free.

FBR she does not answer. But then again, very few answer my PM's. But then Again, she may not be available. We will see. Being a Money Slave esp. To Dancers is a lot more difficult then you may think it to be.

how's this for an answer to "how much money do you make?" you make enough to not be on government assistance (most of you anyways who know how to save your money and all) but not as much as bill gates.

I dont know why? I am asking nicely. I dont use profanity nor intimidate. I try to treat people the way I want to be treated. I can understand why some Women will not respond as they may be bombarded with constant PM's that I could understand. Yes, I may come on too strong at times but that is my Military Background, but I use that part of action to defend my allies but before they know me they think something else. In any case, I just think it polite to respond back.

This is actually a smart reply as it focuses the patron/punter back on to the selling (or not selling ) of a lap dance. ;D
The only time this wouldn't work is when one works in a percentage club (like two of the clubs on the Gold Coast currently are run)... as you don't make that whole VIP price.. only whatever percentage of it.
In the end, I either allude to only my accountant needs to know that information and since the patron/punter isn't my account.. they do not need to know.
Or else.. use the tried and true
ME: Can you keep a secret ?
PUNTER: Yeah...
ME: Me too! ;) ;)
That last one comes with thanks to Dancer Wealth (Adam) as he posted that response to being asked about ANYTHING (age, marital status, income, etc)... and so far it has worked for me.

Let me clear up what seems to be a confusing topic.
Does it turn us (being men other than Sarge) on to know how much money a dancer makes?
NO.........NO..........NO...........NO

If I'm not mistaken,Sarge likes anything pertaining to the fairer sex.So EVERYTHING about us turns him on.

A money slave is a person who gives you any amount of money you TELL that person to give. This is without anything in exchange. These people tend to have alot of money and just get hooked on a certain female, and give it up.....Again the female does nothing in exchange, except acknowledge him.
Another (not actually a real money slave) is a guy giving up amount told for a service from female, whatever service that may be, say telling him to (over phone, after phone sex session) leave her a huge tip. Or in real life, telling him to give her $500 for a new outfit, but will wear it for him and other guys too.
A "real" money slave expects nothing but to give up $$$, no questions asked, and they are NEVER asked to do so, they are told. They are rich, and this is a fetish actually.

Know what to do. This is funny but women do this. Hit a chat room made for "money slaves."
I had a guy offer me $200 for 1 pair of pantyhose!!!!! Hell yea i took it. All he wanted was a picture of me in pantyhose with the pantyhose i wore. No nudes.
He is cool. They are out there, but you do have to keep in contact with them. A "real" MS likes to be told what to do, ask him.....You may lose him.
It's soooooo funny. Do-able....YES. Too much time, and i have no interest, but played that one day, and got $200.

Dude. I have a military background, too. It really doesn't apply to my actions on a stripper site, though.
I don't have problems getting my PM's answered, but I don't send out very many. (It looks like I originated 10 PM's in the last four months, about evenly split between guys and girls.) But if a PM is not answered, I would just shrug - if my comment was unsolicited, there's no special requirement to answer it.
I wouldn't describe your statements as strong, but as fairly off-center. (Madcap, is that one of those understatement things again?) As such, I can't imagine a lot of ladies here wanting to encourage a drawn-out private conversation with you.

My Income Tax form for 2003 says that I made $3,000 last year. There you have it - straight from the horses mouth and in to the Government.
