I went down to the Wagon Wheel tonight for an interview and I'm already skeptical about this place. The manager talked to me for about 15 minutes and said he would put me on the schedule..he never asked for my id (most people say I look 19 and some say 17)..and he never asked me to audition. I'm feeling skeptical about the tip out policy. It's $75.00 on the week night and $100.00 on the weekends. You also aren't on a payroll. Is this to much in your opinion?

Hmmmm...the wagon wheel has been around a long time in different locations...and I have NEVER heard good things about...i.e. its nasty.
So if youre into pushing the limits to that extreme to make your money go for it but why? when you have sooooo many other options in the area?
I have heard many, many stories over the years about that club...
STAY AWAY!

I am also trying to get a job in the MD area - don't really know where to begin. I have never danced before but I have a nice body, blonde, told I'm very sexy. My b/f thinks I can make money at it and I need to do something to make money! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Should I just visit some clubs first and then inquire, or call and inquire, or what? I'm such a newbie! I love reading the posts on here though - it's nice to know we can all help each other!

What have you all heard about Night Shift? When I was a Hustler Baltimore I met some girls from there who really liked it. They said they make lots of stage tips too.

Anyone?

I went to Night Shift once to audition. From what I saw it looked like you could make money there. I found a spot in dc that I went to instead because it was alot closer to me. Unless if you live out in Baltimore..I'd look around your area for something else because it's a pain to drive all the way out there through the tunnel..

I suggest visiting some of the local clubs first to see if the business is good and if you like it..then ask the owner in person if he's hiring dancers and go from there. I started out with no experience either..when your in the clubs visiting, watch how the other dancers move and practice some of those moves at home. Do you already have a costume and dance shoes? If not then I can recommend some places to go too. Send me a pm if you have any more questions.

Except for the Block, I've been going to most of the MD clubs for years and I've come to the conclusion that Gentlemen's Gold Club is by far the nicest. Several of the girls who work there have told me they really like the way it's managed. It's large and classy, very friendly, not a whole lot of touching, and you get to keep all the lap dance money you earn (except for the special VIP rooms, eg. the Gold Room). Stage dancing is full nude if that makes any difference. Open days and nights. Full bar, good food.

Hey, I know this thread is old but I was wondering if anyone here had any more information on the royal palace. Does anyone know what's the deal behind that place? I heard that alot of "extras" go on and that's not something I will be doing.

The Royal Palace is a dump. It's basically the last stop for a DC dancer. Avoid it at all costs.

Nah, don't go to the Palace. It sucks and it's yucky.
