[QUOTE=Amethyst] I've learned to accept and appreciate being 5'0 95-98 lbs.QUOTE]
Wow Amethyst, I am also 5ft and weigh 91 pounds >:( I'm also aiming for 100 pounds mainly on my legs, buttocks, shoulders and arms, but it's hard work! I did not think Tai Chi would help build muscle, but I will definitely look into it :) Thank you!

I'm not extremely happy with my body. I am, however, a lot more comfy in my own skin after losing 80lbs. I've always been a gym rat. I work out every chance I get, but I was pretty hefty on top of that. I'm a much better athlete since I lost the weight. I'm "healthy" now, as some people put it, but I'm trying to lose more. If I had the body, I'd def. strip.

I'm trying to make a promise to myself that I will only get a BA if my boobs are sagging after I have my babies. Not before then!! And i'm not having babies for a while!!!

I dislike having really broad shoulders. I know it's stupid and it's not like I can actually do anything about it, but seriously, when I took ballet classes I got stuck with the 'male' part a couple of times because I'm 5'8" whereas the other dancers were 5'2"-4" and they were, more, what's the description, like cylindrical from a bird's eye view, whereas I'm an elongated oval.
Other that than, I'm trying to tone my tummy, as it just sticks out. Is mostly muscle, not a lot of fat there and it's not like I can't suck it in, but it used to be that unless I'd just eaten a big meal, I didn't have to. Now I do. If I can tone just my tummy, though, I'm gonna have a kick-ass hourglass, boobies are a nice size and so's thighs and butt.
I'm 5'8" and took my weight at 132lb right before xmas. My mom yells at me when I lose weight.

There are times when I'm ecstatic with my body, and times when I hate it. I, like luna, have the uber-wide, broad shoulder thing going on. I wish I could lose th weight and be svelt and slim, but my structure will not allow that. The dr. even told my dad when I was being born that he was going to have a little linebacker. Low and behold, they have a softball player. In highschool, I went from relatively average sized to fat (max weight of 285). I got scared that I would never be able to play college ball, so lost the weight fast. I look sooo much better than I did, but I still have work to be done. I have a very muscular build, I just have a little more weight to lose. It's also hard wen you have teammates who weigh 110 lbs running around eating granola bars all day and saying how fat they feel. :-\

It's really great to read everyone's assessments of themselves. Most of them are positive and that's really encouraging/inspiring. I'm blessed with a very high metabolism that, while wonderful because I can eat whatever I please, doesn't motivate me to work out. So, I would love to see myself become more fit and healthy, but my bod is still rockin'!

DSUsb19, haha about the line backer thing, my bf and I were joking the other day, because he knows that I never did any athletics as a kid:
bf: I'd be the parent that makes them play football.
me: and what if your kid was a girl?
bf: They can still play! And no friggin' kicker either, it's linebacker or nothing!
me: uh-huh. with your build? [my bf is 6'3" and weighes 150lb]
bf: hey! my old coach said if I actually trained I could be built...
me: and with my shoulders...
bf: She'd be an awesome linebacker.
:P

I am 5'7 and 124 lbs....i have a "small frame" So my lean body mass is actually around 116lbs...Grrr I hate trying to lose these last 10 pounds or so. I look fine, but I have a little wrinkle on my back when I arch that I hate...and still some hip pudge. I'm workin really hard on my ass...my hard spot cause I got a lot back there....it just needs to be pulled up some more. I've been doing home workouts and walking every once in a while....but I know I won't be happy till that scale says 117. I am actually at the lightest I have ever been right now, used to fluctuating between 130-135....so I am somewhat ok right now...but I'm a perfectionist....

Hun, I hate to tell you this but you're going to have the crease in your back when you arch majorly no matter what weight you are. It's skin and you need that in order to move comfortably around in your body. lol, sounds silly, I know. Have you ever noticed that no matter how skinny someone is their belly still creases.... for example when someone puts their legs behind their head. It's the same deal, you're just going the other way.
Why are we all so obsessed about weight? It sorta makes me sad reading this thread. Most of us are not comfortable in our own bodies.:(

I just started noticing it when I saw this true life on mtv...this girl was posing for playboy and the photographer made her put a mesh shirt on because she had the roll....and the girl was in damn good shape.....so then i was like, hey i have that too.....Over all I am happy in my skin, i just took the opportunity to complain a little....i only get sad when i get blasted by evil fluorescent lights!

Ive had people lately why I am so obessed with my wieght. It bothers me but what is so wrong with trying to look "perfect" in out own eyes? I would like the teeny lumps in my butt to go away and to have rock hard abs along with smooth thighs...etc etc. Forever trying to perfect ourselves to be beautiful; its really hard. :(
Im 5' 4" and now at 145 (since I was sick today maybe a lil less?) Its hard trying to look good because of back pain and many other factors that prohibit me from going to the gym.
And for my next trick.......dieters tea with about 2-3 body wraps to try to make it a lil easier to feel better about myself.

I'm fairly happy with my body in general. I'm 5'3" and 110lbs, so I'm trying to gain another 10 or so. I hate feeling tired and under the weather all of the time from being underweight! But beyond that I'm happy. I have very thin arms, an average bust, and a big ol booty! 36B-27-37 and a lot of folks say I'm shaped like a violin. Hee! ^____^ I get a lot of comparison to pin up gals, which I can't see but it's SUCH a compliment! I lurv curvy ladies.

im actually really happy with myself. the only thing i can honestly see 'wrong' with myself is my stomach... and thats only because there is a little bump there as its untoned. i spent growing up agonising over how i looked and dispairing because i didnt 'fit it' with how everyone expected you to look... i got so sick of feeling like that, so eventually i just had to accept myself! im working on my 'flaw' but to be honest, i dont think i will ever get wonderful washboard abs. im 5 ft 5 and 126lbs... im healthy, so thats good enough for me!
