I am really a night owl. I come to life around midnight. I like to go to bed as late as possible and wake up around 2pm.

Total night owl. That's typically my excuse for being in the adult busniess, I can make my own hours. I don't like getting up before noon, it sucks.

When I'm working in Reno though I have to work the 10am-10pm shift so I get up around 11:30 ;D When the cashier is calling into my room yelling at me!

When I'm in Dallas I like to work 7p-2a and then go to another club and work 3a-6a. I love watching the sunrise BEFORE going to bed.

Night, night, night. I'm so nocturnal that I've spontaneously developed night-vision capability. It's pretty cool. I can even see in the infrared, and if I'm really drunk, the ultraviolet.

True story: Years ago, one of my employees was sharing stories about my night work habits with one of our clients.

Employee: "Yeah, he works all night long. You never see him during the day. And when he walks by a mirror, there is no reflection."

Client: "Really? Wow!"

I would tell you the government agency this client worked for, but that alone would be far more scary than any vampire story.

Night person, hands down. I was always like this, and perhaps that's one reason i love this industry. I do have kids, so they get me up a lot in the am....i just have become the king of naps. I can't wait til next year when the twins are in kindergarten....i'll get up and get everyone off to school...and then crash back out til noon. That will be marvelous, oh yes.

On a side note, being nocturnal is only really fun if you live in a somewhat urban area. In the sticks it's awful since absolutely NOTHING is open. I love doing my grocery shopping at 4 am when no one else is around.

Night person. Everything seems more exciting at night. Clubbing of course is one of those things, an occasional bar, eating dinner dimly lit or by candlelight.

I'd rather do driving during the day, though. My night vision is not very good and so rainy weather at night is really rough. I do have great vision at night for hot things up close, though - I don't even need my glasses. }:D

There is absolutely no attraction to waking up to the sun in the morning - TURN IT OFF! It takes forever to really wake up, too. I'm good by noon at work, but much of my best is still done at night.

My best schedule for waking hours would probably be wake up at 10AM and go to sleep by 2AM.

Most definitely a night person! The only time one should see daylight is if you're just getting off shift, or coming in from drinking all night.

I used to be a night person when I worked at night. But now that I work during the day I am up all day but still sometimes don't go to bed until 12, 1 or 2 in the morning. I feel like I waste the day if I wake up around noon. But understandable if you work at night then that is normal.

My typical week is like this:
Wake up at 7 a.m.
Leave by 9:30a.m. to get to Orlando
Get there about 10:30ish and get ready to dance.
Dance til' 7:10 and get home at like 9 p.m.

The driving makes me tired.. If there was a good place to dance where I live (and since I'm living with the parents again) I wouldn't be so tired.

Night person all the way--always have been, always will be.

It does suck in smaller towns, since nothing is open in the middle of the night.

I already posted on this thread, but I'm totally a night person. I usually stay up until 4 or 5 am, and I rarely wake up before noon. Just wanted to add that I absolutely hate it when my friends with regular jobs will act like I'm lazy for sleeping past noon. It's like they don't realize that I'm on a completely different time schedule than they are!

I myself prefer nights...

Monday to Friday I'm up by 8 and into work by 9. I leave work at 5'ish and I'm in bed by around 1 am.

However on the weekends I keep dancer's hours! I'm in the club by 10 PM and out by 2. Usually stay up surfing (SW of course :)) until 4 or 5 am. I don't wake up until around noon.

This makes Mondays extremely painfull!!

I was born at night and have been nocturnal ever since. Even now that I'm retired from dancing and work in the corporate world, even though I have to be up by 6am M-F now, I still usually dont get to bed till 1am or so and on the weekend I go right back in to my old habits, up till 4 or 5 and sleep till 1 or 2 in the afternoon. I actually think my mind is clearer and I am more productive at night verses the day.

Nightime. I always feel tired and a bit ill in the day. But after the sun sets I'm good to go. No idea why. Does anyone know about circadian rhythms/what makes a person noctural etc?
