Dam :( I was gonna try that the next time I went to a club. Maybe I won't LOL
You know keeping with his theroy, maybe we should ask the dancers to pay us for dances LMFAO

You know, maybe it would not work on 9 out of 10 dancers, but maybe it will work on 4 out of 5 dentists.

I'll try on my dentist - she may be married, but she is kinda hot :-P

Yes Ryan, that's exactly how one makes money when they are a stripper, at least it's how it works for me. I just stand in front of the men and drop my skirt and then just try and dodge the $100 bills that come flying at me from every direction. It's awesome!!!

Seriously though....are you delusional or just impossibly immature? And why are you so impressed with $2,000 a week if you have created such a supposed affluence for yourself from your "rental properties?"

Gather up what shreds of maturity you may have and stop expecting other people (especially your girlfriend) to compensate for your obviously pathetic qualities.

It's not a problem if you ask, it's a problem if you expect the dancer to pay.

Exactly....if some customer at my club asked ME to take HIM to dinner I would laugh right in his face and walk away.
HAhaHA I would have the exact same reaction.

Another thing about taking a dancer to dinner....
Lot's of times if a guy is a regular and tends to spend money, he asks a dancer to dinner---she may not want to go, but feels obligated to, and like she should go, as not to offend him and have him quit visiting her in the club. She'll just go out so that she won't lose a good customer. I've felt that pressure many a times before, and I have lost many customers because I did not see them outside the club and some other girl did.

Hmm, I don't think it's a bad idea that a dancer takes a client to dinner because after all we help them pay their bills, right? (kidding ;D)

I'm a little late to the party, but here's my reply:

In answering Chuck's original question: I've had all three with a dancer at some point (lunch in her off time, breakfast after work, and dinner, both on her off time and before/after work). I had one ATF/friend that I regularly had lunch with; we would alternate who pays (and no, we wouldn't go to a steakhouse on my dime and McDonald's on hers <lol>).

As for who *should* pay, I think it's up to the couple, but a chivalrous guy would at least pay for dinner. I don't think a "gratuity" for her time is appropriate unless agreed upon prior, and unless she's going out with you instead of going to work.

To Mariah: I'm sorry that you've lost customers just because you wouldn't see them outside the club. (I don't see anything wrong with a customer asking out a dancer if you've made a (rare) genuine connection, but at the same time the dancer shouldn't feel obligated to go out with him just to preserve future business.)

And to Prester_John: I hope your dentist wasn't the fifth of 5 ;)

if a customer wanted to take me out to dinner, i would have to be VERY interested & intrigued by him to accept; in my club it is not really acceptable for dancers to go out with customers. but as i said, if i was really interested in the guy, screw the club, i would go.
as for they guy "compensating": i would NEVER expect the guy to compensate me for my time!!! that is ridiculous, IMHO. if it was just a friendly date, sure, i would pay my way. if it was a romantic kind of date, then i would offer to pay my half, but i would expect the guy to pick it up if he was interested in me.

In answer to your question, yes to all three but only with one dancer and it was an arduous process involving
six months of her getting to know me before we actually went out. I paid for dinner and lunch. The meal not her time.
We did Sunday brunch and I paid for meal not her time.
She also checked me out with a record check. I did the same to her. (Isn't mutual trust grand?) We've both been hurt in the past and are equally suspicious of someone who seems too good to be true. Strangely we passed each others secret record check of each other.

She actually said that if we went out, (which she doubted)
I shouldn't have to pay for her time out of the club.
The first outing was I picked her up for lunch at her work.
At the conclusion of lunch, which was a bit strained but
confortable, she said, "At least you don't look strange in the daytime. You would be amazed what people in the club look like with out makeup in the daytime." I looked at her and said I would take that as a compliment.

Had a couple of no shows where she said yes and didn't show. Once she was sick but showed up in a rainstorm
to have two drinks with me and show good faith.

The "I am really sick drink" actually was the turning point. Once prior to that she just buzzed me off after saying yes on Saturday for a Tuesday night dinner. However she called to explain and cancel. I didn't expect the call saying she was sorry but wouldn't go out with me. At least she had manners. The phone call saying no but explaining made me redouble my efforts. Strange isn't it?

The third time (No show) was the day she kicked out her live in boyfriend and locked herself in the bedroom.
By then I knew where she lived and I showed up
at her place as the guy was moving with a moving truck.
She didn't know I was there and called up to say on Monday I was a good man, and hoped we wouldn't break up and
explained why whe didn't show up.

In general she had fair to good excuses for not showing up,
which I verified. We've been to dinner four times, lunch six times, brunch three times, threw her a birthday party ,(once),
and met her mother... once. Been over to her place about five times and her over to my hotel four times.
(I always rent a suite so she will be comfortable and can sit down and watch TV before we go out.)

Her initial mistake as a new dancer was to tell me her real name and where she really worked. I later created a fictious workplace and address so she would have a better cover
at the club than telling guys her real information.
Seemed to work I heard her use it a couple of times.

The dancer mis direction was there extensively in other ways as she gave me a fake address that sent me on a two lane road to a non existent location (which we laugh about now).

She seldom drove her real car to the club and leased a
dancer car... which if you trace the plates comes
back to an auto dealer. Her drunken ex live in
would bang up the car in accidents so she constantly
had different new cars under the loaner program which
really confused me for about six months. They all traced to the same dealer. Why would you lease six cars and own another? This through me off for a long time. Not to mention the club valet and bouncers could never figure out what was her car.

As there was a customer stalking her, her precautions were justified. With the assistance of the club and a bouncer,
the customer stalker has gotten the message and disappeared.

She lives in a gated commmunity with access control and private streets, so they don't show on a map.
The title to the property and phone are in her live in's
name... so she doesn't show on any record system.

Her big mistake (which was freudian) was handing me her drivers license while we were shopping. (She paid for her own clothes not me.)

She no longer dances and we still communicate. Been about
three months now so if she wanted to get rid of me it should
have happened by now. She said I could stay at her place
if I came down, and reminded me to bring a pillow because
I would be on the couch in the living room.

We truly do get along, on a professional, social, team work
basis. I've met her co workers, boss and mother.
She was really mad at me for meeting her mother, as
she was forced to introduce me to her mother who was standing there at the apartment or I was unexplainable.

It's been over one year five months, and took over
six months for her to even give me a little chance... which I could have screwed up and failed.

The bottom line, which she said is that she always
liked me from the first. Didn't trust me, and
thought I was a potential sleezeball for going to s strip club
but for some reason liked me. When she calls me a
sleezeball in jest I call her a stripper.

So dating a stripper calls for alot of time and money,
and skill in investigation background checks and
stakeouts, mutual distrust, GPS mapping abilities,
and the ability to remember license plates on
numerous cars.

Oh... she rifled through the registration papers of my car
when I didn't fly and ran a credit check on me.

We're a couple of the 21st century as we think alike.

I enjoy having dinner with a dancer. As I stated before, I have had dinner with dancers I have danced with (as a customer) and I've had dinner with SW members that I have not danced with. Both occasions were an enjoyable experience.

As a matter of fact, I have arranged to have dinner with Velvet the next time I'm in Florida. I am not a customer and have never visited her at her club, although at some point, I'm sure I will ;)

We are just SCJ buddies. It should be fun and I'm looking forward to it. We may even visit a local SC after dinner. ::) Hey we are both SCJ's so where else would we go ;)

Dang Chuck, how do you do it? [rollin]

A moderator's job has its priveledges I guess. ;)

Just a word to all our SW/SCJ ladies, if for whatever remote reason you should have to visit Wichita (I know it isn't exactly a tourist mecca), drop me a PM. I'd be more than happy to pay for dinner and be your tour guide.
