I cannot believe Lexis left the Hi-Liter to go to that dump. Now, I'm gonna have to make a stop after my next BSC run to see my latest project.

Thanks, RH.

CPActually she's working at both, Hi-Liter during the day, new place at night, I'm guessing that won't last long though as the money potential just doesn't seem nearly as high there.

CPFrom what I've seen it's really not that bad a place. It may be new club syndrome, but Dea is making MUCH better money there than she was at Diamond Jack.
Of course I think her switch to nights may have something to do with it too but who knows

Trip Report: Christie's on a Monday

It was a slow Monday afternoon and I hadn't been in a while so I drop in at 5:30pm and get a water (those big Voss bottles taste good and last a long while).

Knowing it was going to be slow, I find a spot within view of the TV's so I can watch Shaq beat up on the Bulls while waiting for some talent.

The place was slightly empty - actually not bad for a Monday. I hadn't been there for a while and noticed the mix of dancers had a lot of new faces. Most of the new faces seemed to be newer dancers and most had good bodies - no bolt ons, which is nice.

One thing I noticed during my entire stay was that there were no ladies walking around looking for dances. They relied solely on guys approaching them onstage or asking the bouncers. Management needs to remind the gals that not all customers want to chase down a dance - some like the suprise of being approached. Oh well.

Waited for an hour stage tipping until I recognized Paradise - a gal who is also from LA and not bad to talk to. She likes to give an aggressive stage dance and is real good on the pole. She almost seemed upset with me for stage tipping her because it drew her away from the pole - then she insists that I position myself so she can do some acrobatic thing with her legs on my shoulders. Really not my cup of tea, but I smile and play along because I know it's good for her biz.

After her set, I still haven't seen a dancer walking the floor for a dance - it's been almost two hours now. I see Paradise sitting upstairs checking out the scene and I waive her down.

Pleasant conversation for a minute, she's a good dancer who knows the grind really well. I do want to tell her that she's over-selling the alluring stare with me, but she seems to pick up on my casual mood and settles in.

Four dances and I thank her and tip her well. She recognizes me from a long time ago and we talk a little bit. Things are real slow so I watch the game and drink the next round of Voss (water tastes better coming out of a cold glass bottle).

I'm about to leave when Paradise returns asking if she can cuddle briefly (they've got the air turned down real cold). Nice conversation about dancing, the NASCAR weekend, a little SS about her boyfriend (you mean there might be a chance to replace that schmuck?!!!) ;)

The DJ announces she's two songs away so I get one more quick dance, tip her well and go on my way.

Nothing tremendous to report - but the next time I'm there I think I may try the new gal Angel - she looks like she's got a good attitude.

Was this 32nd St. or Baseline? (Now that I think of it, your TR mentions a pole, and Baseline doesn't have a pole, so I guess that answers my question...)

I've been completely ignored for hours at the Baseline Christies, almost having to tackle dancers to get them to come by for a dance. However, the ladies at 32nd St are much friendlier, and work the room very well, approach customers all the time! Maybe it was the late afternoon timing.

AZDD -

Yep - it was 32nd street. Usually the gals are better at working the room. It was probably a mix of the late afternoon thing (I took off around 7:45) and the post-NASCAR weekend thing.

The place was light on dancers - usually they start to arrive around 6:30 or so, but there were only about 12-18 gals there when I left.

I was glad to see that not all the gals were in gowns - I like a good mix. The mood does seem a little more professional this year and less partylike than last year at this time.

Hey Phoenicians...I'm going to be in town on business in a couple of weeks (May 9-12). Not sure if I'm going to have a chance to go out clubbing (staying in Scottsdale/Paradise Valley area, will not have a rental car)...but if I were to hit a club or two, what would be the most convenient and best mix of eye candy & mileage? Would it be cost-prohibitive to cab it from where I'll be to either Central Phoenix, or Tempe?

I read through the first and last few pages of this thread, so I know about the Scottsdale City Council's efforts to ban nudity & LDs in the clubs...I presume that since the referendum isn't til September that current rules apply?

Where are you staying? How far north will you be? The two Scottsdale clubs may even be a bit of a ride if you are way up north (both are in south Scottsdale). The Scottsdale clubs (Babe's and Skin) both have lots of eye candy but the mileage is nothing to write home about at either. The best clubs in town are for a mix of eye candy & mileage are the Hi-Liter (especially daytime), Bourbon Street, and Christie's (in Phoenix, not Tempe). Round trip cab fare will cost you for any of them though, you could seriously probably rent a car for a day for cheaper. Here's another thought, try the Candy Store, it's in north Phoenix, you can off set the cab fare through the $5 lap dance prices.

As far as varity in eye candy... we at the Vegas Club have a great varity in dancers , something for every guy's taste. The club is still being redone from the previous club it was but is coming along very nicely. If you are more interested in a "high end looking" club well then maybe Vegas isn't for you but if the girls and having a fun night out is what you are looking for instead of just what the building looks like then come on in and see us :).

I'm staying at the Hilton, and I'll be in town Tuesday-Thursday nights (flying out on Friday morning). It looks like I'll be booked up from 7am-8pm with my company's conference/training.

The club is allowed to use the garage right next door's parking lot. It,like our parking lot is not very big but gives us double the parking spaces so you do not have to park across the street in the shopping center's lot and worry about your car. This of course is only available at night when the garage is closed.

CPThat's interesting to hear as I've been a bit disappointed with BSC lately, of course I've been making the mistake of going on Fri/Sat nights. Perhaps I should try it midweek again (have you been going midweek CP?). If you think dancer quality is high now you should have seen it about 2 years ago, it was just unbelievable for awhile.

Oh yeah, you gotta avoid Fri/Sat, it's just a fucken zoo and, of course, it's "date night" at BSC and so many other PHX strip clubs. I've been there on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and been very, very impressed. This is the best talent at this club since the previous owner here was sent away by the IRS for tax evasion, about 10 years ago.

Has anyone been to Vegas Cabaret yet? I noticed that they've got a website up and going (http://www.vegascabaret.biz/home.htm). It appears that Lexus has become a focal point of their advertising (website & print), good choice. Their New Times ad says the club is featuring Lexus & Gia.

I stopped by Vegas Cabaret last night and I hate to say it but I was less than impressed, I got there a little after 10:00pm, never saw more than 2 girls on the floor at one time (on a Friday night:-\ ), no Lexus (or Deanna) anywhere to be seen :'(, not one dancer stopped by (not that that was too disappointing though as the girls who were working were nothing to write home about). The blonde waitress was hot though, too bad she wasn't dancing. Needless to say I didn't stay long, I headed down the street to Christies where there was a plethora of hotties dancing.

A few random AZ club thoughts and observations:

First, I, too, tried Vegas Cabaret a couple of weeks ago. No Lexus, no Deanna, just four dancers, all 1's on the CP 1-4 dancer scale. At least they got rid of the asshole bouncer. Club is clean and the seats are comfy, but I don't go to SCs for the ambience. Lexus, how does one go about contacting you for a get together at this place?...

BSC, is, hands down, the best night shift in town, both for looks and mileage. Gotta do VIP, though...Hi-Liter has another stunning addition to the dayshift: Kennedy, a tall, hardbody blonde with a killer rack...sadly, pretty much a zero on the personality scale and she plays zone defense like Tayshaun Prince, but she does offer a little NASCAR activity...

A tale of two Mustangs...One is an uber-MILF who has danced dayshift at Christy's in Phoenix for years...great personality, great laps, and she has even introduced new dancers to me she thought I'd like...then there's Mustang, a nightshifter at BSC...legs out to here (she can actually touch the top of the stage when she does vertical splits!!!)...I took her to VIP...she grabbed my arms and said no touching, then even moved them off her hips...when the song was over, she asked me for another and I told her no, thanks...why not, she asked...too many rules, I responded...but my dances get better the more you get...you don't expect me to let you touch me right away, do you?...well, yes, i do expect some touching, not forceful hands by the side...ugh...got laps from 15 dancers, she was by far the lamest...talk about big hat no cattle.

I want to use this forum to publicly thank and praise Cory, the dayshift floorman at Christies 32nd St., for finding and securing my wallet that I left in the chair I was sitting in earlier today. I gave him a nice tip and told him that he saved me more grief than he could possibly imagine.

I suppose this happens pretty regularly in clubs, and the staff consider it no big deal, but you cannot fathom the panic attack I had when I realized I had left it behind some ten miles after I left the club. The last time I did this exact same thing (at the HiLiter a few years ago), I never saw that wallet again, and the financial loss was substantial, not to mention the elaborate story I had to create to explain to my wife how I lost it.

I dodged a HUGE bullet today, thanks to the honest staff at Christie's.

THANKS CORY, YOU SAVED MY ASS FROM ALL MANNER OF HELL AND DESPAIR!!!

I'm gonna throw a little love to a club rarely mentioned here and avoided by me since its opening a few years ago, Christie's Cabaret in Tempe.

As I work near it, I couldn't help but notice how busy it was during the day. Seeing 25+ cars in the parking lot around noontime (as I was on my way to the 5 & Diner) boded well, in my opinion, so I resolved to find a way back here soon.

Glad that I did. The club had at 20-30 dancers on a dayshift (rare for PHX), and at least 8 were lappable to very lappable. Moderate (for PHX) mileage was available--SSTP, mild feeding, some peekaboo, etc. I lapped 5 different gals with varied results, but had a good time overall.

Watch out for: chubby dayshift manager who walks the club every other song, looking for mileage violations; bad waitresses who take a long time to get a drink order; multiple pelican dancers who don't take no for an answer easily.

So that makes four clubs out of 50 here that are worthwhile: Hi-Liter, BSC, CC-Phx and CC-Tempe. Sorry to fellow hound azdd, but I cannot put Centerfolds on the list. Three straight visits with no laps and no candidates for laps = sucky club, AFAIAC. Too bad, because years ago it really rocked.

So, I find myself at Christie's again (the 32nd St. location) waiting for dancer to arrive. She'd called me earlier that day and asked me to see her again (our last visit ended with my obvious disappointment with a sub-par performance in the VIP room). She promised she'd be a lot better, and proceeding to core dump about 5 major SS issues on me. But, she's 20, gorgeous, and has possibly the best natural pair of DD breasts I've seen in a long time, so I will give her another shot. I am a PL, after all.

I get a text telling me she's running late, please don't leave. Up to this point, that was my primary thought, as the Thursday day shift was not exactly a Sportsbybrooks tryout. Is there any time that passes slower than strip club time when there is no one to lap? I think not.

I'm sitting by the back railing, nursing my $4.25 Coke, when I get Pearl Harbored by a dancer. Sneak attack from behind, she gets right up into my grill and asks, "Wanna dance?" A quick glance shows the standard skinny, no titted dancer with bad hair and worse dental work. Zero charisma, zero charm, zero sex appeal. I politely decline ("No thanks.") She then asks me again. "No thanks, I am actually waiting for another dancer."

"Oh really? Who?"

I tell Ms. SS her name.

"I haven't seen her here yet. How about a dance with me?"

"No thanks, she will be here shortly and I am waiting for her. Thank you."

"Why don't you want a dance from me?"

I look at her, brow furrowed.

"C'mon, buy one dance."

"I'm not interested, thanks."

"Are you enjoying yourself. You don't seem to be enjoying yourself."

"I'm fine, I simply don't want a dance, okay?"

"Why not?"

I turn away, pulse rising, trying to remain calm.

She turns to a custy next to me. "I think he's just mean."

She continues to stand right behind me. I think she finally leaves after two songs, when she gets right into my grill again.

"How about a FREE dance? Can I buy you a drink..." I get it now. She thinks I don't want a dance from her because I can't afford it, not because she is the least attractive and most annoying dancer in Phoenix. I snap. I do not snap in clubs. I don't. I come to relax, have a good time, and get my game on. But she has pushed me to my limit and I do something I have never, ever done before in my entire clubbing life.

Reaching into my pocket, I pull out a 3" thick roll of $20s. No exaggeration. I slam it on the table and said, "I can afford my own drinks. I can afford my own laps. I don't want to lap you. I do not understand why you insist on trying to get a lap from someone who clearly has no interest in you at all. Move on. MOVE ON!" Btw, her eyes just bugged out when she saw my roll. It almost made the whole incident worthwhile.

Finally, it was her time to go onstage so she left. Unbelievable. I think I am rid of her when she fucking re-materializes by my side 20 minutes later insisting on giving me a free lap. "I don't want you to hate me. I'm sorry for what I said." She then force her way into my lap, waiting for the next song to start. When it does, she gets up, does a decently sensual lap. My hands are glued to the chair's arms; I am not going to do anything to inspire this girl to stay by me. Halfway through the song, she put her nipple on my lips. Do I open my mouth and take her offering? No, no, no...I am weak. I open, suck (gently) until the song is over. "How was that?" "Nice, thank you." "Okay, see you later."

I am a PL.

LMAO, I've never snapped, well not too badly anyways, but damn some girls really have it coming.

I always thought that the girls that offered the "free" dances did so because they know that most people will feel like a heel if they don't pay them something for that "free" dance and will cough up something, or they will get a second "paid" dance to make up for it. I've never accepted one of those offers for just that reason, I'm not that much of a PL (j/k CP).

CP = thanks for the post. We all know why, but Christie's on 32nd street has really gone downhill fast. There used to be a 'fun' crowd of dancers who kept the mood light, but they're all gone now.

Now, when I go in there, I get an extreme OC tasting 'hustle hut' vibe like I've never gotten before. I often feel like I'm in a SC run by some old retired Disney folks who are all about 'being on stage'.

I used to go to this Christie's. Lately I'm finding some of my old 'regulars' stalking me, asking me to come back. It's just a little weird.

Thanks CP for standing your ground. For once, the custy became "unattainable" to the dancer, and your TR demonstrates the outcome! I would have LOVED to see the look on her face when you pulled out the tiproll! Very cool play.

Lately I've noticed a definite attitude drift with dancers not accepting a simple "no thank you", without continuing to push for the sale, or demanding some justification from me for not buying a dance. This kind of behavior used to be common only during "perfect storm" season between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but perhaps the summer slowdown in Phoenix is pushing the currrent trend as well. At least your "in-your-grill" girl didn't start crying and whining to you about how low her self-esteem is...(been there, done that, refuse to do it again).

Chili, you have more fortitude than I do. I'd have either sucked down my drink and left or got another gal to occupy my table just to keep that octopus away from me. Hell when they get that persistent, I'm not sure even that would have helped. I just will not do sympathy dances, not even for free.

As much as I blast the gals around here for being the lazy no hustle at all variety, I sometimes wonder if I'm dealing with the lesser of two evils. I mean if I see a gal that I DO want a dance from, I can always go get her on stage. Then I just have to hope and pray that she shows up.

I've had a lot of free time on my hands lately, you know what that means, here are a few observations from recent visits.

Hi-Liter, easily the best club in town, IMO they are really starting to put some distance between themselves and every other club in town. I can't think of anything I don't like about this place, it's laid back, they alway's got a wide selection of girls to choose from (and they seem to be adding more all the time), waitstaff is excellent, drinks are reasonably priced, and most importantly the dances are the best in town.

Penthouse Club, what a horrible place, not the building itself which is top notch, but the location stinks, the quality of the girls is low, the dances are mediocre, the girls have absolutely no hustle, waitstaff very slow and inattentive. I'll give this place six more months. I was there about 11pm Saturday night and it was dead, few customers, dancers sleepwalking about, no energy what-so-ever. Of the dozens or so dancers working only 1 was lapable, her name was Mystique, I have to give her credit, her stage show was excellent, one of the best I've seen as a matter of fact, unfortunately she seemed to have lots to do in the dressing room because I didn't see her work the floor at all.

Bourbon Street Cirus, I know CP has been raving about this place lately, but I can't recall the last time I actually had a good time there. It really doesn't have anything to do with the lack of quality girls, it's just that the lack of hustle by the girls (at least the girls I want to spend time with) is becoming very frustrating. I have no trouble approaching girls about getting dances but at the same time I don't like having to work too hard at it either.

Skin, I like the girls here but that's about it, the whole vibe is just not for me, just too much attitude and pretension from the staff (with the exception of the waitstaff) and other customers for my taste. The last time I was there the DJ was actually yelling at and belittling people because they weren't tipping some girl on stage, it was the damnedest thing.

Christie's Cabaret/PHX, they've been picking things up, the quality of the girls seems to be on the rise, there is lots of variety, dances are good, the girls have no trouble circulating around the room, I've found myself going here more than Bourbon lately.

Maybe I should have put these in the review section:-\.

I've had a lot of free time on my hands lately, you know what that means, here are a few observations from recent visits.
Hi-Liter, easily the best club in town, IMO they are really starting to put some distance between themselves and every other club in town. I can't think of anything I don't like about this place, it's laid back, they alway's got a wide selection of girls to choose from (and they seem to be adding more all the time), waitstaff is excellent, drinks are reasonably priced, and most importantly the dances are the best in town..
I don't really disagree RH, but as you and I have said before, this place is very different between night and day. I haven't been at night in many months for good reason, has anything improved? Dayshift is more laid back, and there are some amazing gals there, including my ATF, but I gotta tell ya, it's starting to get crowded. There are some new door guys that now make a big deal out of "seating" you, which I just hate. On my last trip, one of the door guys sits me in the very back corner next to the grill, and says he'll get me "on the wall" first chance he gets, which of course means he wants a tip. Ya know, if I'm gonna drop a couple hundred in a club, I don't need some no-neck moron telling me where I can sit. Ms. N was out of town, so I wasn't in the greatest mood anyway, so after sitting there for 20 minutes, I walked out, having spent a grand total of $5 for bottled water. Ms. N will always bring me back, but otherwise I'm becoming a less than satisfied patron. >:(

I have no trouble approaching girls about getting dances but at the same time I don't like having to work too hard at it either. .
I am dying to try this place out at night, based on CP's reviews. I have been there several times on dayshift over the last couple of months, and liked it a lot. BSC is really comfortable, and they have a pretty nice VIP setup, but they need more daytime dancers. I did meet one very hot daytime dancer there named Justice. Very exotic ethnic mix, and very friendly. And, I know this sounds corny, but I really like the popcorn. Keep it comin! ;D

I've also only been here on dayshift, but I agree that things are picking up nicely. There are some awesome ladies working daytime at CC's, including an absolute darling SW gal that gives great dances AND great conversation. 8)

I did note that RH's list did not include Centerfold's, which I would still have on my list, despite CP's poor experience there. Their VIP rooms offer the best privacy in town, although they do charge a one-time $20 entry fee. I would compare their daytime atmosphere to the HL, with perhaps fewer custys and dancers, but still plenty of talent to spice up your afternoon! }:D

I haven't been playing much in my own backyard in awhile, but if I can get some free time, I'll try to stop into my favorite Tucson clubs, and provide a similar update in the not too distant future. ;)

I've been meaning to stop in at night again to give it another try. I consider the door guys a minor annoyance, it really only bothers me when it's not busy and there is lots of seating available and the fool still wants to "seat" me. There is a reason it's always busy you as you very well know.

I think my problem with it is that I had a lot of faves there that no longer work there, they used to take care of me, I never had to wait, I always got great dances, damn I miss those girls. I love the popcorn too.
